Happy New Year
January is more than half way over. 2 months and we will change the clocks ahead.
At the Poly a lot of people put towel and some of their stuff on chairs at both pools. How deep does the animal kingdom pools go?
Nevered cook with an electric stove. i learned the hard way you do not make jiffy pop on the top of an electric stove. spent 3 hours cleaning the top of the stove. any pointers for cooking bacon or eggs in a frying pan or pizza in the oven.
on the patios @ animal kingdom can you bring a beverage out on them?

Thanks Humphrey

:rotfl:on the jiffy pop

DL11 says the pool at Jambo is 5 foot something...not over 6.
5 foot 6 something. Not sure about the other one. I guess the one at Kidani has decent snacks.

Mara has this amazing sandwich made of pretzel bread...best ever.
Mara is down by the pool too.

You can take food and drink on the balcony but don't feed the critters!

OH!!! make sure the drapes are pulled due to the security cameras for watching for people feeding the critters:rolleyes1

no balloons either.

I cook all the time on electric...bacon cook on low and flip often
eggs...I cook on medium with a lid which helps.
I could have DH swing by to cook for you...he makes amazing eggs and omelets:love:

Pizza...just follow the box directions. The box tells you soft very hard crusts too for the most part.

DH cooks his eggs on high...faster but watch closely.

KISS THE COOK!!!
he can start the house on fire with the grill though:rotfl:

thanks
Another tip for the villas. do not buy hot pink bath ball. I think that took all night to scrub the tub. the whole bath tub was hot pink color when i drain it.

:rotfl:
I hope you guys like it there only because in the future it will give you another option for the future.

I'd stay anywhere. DS likes the FITNESS CENTER.

By the way...we are going to have issues when the kids don't go with us and he expects me to workout with him.

NOT ON VACATION!!! his Extra Magic Hour is going to start at 5 am then to make it with me to the parks:laughing:

Feeling a bit better again today.

MKY - I had no idea that adults temperatures were different. :scared1: Thanks for letting me know. I would not have been very worried at 103 if you had not told me. I am so glad we have you to bounce ideas off.

I am not short of breath or have any trouble with deap breaths so I think I am okay for now but I will keep an eye on it.

DD12 had this too but she went back to school yesterday and seems to be doing well.

I am getting our new back door installed on Thursday. :yay: It is going to be 19 degrees F here - so I hope they work fast!

I have a bit more work to do before I can get the ECO Energy audit finallized and get some $ back. :woohoo:

Evening everyone, then there where 51 days :cool1:

I so needed to see that after the day at work I had. Ugh. Knee deep in kids and sick ones at that. Ugh. I am exhausted. The thought of going back tommorrow, = :scared1:

Candi, no problem. :thumbsup2 Anytime. Glad your both feeling better.

EE22, I would not work out on vacation either. Especially a wdw vacation. 87 miles of walking. give him a pedometer. ;) :rotfl:

Have a great nite, mky :cutie:

We walked 67 miles one year when I took my pedometer and that was without first and last day.

:banana::banana::banana:on your days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry about work.

Good Morning :surfweb:

It seems everyone is sick. First with the cold a Christmas, then this upper respiratory thing, and last night DH said his stomach was bothering him....gastro :scared1:. That one is the one I hate the most.

I am going to watch the Christening of the Dream this morning.

50 days now MKY just 50 days!
:goodvibes

EE22: That is so funny that you clocked it. I should do that one year. All I know is that I eat like I never do and never come home more than what I was when I wend down there. Always loose something. Last time it was 2 pounds.

I was pretty amazed. The first and last day would have added a ton of miles due to all the airport walking but I was worried the bags would knock it off. The one day we hit AK and then DTD at night was the most. We walked over 10 miles that day. Make sure you get a decent one. I had a free one that didn't work very well.

DD has 76 days of school left! Can't believe it.

:cold:mky and humphrey...stay warm...due to be -12 here tonight and I'm sure you'll be the same. That is just brutal. Keep the gas tank full!

Hiya everyone, :wizard:

Ugh, so happy to be off tommorrow. But, wishing this weekend was over. I so wish spring would come. [then our census goes down] Everyone in town under 18 is on our unit. :rotfl:
Or, at least that is what it seems to be. We are getting really some bad bugs.

Sounds like here. Everyone sick. I am still holding on. Not close enough to ruin my vacation yet. Its coming. >> :lmao: I have been taking vitamins with extra B & C. Hoping that helps.

EE22, your right has been bitter cold here today. Vader didn't want to stay out either. I can't believe DD will be out of hs that quick. Wow, that does seem fast. How are the DL plans coming?

Candi, hope everyone gets over it quick. march is coming.

Tomar, now I know where that weight comes from. I am gaining yours, & TP2's when we go down. :rotfl2: See, its more danagerous in the "off" season. Its cooler you eat more. August I won't want to eat. But, if march is cool > look out. :rolleyes1

We've done the pedometer too. Same thing. unbelievable numbers. I would be afraid to wear on plane. Might not know you are wearing the device and what it is. SECURITY. :scared1:

Jmouse, hope your feeling better. too.

mky:cutie:

yeah im better, thanx.. now if i could get to sleep well i would be all set. I either get teh days where i cant fall asleep even though im exhausted, i wake up for hour, or i get woken up by my cousin's kids running and jumping around in the living room all day..

we got hit with another few inches of snow.. so the whole city shuts down. school was closed thursday, and as of 6pm we are on 2 hr delay for friday

Boy is it cold here today!

I took DD15 shopping for a dress for the cruise and her semi formal at school and we did not have any luck.

I may have to go to Detroit to see what is available. Where you would shop for a moderately priced dress for a 15 year old in the states? I don't know the stores so it would be hard for me to even know where to take her.

I don't want to spend a ton of money.

I am not sure what's in Michigan nowadays...Maurices here has nice dresses especially closer to Prom time/winter formal. Younkers junior department too...if they have Younkers down there...they carry more name brands than say JCP. GOOD LUCK. This brings back bad memories from senior pic/swim suit shopping last spring.

I took DD to Von Maur and actually got better deals there than anywhere else last spring on the sale rack. I know MI doesn't have those there though. Bought a little black dress for WPA cheaper than Younkers and her white pic dress was 20 bucks.

VS is where it's at for swim suits when they are older. They actually weren't much more than the other places we looked and they fit and had a huge selection. Some were big bucks, but many were decent priced.
