Jungle Book DVD ?

does anyone have the dvd, if so can you tell me the format? is it widescreen or full screen, do they have both?
if its wide screen is it annoying to watch like that? Thanks

netflix has it as NOT RELEASED... release date unknown

The DVD has been out of print since the original "Limited Issue" release back in the early days of DVD's. Rumor has it that it will be released again in Fall 2007 as a Platinum 2 disc release with 101 Dalmations coming before it in Spring 2007.

Both Jungle Book and 101 Dalmations were created in the full screen ratio like Snow White and Cinderella.

Both of the previously released out of print DVD's are available on eBay if you can't wait but expect to overpay and beware of bootlegs.

I got mine from ebay. I looked for a few days for one that was in original packaging and not a bootleg. I bought it for under $20.00 (including s/h).

They have quite a few listed now. They will usually say if it's a bootleg, but if you are unsure ask the seller.
