This June was unusually wet. We were there for a couple of weeks and only lost one day due to rain. I'd guess there was some rain for 10 out the 14 days but just one whole day, 3 or 4 days of a couple of hours of heavy afternoon showers, 3or 4 days of a light shower or quick storm and cleared up.

Afternoon storms/showers are a regular risk anytime from May through October but usually July,Aug and Sept are the most likely. It didn't really have too much effect on our holiday, it's not too hard to work round the weather by planning the indoor rides for late afternoon or predominantly indoor ride parks like Universal or Epcot on days that get a bad forcast.

We were there from the 3rd - 17th June this year and didn't find it that bad.

Yes we did see lots of rain but not every day. When it rained, it poured, usually for about an hour and then it cleared up again.

A good shower or rain certainly cools things off and it was quite welcoming at times (believe me, I love hot sunny weather and even I was hoping for a QUICK shower of rain on the odd day).

The worst experience we had was a day at Busch Gardens in Tampa. We arrived to a thunderstorm that carried on for a few hours but even that day by early afternoon the sun was out and things dried up and warmed up a treat.

I have to say I probably wouldn't choose to go in June again but in my experience Florida weather cannot be guaranteed any time of the year.

We were there 21st to 28th June . It rained on the way from the airport for about half an hour and then we had no more rain until the Friday night for half an hour whilst waiting for Fantasmic. The weather the first 2 days was very cloudy, hot and humid . The rest of the time was hot and sunny.

We went to the parks early came out at lunchtime spent the afternoon by the pool and went back to the parks between 4 and 5. The crowds were not bad early and late but when we came out the parks at lunch time there were people everywhere and the queues were 60-90 mins for most things whereas we just walked on everything.

We would go back in June.

hi,
thank you for your replies, you have certainly made me feel a whole lot better about going in june:D :D
