The online check in on the new web site did not take long. It was neat to log in and see different option buttons on my reservation page. Have fun friends..

So MKY: What are the AP discounts like? I saw the thread you started but not prices. I guess not so great, not many following ap rates anymore. My parents and sister got pin codes but the discount is the same as the gp offer. Of course I am looking for free dining. Just makes most sense with our party size. But I am wondering what the ap discount is. How much for value and mod? My parents want to bring all the grandkids but my family with 4 adults is killing the budget. Are the days of $60 value ap rates and $99 moderate rates still available or no way close?

Hi TP2- If you go over to Mousesavers there is a link to what the exact AP discounts are for RO.....I know each Resort cat. has a different discount. I haven`t seen the FD discount as of yet, but I really wasn`t looking for that..We had gotten a PIN back in the winter, which I took advantage of to extend our DVC ressie another week.....Hope something comes up for your family soon !!!!!

TP2, I got about 5% off more than I had with the GP code. This was for the contempary. There are alot of differences in resorts for the amounts they are giving. They did not do all deluxes this percentage or all values this percentage.
I think pop and all stars where on > but little mermaid rooms where NOT. They told me it is up to the managers of resorts to offer or not.
If you have specific dates and resort I will check for you. For availablity and amounts.
There is a free dining special out for mid aug > sept.

It's 90 here right now. OMG. We are almost 10 degrees warmer than WDW.

Thanks for offering. Okay so it would be a huge family thing. Maybe others can put their bargain hunting brains together and figure the best way to do this. We are 6 adults, 4 kids, 1 infant. Grandma and Grandpa want to bring everyone so I am trying to keep costs as low as possible. They are happy with Pop but I feel like there may be a better way to work it with all the crazy discounts. I would buy 1 AP and get 3 rooms. Both my parents and sister got pin codes but only for room discounts. Seems same as GP offer. Do not have free dining. Miss that promo. Looking to go in August after the 4th because prices drop. Need to be home by August 28. I would love to stay at WL because of location but price may be out of the budget. Looked into suites but CM said suites not part of any discount. Maybe AP? Thought OKW would be a way to go. I can't believe there are no AP threads out there for August. Seems crazy.

TP2- Just a thought ....Starting the 18th of August, is Value season 2...Even without any offer, this is the most discounted time of the summer for resort rates....so if you are thinking that you have to be home by the 28th.....the 18th to the 28th, "WITH", a RO or any other Deeper discount may be the way to go for you !!

I'm starting to put together a shopping list of sorts for things that are needed specifically during a summer trip (it's our first though we've been there puh-lenty lol). Hoping to love summer trips so much that I never want to pull kids out of schoo/write sub plans again!

So far I have on my list:
brita refillable water bottles
body glide
I think we still have our mister fans but I have to dig them out.....

I think what is getting me is that we normally get the free dining and that is a $58 per person, per day discount. So even paying full price at POR, we get the room for free and an additional food discount. The room may be $179 per night but the dp for us is $250 per night. Boy do I miss free dining!

So I just checked. It looks like they flipped the seasons. Value resorts start value season earlier this year and deluxe resorts start it later. Funny that they switched it around. Values and moderates start value season August 4, Deluxe August 18.

We are having our long weekend this week so I have Monday off....time to get in the garden and get rid of the weeds! The weather is beautiful here today.

Yay !! Me too, Sat, Sun and Mon off.. Boy !! I need 3 days off from work. I understand needing helmets for your DD. My DD races 4-Wheelers. Helmet and the right clothes are needed when riding motorbikes. I get so nervous watching my DD speeding past me watching doing 45 to 50 miles an hour with 5 to 7 other racers.

RMHM, OOOhhh I would be scared about that too. We see alot of 4-wheeler accidents at our hospital. Dangerous. Glad she is wearing her helmet.
Was worried about you guys when saw the news about the tornado's that hit texas. Scary. Glad you guys got missed.
We also live in a high tornado area. Nasty business.

Candi, Hiya yes haven't heard from you lately. Nice you got a long weekend. And good weather. It was in the 90's here most of the week.
Went from heat straight to air conditioning.

Tallent, Bug spray. Hard to find item at WDW. Anything you need for pictures. a disc, or film whatever you use > very expensive at wdw.

TP2, That is weird they switched that. Glad we are going early and not late august this year > just for that. Hang in there. Something will work out.
