June, July, August PLANNING thread

Hi Guys !!!
Packing and watching fireworks from our town Park which is behind our developement !!!...Not ANYTHING like the "World" but it is pretty !!!
MKY- I will bring pictures of the boys and PP of course...can`t wait to see you !!
Im on my way backwards with the prednisone....my face is beet red !!....ICK I hate this ....but I feel better.....(thank Goodness).....Im glad I went to the Asthma doc before we left !!!

EE22- WE`RE GUNNA MISS YOU FOR A WHOLE WEEK !! .....WE need pictures to hold us over !!!

TP2- You must be in Packing mode now ...I hope....you have 3 princesses to pack for !!

TP2: I would rather see you then your DH seeing Ireland, but my parents have taken a trip to Ireland twice and they said it is beautiful. My step dad is 100% Irish too. Besides her cruise up to Alaska, Ireland was the best trip ever for my mom. I believe that includes the trip to St. Bart's where my very rich uncle owns a Villa. That's where all of us should meet! It's amazing! His Villa is well stocked and with a housekeeper and car to drive!! A bed side tropical pool sounds like the ticket and it's the best price....FREE!

We land in about 12 hours.

Hi Everyone.

Looks like I missed EE22s departure. I hope she has a great trip.

Sorry to hear about everyone getting sick again. We have been cooler than normal and lots of rain but my problem has been headaches from the changes in pressure.

The one nice day we had DH took the garage keys with him so I could not ride the motorcycle to work.

Happy July 4th weekend everyone.

DD10 is now DD11 because her birthday was on the 2nd. We had her party yesterday. All went well.

I hope everyone has fun on your trip. I wish I were going with you but not this year I guess.

Candi, we will miss you this trip too. Everytime, we go by nickelodeon, I will ask bug if we should crash the gate.

Tomar, your weaning! Glad you got on them early. Hope your in tip top shape soon. I have sooooooooo much to do. Your an inspiration. I finally got down our suitcases.

TP2, we will miss you too. We where very close to meeting 2 years ago & its too bad things didn't work out. Maybe we will next august.

EE22, Sorry I missed your departure. Looks like your still stuck in the airport. She is being delayed. Hope things straighten out quickly. hope you have a great trip!

Bug, is having back issues. That needs to clear up quickly too. She pulled something. Good thing space mt. is closed.

We had a nice holiday. It rained and cloudy all day. Then after 8pm it started to clear > and the fireworks all over started. And yes, illegal in illinois.

WEll....EE22 is almost at the world by now....and Ive been doing last minute things around the house all day......cleaning , cooking (DS came over for Meatballs and Macaroni )....more cleaning ....LOL
MKY-...Im so happy that I went to the Doc when I did...I am almost finished with the prednisone, but I have alot more antibiotics to take..,I`ll probably finish them just before we leave !!
Im sooooo sorry about Bug`s back...I hope she is soon on the mend so she can enjoy her time in the world ....sending Pixiedust to you Bug !!
Our DDIL is not feeling well at all this time around in her first trimester ....looks like we are gunna see the princess around thanksgiving if DDIL is up to it..
Hey......Have you guys read about the accident with the Monorails at Disney last night !!.....One of the CM`s was killed when another monorail jammed into it at 2 in the morning !!..My heart goes out to that young boy (only 21) and to his family as well

I got cancelled from work today and am on call till 3pm. So not much going on.

MKY: I hear you about the packing and getting paperwork together. I keep telling myself it is not until the end of the summer but it will be here sooner than I think.

Prayers for Bug. Hope her back gets better everyday.

I would love to hear more about the Bounceback. Is it for next year or just for the fall? I want to make sure I find out if there is something available for next summer. Takes so much of the stress away.

Tomar: So happy you are feeling better. Sorry about DDIL. Not fun to be sick when pregnant. I was always very lucky but I watched my sister suffer. She does not want anymore kids right now. She can't imagine going through it again.

Candi: I know how hard it is to not have a trip in sight but I will say that this year has flown by. I can't believe we are so close to going back again now. As long as there is something to plan (even if it is a year or so in advance) it takes the sting away.

tp2, the bounceback this far is only thru 09' I asked for next march too. Hopefully in october it will be out for that. Doubtful, but maybe?

Looks like they re-opened monorail. That was very sad. I recongnized the cm from his picture. Seems they have passed the inspection & already added new safety measures. Still not sure what happened. Just sad, for family, & all involved.

Hiya Tomar!


Working on some numbers for October using the bounceback. Looks like BLT 1br mkv 12 nites and 2 nites somewhere else [at start] is close to the same price as cr mkv tower. Can't seem to reach a decision on which one to choose.

CR tower = we know it, been there / done that. Closer to main pools, marina, monorail, shops and resturants. Great views. Quiet rooms.

BLT = Need 2 days somewhere to start > so will have to move. The unkown. Not sure floor / view. Says mkv, but not sure if they mean dead on or side? Which floor? Would not want to be on second floor by parking lot looking at trees in front of mk. Or on the outer curve looking to left at mk? Not sure of pool size, crowd, noise. But you get a brand [almost] new room, whirlpool tub, extra bathroom, kitchen, more private balcony, laundry, less luggage. Walk to main building / etc..

I think I am leaning towards BLT. We can try 2 days somewhere we wanted to try? Any ideas?
