Jungle Cruise Revamp!

I really like your ideas Mal. It does seriously need a credit revamp.

But...I personally like the nedding. I often ned when I'm busy doing other things and can't actually "play". And, if you want to play a game real quick right before the 10 minute warning, you don't have time to complete the game before closing. So I will often just crash real quick at that time.

I want to at least get some credits without having to actually "play". And I can reach just over 57k when I actually play (and my pc co-operates).

Who really want's to lose the possibility of at least getting some credits while you have to get up and go away from your computer for a few minutes?

And I don't see how nedding "clogs" up the game? You get into the game at any time you want.

I too like to put tigressjewel on a JC boat and let her cruise while I do other things. If they used this scoring system or something similar though it would raise the lowest credits from 20 to 50. That would be sweet!

you're definately right! The only two games I can actually play are only haunted mansion and jungle cruise. I struggle enough to get credits to buy stuff

I don't know that it WOULD clog up the game , but I know whenever there are masses of people doing any game, be it for a quest or new pirate keys or whatever, we often have a difficult time getting into the lobbys (even though you can start anytime in JC, Nedding leaves ppl in the lobby who are afk when their cruise is over) and even starting a new game or getting sent back to the lobby because the game itself is over filled with players. That's never happened with JC that I know of, but with impressive credits I could see the popularity rising just as Pirates did when keys first came out.

Just read that and since Lori handles the q & a I had actually not seen that....but that was posted in OCT and nothing has happened yet. Hopefully this thread will light a fire

...You know they could "unplug the game" and give us a clean top ten- am I aging myself or did anyone else ever do that with the arcade machines- I used to do that to get my initials on the screen when I was much much younger lol...

I remember doing similar. We found that with the Miss PacMan arcade game (and others if I recall correctlyi recall), if you wack the machine just right, square between the coin slots with the butt of your hand you could reset the machne and get the Hi Score. Heh I'm sure that wasn't in the manual. LOL It wasn't until much later (when we were taller, I think) we found out the power toggle was on top of the machine and could just flip the switch. Heh. Ahhh... Memories....

I totally heart Mal's idea of changing the scoring. I never play JC unless I have to for a quest. I also wish they'd take out those little loading and unloading sequences. I HATE those wasted 30 seconds at the beginning and end of a game. Especially the end one when I'm anxious to complete a quest and I got my points and I just want to go on! LOL Drives me mad.

Maybe those were added to reduce Nedding, but if they required us to get a minimum score to get 20 credits, then people couldn't just play, crash, get paid, repeat. At 1%, 20 credits is only 2k points, a reasonable score I think anyone should be able to get even within the first screen, I think? Certainly before they run out of fuel.
