OK... I am wondering what weather and crowds are like in August compared to June?
We are thinking June 3 - 10 or August 12 - 19....
When would you go and why?

i would go with june - northeast schools are still in session
and maybe less threat of a hurricane
but i think either way it will be hot

We went in August adn NEVER again, it was WAY TO HOT, I would go with June, in hopes its not As HOT!

It will still be warm here but not as bad as August and the crowds will be a little lighter if you are planning on the first couple of weeks of June. Of course, if you just take it easy and drink plenty of water the heat is not so bad but the crowds can drive us crazy! Good luck in your decision! :sunny:

June....slightly less hot, less humid, less chance of rain.

Last two weeks of August are less crowded, you actually get less rain and it is only a few degrees warmer. In another post, someone pointed out that the sun is actually worse in June due to a higher heat index. However, August is right in the middle of hurricane season. Though the risk is small that a hurricane would effect WDW, it is a risk none the less.

I'd still probably pick June just because it is prettier than August. August has that burned to a crisp look and not that much is in bloom.

We went in August last year, and while we had a great time I would have to think really hard about going during that time again. We are hoping that this June is better, since school is a big factor we don't have alot of options.
August was so so humid, last year was even hotter for us in IL than usually, so I don't know if it was abnormally hot for FL or not. It rained everyday, usually short downpours in the afternoon. The crowds, can it be any busier? I am glad that we had adr's who knows when we could have eaten. We had a blast to the most part, but just be prepared for the heat. We weren't! We had three sick kids by midweek, so make sure to push fluids.
