June vs. July weather

Does any one think the weather in June or July is better or
about the same. We went on the 4 night Wonder May 30, 2004
cruise and the weather could not have been any better. The
water was so calm, we could not tell the boat was even moving, unless
you looked out to the water. This year we are looking at 2nd or 3rd
week of July. We would not want to go any later because our schools
start back Aug. 8th.

It really all depends on where you're looking to go. The weather gets hotter and therere is more humidity in July of course, especially in Cozumel. The seas should be the same, but as you approach July and August it will get hotter in the Caribbean just as it gets hotter here in southwest Florida. Rainy season also builds in July and you do have a better chance of showers, but just like here, they're usually heavy and short in many areas of the Bahamas and the Caribbean. There's not that much of a difference that it would keep me from cruising. I've gone to Cancun in July and though we baked it still was a great vacation.
