OMG, this was the wrong month to do this game! Bought three things I was not supposed to. A pair of comfy shoes (returning another pair, though), a nice dinner at our favorite place - we had a great time, and t-shirts on sale at J.Crew for the upcoming trip. I have made peace with the fact that my wardrobe is very monochromatic, and ordered more things that I will actually wear

June - I will try to have 7 no-buy days. I track DH spending too so that makes it doubly hard to have a no-buy day. I don't track bills or gas. My goal for groceries is to spend under $525 including soaps, etc. for our family of 4.

6/18 - Total groceries so far $485.50 (trying for budget of $525 for family of 4 - 2 teen girls

I hope it's okay for me to join way late to the party! I'm just going to start counting from today - these threads are so motivational for me and I have majorly fallen off the wagon... Goal is as many no-spend days as possible; bills don't count; grocery amounts are only listed in the amt over $100 I spend (my goal weekly food budget); if I sell something and use that money to buy I don't list it.
