Hi Everyone

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Sorry I have been away, it is my fiscal year end at work, so I have been tired every night.

I hope everyone had a good time with family and shopping. I hope the stores manage to hit the black this weekend.

I hate the Walmart price matching....at least here....you have to take the ad to the customer service desk and they call the store to make sure they have stock before they will match the price. By the time they are done, I could have driven there bought the darn thing and used it. It is not worth the effort.

Christmas is fast approaching now!

Dear kitty is doing okay. I little first aid and he was feeling better in a couple of days, but he does have one spot that is forming a lump under the skin...it is hard to get the puncture wounds clean. I will see if I can clear it up and if not, off to the vets.

The economy is very scary right now, and you never know what will happen from day to day. So far we are still working with the reduced staff we have and taking a longer break at Christmas. What can you do.

Our trip is coming up fast but I have to get through Christmas before I get out the suitcases.

The sun is setting here and outside the home office window is a very pink sky behind the dark, bare tree trunks...very pretty.

Wow that airfare I found $79 out and $29 back is amazing!!!! We cancelled our Xmas trip as I have to go to Europe for work but now I'm thinking it may be back on if only for a short quick trip...... I'm off to try to find your code

BTW - Have you ever flown into Sandford before? We normally fly into MCO.

I saw that Air Tran has $61 flights out of Moline on 12/25 and $79 flights on the way down on the 19th and 20th.

Yes...I did. I put in the 20th-24th again and got $210.
You might want to try calling and see what they have.
Riverside was available as well and the values too.

I just checked those dates again using the DMK (public code) and it came up as $270 again.... I wonder what I'm doing wrong???? Did your come up courtyard view?

I reserved Standard View and those are more limited. However, when I put it in this morning...Stand View did come up.
You may have to call. AKL didn't come up at all and it was available over the phone.

mky......I have the answer to your ticket upgrade question too. With all this going now and didn't know we were going now...aps would be more cost effective for us. At least that's the way I am leaning right now.

They scan your tickets and see what's on them and then you pay the difference between that amount and the amount of an annual pass. Although you'll be paying the increased ticket price, you would still put the ticket to good use.

I have two hoppers with options and the lady said that if we don't use the options, we can get a regular ap and don't have to buy the pap.

PAP is 135 more than an AP...not sure the boys would visit Quest that much. I'm still deciding on that one. I have some old Quest tickets too. They probably will not go there in Dec when we are there since it's only 4 days.

That's the $60 difference.... it's only come up courtyard view. We have been spoiled by the courtyard view on our last trips so we may go ahead and just book it - kind of an early Xmas present We need to be back home by Xmas eve so the rates and the times on Allegiant work perfect Now to see if I can work out the other details

I agree but mom likes to relax more than the parks so she spends quite a bit of time on the balcony... Still trying to work out the details but we are going to try to go

Question on Sanford.... As the flight gets in so late what type of transportation do you use? We normally rent a car but National is closed when we get in....

We use Alamo and they said they would stay there till all flights arrived.
I asked because this summer we arrived at 10:30 pm.
