Just booked a trip in June! So super excited! We got 7 day one park per day tickets with the sports/water park option. And here is the dilemma:

We arrive late afternoon on a Saturday. Sunday we were thinking to sleep in a bit (trying to adjust to the time change from the west coast), then head to BB. Enjoy the afternoon there and then go to Epcot. If we have a park reservation for Epcot, we can go into that park at anytime? Even if it’s at capacity after the 2pm park hopping?

Next question is which parks are the most crowded on the weekends?

And lastly, if you had a 7 day ticket, what days would you go to each park? We for sure want to go to AK two days because we absolutely loved it there our first trip last month. And we are *thinking* of throwing in a rest day mid week and hitting up BB again. Would love to hear your thoughts and opinions! We are DL pros and still have so much to learn about WDW. Thank you!!!!

Congrats on the June trip! You mentioned 7 day park tickets, but not length of stay, do you plan for 8 nights or longer?

When you have a park pass reservation, you're guaranteed entry all day, so waiting to go to epcot until later in the day should be fine.

Going in the summer time, you'll probably have a similar experience to your trip last month where parks are busy all week long. Most school districts across the country are out, more people will be vaccinated, and people will be eager to travel. One sure bet is that Hollywood Studios will be busy 7 days a week, so planning that on a weekend is usually best. Epcot is best not on a weekend. Magic Kingdom is usually less crowded mid week.

So for me, I'd do
Sun - Epcot
Mon - Animal Kingdom
Tues - Magic Kingdom
Wed - Blizzard Beach/rest
Thurs - epcot
Fri - Magic Kingdom
Sat - DHS/ animal kingdom - if you don't get a RotR boarding group, switch to animal kingdom.
Sun - same. If you did get a bg on sat, switch to AK.

Have a great trip!

Thank you SO much! Really appreciate it :) we are totally ok with it being more crowded. Just happy to be back and enjoying our time together as a family and having fun! I wanted to go WDW my entire life and finally got to go when I was 40! lol. And now going back for a second trip in 6 months. We loved WDW!

Again, thanks so much for the reply!

Right there with ya. My first trip was at 37, almost 38 and I just got back from my 40th birthday trip. I love the planning aspect of Disney, it’s so much fun as well as learning the history of the parks, etc. Hearing about others adventures brings me back here and wanting to go more 🤣. Unfortunately my wife is not as excited about the rides and parks as I am, so I just have to get what I can out of it.

have fun with your planning and the trip when it’s time.

Can you go to a water park and regular park on the same day without hoppers? We always had hoppers so I’m just checking

Definitely something to look into. Information coming out from the Blizzard Beach tix going on sale says at this time a park pass reservation is not required. Maybe it won’t be an issue?

That’s the way I’m reading it online. Only one regular park per day. Then only one water park. Is this not correct?

“Walt Disney World Resort has 4 exciting theme parks to explore—Magic Kingdom park, Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. With the Water Park and Sports option, you can visit one theme park each day of your ticket. The Water Park and Sports option will be available for travel beginning on March 7, 2021.
Plus, you get a certain number of visits to other Walt Disney World fun based on the length of your ticket. For example, a 4-day ticket allows 4 visits and a 5-day ticket allows 5 visits. For each visit, you can choose one of the following:
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park*
This thrilling water park features one of the world's tallest and fastest free-falling waterslides, as well as slides and rides for the whole family.”

Ok! Lol. Thanks. I think we will be going to BB more than we think. Pretty sure my kids will love it!
