Haha, Jungle Jim's is awesome.

I'm not a Cincinnati DIS-er, but my parents live in Indiana and make the trip to Cincinnati to go to Papadeaux and Jungle Jim's.

I like their outhouse bathrooms over by the wine.

Oh, and the WINE and the OLIVE BAR and the fresh FISH and the PRODUCE section the size of a football field, and CAKES from the Bonbonerie, and ELVIS singing.....

Stop me, I'm getting weepy!!!!

I know, I know!

We don't get out there as often as I would like, but whenever we do go the place is PACKED! I can spend all day, just wandering around the international foods

Can't wait for the Eastgate one to open.

We are headed there this weekend. We try to stop by every couple of months. We always get their meat - steaks, sausage, bacon, ground beef, etc. We make an afternoon of it. It is about 45 minutes from us. The cheese and produce aisles are amazing.

The "Jungle" as Dh and I call it is right down the road from where I teach. It's only a short walk to there. We shop ther often for alcohol especially wine and beer. They have a great selection and the only other place that I can think of in the Cincinnati area that compares to their selection (actually beats it) is the Party Source store in Bellevue Ky.......

I agree with the other posters here..... you can't walk in the place and come out without spending more than you had planned.

I live 10 minutes from the new Eastgate one.. and no it isn't open yet! I'm excited for it to open though!
