Jungle Cruise at night.

Who agrees that the Jungle Cruise is much cooler at night? Things look more real, and when you look back, it's pitch black. Things seem creepier, and like you're really there.

I like it a lot better at night.

Wait a second, Jungle Cruise isn't real? Well I'm going to have a talk with my parents who for the last 35 years have insisted time and again that DL was actually built around an African jungle... this sounds like the time a couple years ago they broke it to me that Santa Claus doesn't really...

Jungle Cruise at night is way cool and in general I persoanlly find that most rides are more fun at night when the lights are shining and the path is less realized.

I like how you can't see the animals in the water as well when you approach them. It also just seems so much larger and mysterious in the dark, the jungle and ride in general that is.

And if you time it right and don't otherwise care that you're missing things, you can see the fireworks while on the ride. It's a very cool thing, as long as you don't mind missing the fireworks, to see that. :)

Missing the fireworks is one of the worst Disney sins ever! Blasphemy!

;)

With a awesome Skipper, and a good speaker (I hate when I can't hear the bad jokes), JC is awesome any time but extra cool at night!

Don't believe I ever went on the JC at night at either DL or WDW, gonna have to do that in May!

I have been on JC so many times but never at night, I am going to make it a point to do that now, I betit is so much more realistic at night :)

I know I know. :upsidedow Never seen Fantasmic at all, how's that for blasphemy?

But it was still cool to see the fireworks from the JC boat... Had a funny skipper, too, who did the line about translating the native language...sat, sat, sat, sat in the boat, then...."nope!" and took the boat away from the area.:rotfl2:

I don't remember ever taking a JC at night in WDW - but will add it to my "must do's" for DL right away! :thumbsup2

I wish I had thought of this! We just got back and did the JC at noon -it was hot and somewhat boring... would have definitly been better at night.

Oh my gosh, bumbershoot...REALLY?!?! I can't imagine that, I hope you get to see it at some point, I think it is so great. Especially in DL!!!

I do love to take advantage of the crowd reduction during F!, fireworks, and parades as long as we have seen them already on the trip. I love being able to ride BTMRR over and over with no wait at night!

Me and my sis went on the Jungle Cruise on Thursday Night cause Indy was having problems (like always) Anyways...it was different and i would recommend going at night cause it's kind of like you are on a safari at night.
