:goodvibes Yes, but Tomar...I am American Indian...and a bunch of other stuff as well....

Full breeds of Italians in the Tomar household !:goodvibes
I have to hand it to your ansestors though EE22 (the American Indian ones).... for being the first of all the Americans.... truely !:worship:

Hiya everyone,

Well my long weekend is almost over. Back to regular work tommorrow. It sucked having to do call on my long weekend, but better > I got it done and don't have to do next week.:thumbsup2

We just got home, went and saw the new James Bond movie. Was ok, but bug, loved it. Its her thing, not mine. I want to see Bolt on friday:wizard:

EE22, Your bringing back memories of my lab classes. They would hand out the brains, hearts, eyes, you name it > and we worked on them and got to bring them home for more work. I would put them in the fridge with DON'T EAT THIS pinned on them. :rotfl: The formaldhyde was terrible.
American indian, now that is very impressive. :wizard: Thanksgiving should be a big holiday for you.

Look out, it is snowing here today. 1st time, driving the bug, in the snow.:scared1: Now, I miss my 4 wheel drive. Oh well, will take some time getting used to it.

Anyone, hear anything new on the adr's? Or, got some insider info for a car rental?

Happy monday & happy planning, mky:cutie:

mky....they have worked on cats and then a brain last week.:scared1: brings back my college days as well. I'm really a medical technologist you know:confused3 Glad your long weekend is over now!

Snowing here too:guilty: is your car a stick? I liked driving a stick in the snow...shifting was easier than breaking and sliding I always thought.

Haven't heard anything about ADRs or car rentals. Mine went down a tab, but not much and still 100+ more than last summer:confused:

hiya EE22, no my car is automatic. Never learned a stick. Always wanted to. Are you using alamo again? Not sure why the cars are so high. Think, with ME lots of people are not even renting.

mky:cutie:

DH taught me how to drive a stick, but with the kids we have automatics again. I miss it though in the winter.

Yes, Alamo. Sanford is always higher at first and I didn't get a great deal until late June. I used the last minute hot deals and checked about 2 weeks before we went. And, the base rate now is lower, it's all the taxes, etc that are higher.

Hi Everyone: Boy, I missed a lot.

Tomar: Yes, we had a nice weekend. The weather was terrible. We drove in all that rain. Got home late Sunday afternoon and we were shot. Kids were late for school Monday. Almost missed the bus. No one could move butg the reunion was fun. The kids had a ball. It was the Italian side of the family but there were too many of us. They catered the party.

MKY: Glad your long weekend is over. It got cold here but no snow. Thank goodness. Saturday was so hot, not kidding, that everyone was sweating at the party with the windows open.

Also have not heard anything about car rentals. SW is having a winter sale. From LI to MCO, $74 each way. Not bad. I have $1000 budgeted for the family and it came to $850 so we would save a bit.

EE22: Sorry to say that the malls and stores here are very busy. Not sure if anyone is buying anything but people are out and the stores are a mess. No parking either.

Hope everyone has a great day. Have to reinstate our trip insurance.

Hi Guys !:goodvibes

TP2- Glad you had a good time in our neck of the woods ..we did also....but the rain was terrible !! took us 2 hours to get home !!:scared1:

MKY- I never learned stick shift either .... brake....gas....two feet thing wasn`t gunna work for me. ..my Uncle tryed to teach it to me waaaaaaaaaaay back when I was getting my license...and I just kept bucking the car like a bronco !!:rotfl:
Give me the AUTO-Mat-IC !!!:lmao:

EE22- I just knew you were the bestest driver !!:flower3: ....Even the Stick shift !!!!!......YOU GO GIRL !!!!!:cheer2:

Welcome TinkAsh2001- :goodvibes
Congrats on your upcoming wedding !!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Maybe that's why I like corn so much and my favorite dinner is Thanksgiving.:rotfl:

EE22 - :lmao: that was the best one I have heard in a while. My brother belives in the native beliefs (religion some would say). I like to kid that he has "gone Native". It is a great belief system and very healing. He has some of the greatest stories (or teachings) I have ever heard in a belief system. Our ancestors (my dad's side) were Viking and came to the East coast long before Columbus sailed. So basically I glow in the dark even at the end of summer. :lmao:

MKY - you need to get out and practice driving in the snow where you can hit the breaks hard and get use to the handling. Remember that front wheel and rear wheel and four wheel all have different ways of being handled in the skids and such.

Hiya everyone!:yay:

Wow, it was 40 here today, but only 67 in orlando! Yikees, that is why I like 2 weeks at a time. If a cold front or rain comes through, >> the next week might be better.:confused3

I got my outside christmas stuff up. Just put up a couple of things. It is too cold here, when you try to take it down > January. My large mickey and minnie light ups, santa, and bows and bells scattered. Didn't do the lights in the bushes this year.

No energy, On my nebulizer the last couple of days. Trying to fend this off before I get sicker.:scared1:

Candi, did you get any lake effect snow off of lake michigan? It looked like it went half way throught michigan > and northern indiana. Good thing we live on the west / south side of the lake. It was really brutal. I will practice my driving.

EE22, that is impressive, coffee and a stick. Trying to think how that would of worked in my boot. :dance3: Dangerous enough driving an automatic a couple of blocks.

As for the rental cars, my national one for march, is about 20.00 cheaper than last august.:confused3 Guess, I should be happy.

TP2, & Tomar, Your still getting rain? Hasn't rained here for quite a while. Guess, we had to much this summer. Well, it won't be long before a north easter....... .:scared1:

TinkAsh2001, nice to meet you, congratulations.

mky:cutie:

Good evening ladies..MKY - the snow we recieved was probably the outside edge of the storm.* We had a small white out on the way to the mall for boots.
It did not stay long but the temp here have been in the low 30s the past few days.

Poor kitty (Marty) got in a cat fight last night...he is looking better tonight than he did this morning.

Hi Everyone::goodvibes

MKY: Hope you are feeling better. We are on the marathon now called the holidays. I am shot and still need to get through this week and then Christmas. I am jealous that you got your outside stuff up. It is now FREEZING here. I have most of my shopping done. I started early but then stopped because I booked the hotel for next summer. We have to pay for it by December 15 so the timing is not the best. But I will be happy when it is paid for.

Candi: Hope your cat if feeling better. Your trip is coming closer now! Have fun planning.

Hearing more and more about the buses getting worse. Maybe I will look into car rentals after the holidays. You guys have to keep me in the loop with discounts.

Hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving and stays WARM! It is freezing here.:scared1:

Hiya everyone,

Still sick. Weird on my asthma drugs.:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: Been home a few days, being ill > and will be off till tuesday, at least for now. Not sure if the cure is helping, or side effects are worth it. Went to my asthma specialist on friday. He said, I was in season. We need to be more aggressive in the fall, for prevenitive meds.

Candi, sorry about your cat, hope he pulls through. :flower3: :cheer2: :flower3:

TP2, will do about the car info. Do you have flights yet? So you can figure your time. I like to rent a car early, and then adjust them for a better price. Let me know, I will share some codes, I work with.

EE22, sorry about the snow too. It is cold here too.

FYI, if anyone has a dish satalite or cable, that picks up chicago's channel 7 WLS, ABC > at 6pm central time>> the magnificent mile light parade, with disney characters and mickey is the grand ceremony leader, he does the lights. It is a pretty neat day up there. All day, they do festivities, for christmas and tie in disney everywhere. I guess chicago, is one of their biggest markets. We went a few years ago and froze. But, I usually work this weekend, so we haven't been able to go. At least I will get to watch it on tv.

Happy weekend everyone, thanks for the well wishes. mky:cutie:

Good Morning Ladies !:goodvibes

Some of the Asthma meds I take give me the same reaction....especially the Albuterol !!...I had to change it to Xopenx (and the baby doses to boot:guilty: )...or I`d be a mexican jumping bean all day !! :headache:

EE22- WE haven`t seen snow yet....But the way the cold has set in here in the east coast...if it clouds up ....It`s gunna come down in the form of the white stuff for sure !!
