RHMH, You are so invited >> Meet at BC. ;) :wave2:

EE22, Becareful driving this weekend here. Lots of ice here.
And I highly recommend the chicago auto show > at McCormick place.
If your looking for an activity. :thumbsup2

Have a great week everyone :grouphug:

No one answered my ? Anyone try Monsier Paul???

mky princess:

I cannot answer the question...mky...I am sorry.
I saw it while we were there, but didn't go.
Our friend said he had heard good things. Not sure if that helps at all.
Sometimes you have to be the trend setter:confused3

:happytv:you are too funny mky...we are going to see DD...auto show? :drive:
shopping is the only show I'm going to see.
She said she'd push me in a wheelchair too in case I'm not fully recovered:goodvibes:lmao:

O M G !...WE are soooooo snowed in today (once again ) !!....Just worried about our power staying on !!:scared1: :faint:...TP2- Stay safe, and I hope your power stays on as well !!

MKY- I am sorry as well, we never made an ADR for MP, went once to Bistro De Paris...upstairs....
Dinner then was good, not Great, and expensive...

Stay warm and safe everyone !!:grouphug:

:wave2: :wizard: Hiya everyone, :wizard: :wave2:

Tomar & TP2 Hang in there. Saw the news and really looks bad out your way. Good luck with power. That is the 1st thing I thought when I saw it too. pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

EE22, :rotfl: You are toooooooooo funny. I thought auto show was :stir: shopping????????? I bet DD would have to agree if not DS????? :stir:
Woodfield is huge > so pace yourself. Small disneyStore, and have a rainforest cafe down by Sears. For dessert & resting > try the black cow at A&W lower level down by sketchers off middle of mall. The cheesecake factory is down the jcPenny hall.
Recommend parking under the parking deck, by Nordstrom and Lord & Taylor. Don't forget across Higgins road is another "outside" mall with a REALLY good Carson's Store in Center. [it runs next too 290?]
And yes, getting snow here tonight. Its warm right now 19 degrees. :thumbsup2

Thanks everyone, About MP. We really to like Chef's > but thinking about trying it too. Ok, I will be the guinea pig.....

OK, dear dvc people > Has anyone ever had problems with washer / dryer?
Want to be sure > they can't say oh sorry not working..... Cause we are really NOT bringing much so we can wash at night and not haul alot of stuff.
Its the backbone of getting the 1 br villa. [[that and the jaguzzi tub]] ;)
-- another question: BCV would get same room service as BC right?
& can use SAB, and other pools?

TXS, mky :cutie:

Thanks for the heads up on the mall mky! DD has been there once and just thinks it's awesome. I feel a summer trip coming up too.
I knew about Rainforest when I hunted for directions but did not know about the Cheesecake Factory. She will probably go for that. I may have to take her up on the wheelchair or:moped:

DVC: we use the washer a lot. Only thing is...they don't give you enough soap and finding travel HE soap is a trick...I've never found any. But, buy some when you arrive or pack some. I am not sure if they have front loaders or not, but any travel soap I couldn't come up with when I was looking for DS and his trip to Belize. We were looking for powder too since he was doing all carry ons and couldn't use liquid.

However...I just had a thought since you won't be on pts you would get supplies each day from room service I would think so stash the soap so you can get more and then you'll have it::yes::

I don't know if SAB is true or not. I'm thinking it's not.
I am also not sure about the room service.

Did you know that Beaches and Cream now takes adrs?

The snow just keeps coming:rolleyes:
More tomorrow for us, but better than the ice...I hope it stays south of here:headache:

Hope Everyone had a Great Valentines Day !!!

MKY- Your getting closer and closer to your trip !! Yaay ! :yay: :yay: :yay:

RHMH- Hope Midori is feeling better and better !!

Happy Planning Everyone !! :grouphug:

Hiya everyone, :yay:

Yes, we went 1 day yesterday with no new snow. And a heat wave of 20 degrees. I was out in a sweatshirt with the boys yesterday. I saw a guy in shorts too. :woohoo:
Today we are getting 4 to 8 inches. And big winds. 21 right now > and doesn't feel at all like yesterday.

It is really hard to think we are going to be in may in 2.5 months. It will probably still be snowing. :confused3

Sorry TP2 & Tomar > this mess is moving east too. I am starting to think we have been anexed into Canada??? The great white north. I have been searching at night for the northern lights but they haven't been here yet. ;)

Well been playing and primping adr's. But, will probably need to tweek when we do fp+.
Has anyone done the fireworks party at mk? I looked at it > but with bug being allergic to chocholate doesn't look like she could eat barely anything? Saw pictures and the non -choc. dishes have it as icing drizzled on top of alot of the things. Wonder if they would make something special for her?

Happy Planning, mky princess:

Hello Everyone - Hope to find everybody is safe, warm and Happy.

We have canceled our trip to Disneyworld this year and have rebooked for the same week at Disneyland.

A new adventure going west so lots of planning and research is in store for us.

Side Note -- Midori is doing well, walking all 2's now with no discomfort...

Happy Day To All

RHMH, OOOOhh we considered DL this year too > but maybe next year because of AP's is not feasible now. :confused3 Your in luck >
EE22, is our girl for DL. She had a trip maybe 1 yr ago and has great pictures & info! :thumbsup2

Glad DD is doing well. :woohoo:

We got dug out today. Got Dad's car stuck in driveway. But all better now. Actually got in the 40's today. We are going to be under water when this mess melts. :scratchin

Have a great week all! And stay warm.

mky princess:

Huge storm coming again Thursday:confused:

We all love, love, love DL.
Make sure you buy tickets from the DL site. Huge issue with pirated tickets there.

Where are you staying?

Do the Dessert Package for Fantasmic! Their show is AMAZING. So worth it too for the seats. People camp all day for a spot. Dumbo and the fireworks over the Castle....:love::love:

Do the Magical Morning and you'll be glad you did...can too all of Fantasyland in that timeframe. If you want to do Nemo...do it then or right when it opens. That might be closing though...not up on all things DL. Great info on here at DL in that section of disboards.

Do the Dinner Package for World of Color...not to be missed! We did the fastpass thing...:scared1::scared1::scared1: NO!!! Even the lunch is okay, but the dinner package is well worth it. We ate at Ariel's. NO fastpass for World of Color unless you want to see it again...which you probably will. It is NOT to be missed!

Brennan's Jazz Kitchen at DTD...wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.
Goofy's Kitchen was the best breakfast at the DL Hotel.

:love::love::love::love::love:Disneyland:love::love::love:

Walking everywhere is so awesome:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

Thanks for all of the information - DLR is going to be exciting. We will be staying at the Hilton Anaheim on 777 West Convention Way. 1500 room convention hotel, looks like pretty close to Adventure Land. We do have to wait until 60 day's out to make dining reservations.

I will be canceling our WDW dining reservations on Saturday. I listed all of the reservations on the thread to see if anyone is interested in any of our spots before clicking cancel...My friends on the July 2014 thread may be able to use a couple of my dining reservations.

Reason for the change... Did not want to tackle trying to work with the new FP+ system and change the way we tour WDW. Maybe next year, when the system is refined.

Love you all....:wave2:

Hiya everyone,

We are in the great melt of 2014 right now & hoping it will work before the next front comes through tommorrow?

RHMH, I thought both parks DL & WDW where doing the same fp+ system? I could be mistaken, just seemed like it when I was reading "stupid guest tricks.com" :stir: :confused3 :stir:
I hope for you guys it is not. :worship:

I am now 2 weeks and holding for fp+ ? Probably will be on computer for hours that day. :surfweb:

Well everyone stay dry & warm, spring is around the corner. ::yes:: :confused3 :hyper: ::yes::

Happy Planning, mky :cutie:

FP+ takes a bit of time you are right::yes::
do NOT just go for what they suggest because it will give you high capacity rides and you won't be able to move them.

The FP+ viewing for Illuminations was well worth it. Great spot. But if there are tiers you'll have to give up Soarin.

Good luck.:hyper:

I think I read that Epcot has the tier system as of now as well EE22-
we refuse to give up "Soarin"...so Im thinking we may have to take our chances with Illuminations viewing spots on our own ! :rolleyes1

Good Luck with your FP+ ressies MKY- Pleeeease let us know how you made out making ressies for Rides....Im Hysterical....I never thought we were going to be doing this as well, but HERE WE ARE !!!!!!! :scared1:

So, we are in the "Big Thaw" here in NJ !...Flooding is going to be a HUGE Problem that's for sure !! IcK ! :headache:

Good Luck with your DL Trip RHMH- :goodvibes

Happy Planning Everyone !!:grouphug:

Hiya everyone, :wizard:

EE22 & Tomar, I can't believe you guys still watch illuminations. We haven't seen it in years. Not a big fan and hoping they change it soon.
We really liked the original, and never got into the "big world ball thing". I liked the lasers and each profile of each country. :confused3
Alright I will confess too that we are also not fans of fantasmic either. Even as much of a sorcerer mickey fan I am.
I miss Socery in the sky..... :sad2: :confused3

The plus to the above is: the wait for buses, boats, or monorails is always lighter if you leave as these are starting....

But, we always watch the water pagent & wishes. :woohoo:

I think the fp+ should be better this time, because I have time to rearrange dining if needed. Which I didn't get to do last time. We will see.
