I didn't do so well with my budget today. A coworker invited me to lunch THEN the boys & my husband became jealous so I had to buy them lunch too smh. I did get a refund for an item I was charged 2x for so +$22.86. I also have some end of the year gifts left over as some kids in my son's class didn't show up for school on the last day. I will return those to Target sometime this weekend.

Sidebar: There is a Groupon code (CHZZY) for $15 off any pizza deal. My husband and I have date night once per month. This month, our date is scheduled for June 17th, and we decided to stay home and watch a movie, BUT I discovered this code today and was able to find a Groupon for a "pizzas for 2" deal. The Groupon was $11 and includes 2 unlimited topping pizzas + drinks. Since the coupon code was for $15 off, my Groupon was FREE so we get to go out at a new pizza restaurant, and I get to not spend any money. YAY!

Today was easy since it pretty much rained all day in Houston so I was stuck home.

Sorry you got the rain. It's beautiful in Dallas today!!!

Not a no buy day. We went to lunch, I bought our fur baby a new collar and toy. I also bought French bread. Yummy!!!

Yesterday I worked a 12-10:30 and was a good girl and brought food from home.

Today we had a morning meeting so I grabbed coffee on my way in, got gas, ran to target, and got us lunch. I am now home for the rest of the day.

I'm tardy to the party, but I'm joining in! Now, I do have some planned expenditures for next week in addition to the bills, since they're planned and necessary (sprinkler for the vegetable garden and car parts), I'm just going to include them in the bills category.

I'm not including things such as bills and groceries because they cannot be eliminated, of course. BUT I do only spend $200/month on groceries (household items are also bought with this budget), and I only grocery shop once per month. I'm big on freezer meal, and I coupon like nobody's business :)

We had so many heavy storms last week, that we actually had standing water in our backyard for two days. Really unusual! I hope you get some sun soon!!

Bought eggs, cold meds for my daughter, so a no buy day as I don't count groceries.

Yesterday I saw one of my favorite movies on bluray/digital copy for just $6.35, so I couldn't resist. We also got my bike serviced, but since it was paid for by our REI member dividend, I am not counting as a spend. Today we will be buying a few more plants for our veggie garden, but since we are taking it out of our grocery budget, I am not counting it towards spend either. Our veggie garden is already starting to look pretty good! The tomato plants are going crazy with all of the nice rain we have been having. Can't wait to supplement our groceries with home grown goodies.

Dental visit today but since our insurance covers the visit and our extended insurance covers the copay, I'll be reimbursed for what I spent out of pocket...so it counts as a no buy. I did TRY to spend money...LOL...yesterday DS tore the crap out of his only pair of church pants so I looked online to see if I could find some replacements. In the end, I decided to take him out on Friday, since that's when I'll be getting gasoline and groceries anyway and didn't put anything in my cart. I also planned on stopping at the grocery store on the way home from the dentist for more mushrooms and bananas but my bladder was so full by the time that I left, I just went straight home.

I never thought I would say hooray about a full bladder, but it gave you another day!! Way to go!!

We stayed home today, so another no spend day!!

6- $46.90 bike+helmet for my little one

This is getting harder and harder, and I'm finding myself getting back to my routine (online shopping when bored and Target runs after work).

Although I spent close to $50, I got an amazing deal!! My older son has a Disney Cars bike because he's obsessed with all things cars. The younger one only has ride ons. They were outside playing with their ride on toys when the younger one asked for a bike. Well how can I say no? He said he wanted a Paw Patrol bike so I looked up some options online. I saw Target had two in stock for $69.99 plus there was a Cartwheel coupon for an additional 20% off the bike and 15% off helmets. When went to Target, I could only find one and the box was ripped. DH carried it to checkout, and I asked the cashier if there was someone who could help me find the other one. She called the manager over who looked up the SKU. He said if the system says 2, there was probably only one. He then said he would give me 45% off because of the box. Hahaha nothing makes my face light up like a discount lol. The bike was on sale in store for $62.99 + manager gave me 45% off + cartwheel coupon for 20% off + Red Card discount for another 5% off. The helmet was $19.99 + cartwheel coupon for 15% off + red card 5% discount. I would say that's still pretty darn good even though I spent money...but it just wasn't fair for one kid to have a bike and not the other. Plus, I think he's old enough to learn how to ride a real bike.

That's so awesome!!! You did get a great bargain!!! My younger grandmunchkin likes Paw Patrol also. No problems too big, no pup is too small, lol.

Well I'm calling this one early. We stayed home, so a no buy day and I made a couple of dollars on Swagbucks, lol.

DH went out for a run this morning and came back insisting that he needed to get Dr. Scholls inserts for his runners because running without them was destroying his ankle. So, we went out to get them and since the grocery store was right next door, I popped in there for some essentials whilst he went to get his inserts. He got some for his Docs too (the shoes he wears for work) so he spent double what I was expecting but it was covered by the clothing budget for this month. Unfortunately, he left only $4 (we had spent half already on Saturday) and I still have to find some church pants for DS. So, this is going to be interesting!

On the way home, I suggested we stop for gasoline. Hopefully, I can get away with not having to buy anything more this week because we now have a full tank of gasoline and enough food to last for a week or so.

Ugh! I was too embarrassed to show my face here yesterday lol. Yes, I should have gone grocery shopping, but we took the boys to Chili's for lunch instead :( Today will be better

So I didn't spend anything yesterday, which is awesome! But then I checked Slickdeals this morning and there were stormtrooper/darth vadar keychains for just $0.36 each, so I bought one of each. I know that DH will love them. They were just so cute and cheap, I couldn't resist. I don't anticipate any more spending for today, since I am at a work conference until tomorrow evening.
