Woo Hoo!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:
Have a great trip everyone!!!:yay::yay::yay:

Tomar: This whole car rental thing is driving me batty!!! You change the time by a little and the price changes by a ton. I cannot even remember what codes I am using. I just keep plugging things in but never see the same number. Seem to do best with Alamo. But I have tried AAA, Costco, Entertainment, BJ's, think that is it. Just know I am spending more time on this than any other part of the trip:surfweb: Hope you are doing better. pixiedust:

Hi TP2- OOOOOO Trust me, Im rowing in the same boat !! ugh ! :confused:
I have come to the conclusion that we are not going to see the cheaper prices we used to ....and for that reason, (after stalking every car rental site for the last 2 weeks)...we went with National (on the EA).....the ressie is alot more then we usually pay,but I had to start somewhere, and hope that prices come down by the beginnng of Aug .We`ve NEVER EVER waited this long to make a car rental ressie, it was also driving me Crazy !!!:crazy: (and still is alittle, because I am hopeing against hope the rates will fall again....but not counting on it....so Im glad I have a ressie at least !:goodvibes
I will let you know if rates drop again, and pleeeeeeease, can you do the same for me ??!! :angel:

RHMH- HOPE YOU GUYS ARE ALL READY FOR THE "WORLD"....12 MORE DAYS !!!

EE22- Hope you guys enjoy the summer, we all will be living vicariously through you , when its time for you to visit your mousehouse !!!! :cloud9: :tinker:

Tomar: I just booked through AAA using costo codes. Know what, not sure if I used costco codes because I also used the entertainment book for discounts. AAA lets you add several codes and shows you the best price. Not great. I paid $167 for 4 days, intermediate car. But with Alamo I read that the smallest they have is a full size so to save a few dollars book intermediate. The other reservation I have was for the same 4 days but the price was $117 for a full size car. That is a meal for us! I will keep checking. Booked the last one Monday night of last week. Guess $117 is better than I thought. I decided that I would rather stay at ASMu on arrival night instead of the Hyatt at the airport. Otherwise I would be done with this whole mess. Need a car big enough to get our luggage from WL to RP.:scared1:

With our luggage and the 4 adults for us...a full size is a trick but it can be done. Make sure you remember that when you are packing and taking carry ons. We have to drive to Midway too so holding suitcases in our Mazda6 for 5 hours wouldn't be much fun either:faint:

I just saw your post on the Transportation board TP2- August Car Rental- I am subscribed to it as well :goodvibes....we will keep watching it , but honestly, Im not even sure some of these folks are giving the right info, (except mabe a sudden rate drop, which we`re hoping for), because I cannot seem to find a ressie that compares to one of thiers. Unless they made their ressies when I didn`t notice a major drop, I cannot match any of theirs ..(ours is much more, but I should add that we are renting for more days as well)...however... some of them rented minivans...:eek:
We`re using the Entertainment 30.00 off coupon for National as well as the EA..."Rent a mid-size...Pick up whatever is on the EA Aisle"......So unless the prices come down to EARTH :rolleyes2 (from now until we leave...I may stick with this one .....

We leave in 3 hours for our 1300 mile, crossing 5 states, adventure to CSR!

Just waiting for momma to get off work is killing two little girls!

How many hours of driving is that anyway???

Oh My!!!! I would make my DH CRAZY if we were in the car for that long!!!

How much longer.....are we there yet.....can you drive faster.

Made it! YEPPIE

Total drive time including stops for gas and food, 21 hours.
Total time dad was driving, 19 hours.
Total time dad was awake 36 hours!

Check in to Courtyard by Marriot and then got some dinner at Bahama Breeze near the hotel. Then crashed out til this morning and drove around Orlando seeing this and that before chekcing in to Coronado Springs.

Just watched one of the most amazing Firework shows I have ever seen from our room!

Tomorrow is Magic Kindom

Hope everyone had a safe 4th of July!

Well we made it back. :sad1:

The good:
CR was wonderful. Great view of the most amazing fireworks! I totally agree. :thumbsup2 Our room was ready at check in at 10:30am. {6/23}
Parks where crowded but manageable. Even the brazilan teen's and our cheerleaders all seemed in smaller, better managed groups.

The bad:
Hmmmm, not much > remember your at wdw. ;) :confused3
We had a wayyyyyyyyyyy over worked waitress cm at Tony's. That was kinda interesting.
Driving anywhere for the 11 nites > off property was dangerous and insane. I have NEVER seen so many accident's and near misses before. Just crazy and unsafe. Just backed up terrible traffic too.

The Ugly:
EASY >>>> WEATHER. Ugh. Rained and then Rained some more. Our 1st 3 days where sunny with rain in evening. Then it would be sunny in am {sometimes} or just be totally overcast and rain off and on ALL day.

Happy 4th of July!

RMHM, have a great trip.
Tomar, get busy :laundy: get those suitcases!
EE22, we will have to pick a date. :cheer2:
TP2, pixiedust: We missed august weather. :rolleyes1

mky :wave2:
