ok -- but that's why i'm confused - cuz i'm there for 14....
So basically - this boils down to 10 days of parks...

CRAP!

its for as long as your tickets are..

theres a ton of other things to do in orlando... universal studios, seaworld, animal world, gator land, Olde towne(awesome!!) dinner shows... etc.. i use to live there and have visited back many times..

I called the WDW ticket line ---
We can be in the MAJOR theme parks for 10 days
PLUS
10 days in water parks... (which we don't need near that many)

So saying that tickets are good for the number of days of your tickets is incorrect....
We will be able to go to the major theme parks for 10 days -- and then be able to go to the water parks on all the other days on our 14 day trip.

We will not have a car - so going to other places in Orlando is not an option for us..... unfortunately.

OK --- i've looked through the informative Ticket thread... but am still confused --- i knew i had friends here in the thread that could quickly answer for me!

If i get a 10 day park pass w/ the water fun and more option --- with park hopper option....

I'm confused how the water parks play in to this:

Our package is a 14 night stay....

Can I still go to MAJOR parks for 10 days PLUS three additional days of water parks and DQ??

OR -- is it 10 days total of major parks and water parks/etc????

I believe...you get 10 days in the parks PLUS the additional days in the water parks/DQ if you wanted to do that. Is that what you mean?

Don't you get more than 3 days or are you saying you will only have 3 more days?

TL is an all day event and fun. Never done BB.

yes...that is the way it works. Some get those and do the non expiring added to keep the water parks longer than 14, but I've never found that to be cost effective, but it makes my head hurt! Adding that to a new ticket seems to be cheaper than paying the high cost of non-expiration.

vacation shouldn't be so confusing!!

the boys love DQ...they go when they open...eat at Earl of Sandwich and stay all day. Then we meet them at T Rex for dinner.

thats not how it was explained to me...
we just jump park to park cuz we always have the park hopper.. we do multi parks in a day.. we go from major park to water park mid day, then to same or different park in the afternoon.. thats all counts as 1 day..

wdwdancerwannabe, I would sooooooooooooooo check into an annual pass, a premium pass, and a combination of annual pass + 3 water park tix. the price could well be worth it. Remember, there are discounts that go along [usually] and you might be able to parlay them into another vacation next year? [go a week or two early next year and the price is sooooooo worth it]. Discounts could be on resort price, and there is a 10% discount with ap on merschandise, or 20% discount with premium pass. With your trip being 14 days > the price could be worth it. Please at least run the numbers. Good luck.

JMouse, don't you take 75 south [free] and then you must take turnpike? Aside from the airport run, we don't use much toll money in florida.

I wouldn't worry about the toll money unless your going to be driving through here.

We made a record today. Hottest day in chicago in 5years. and its still spring???????????? I have a bad feeling about this.

hmm not sure off the top of my head what we take, i would have to look at the directions we use.. i know there isnt much toll.. maybe one or two.. and its not till basically the lsat leg of the trip.. but still i try to be prepared for it.. have a bunch of change ready..

That's the code mky. It was during my total chaos period with state track, graduation, end of the school year. I can no longer remember who is looking for what anymore. I have two friends here that have trips in October too and they know I am always looking.

When we go from Sanford in FL we take the tollway to avoid I-4 traffic, but that is off to the east side of the state where Sanford is.

I am reading how nutso the lines are at Star Tours at DL....you all might want to know how they are at WDW. When does that re open? Might need a plan. 45 minute fast pass return line

Also...please don't think less of me....but I have absolutely no idea what the Anthony case is........

Casey Anthony > is an Orlando mother of a 3yr old , who {{allegedly}} somehow killed you daughter "calie" and hid her body for months until discovered in a wooded area less than 1 mile from her home with her parents. There was a gigantic search for this kid in Orlando and on the news there almost daily since the missing child [calie] thing started. Mom said the "babysitter" disappeared with her, a month before. During the 1 month she was gone> seems mom became a huge party girl in Orlando. During the country wide could of been world wide search for this calie, mom was on tv constantly saying we have to get her back........ Nancy Grace on HLN talked about it constantly and kept updating this until the trial just started [3 yrs later] and now the trial is on HLN daily. Then HLN's nancy grace and other's all talk about it every nite. Geeeze I just read what I wrote and I think I have been watching too much nancy grace tv.

Anyway, star tours is open. They opened for Star War weekends. I check the other day about 2pm and toy story line was 80 minutes and star wars was 35.

NOT good weather last night. DD and DS were working and had to go to the storm shelter. We lost power a couple times...we were worried our pewters were zapped, and we lost cable and internet for awhile, but they were good...two of the cars were with the kids in the hail. I guess a lot of trees are down...they worked till 9:15. They both work at Sears

The Star Tour versions I guess can be seen in just a couple rides, but DH was hilarious when he read the update on it. I really had intended for just DL11 and I to hit the Magical Mornings, but I read last night that Star Tours was open during that so I bet the boys will get up.
