Hiya everyone!

EE22, that is a great idea. But sis and I have very different book taste. Might have to put her to sleep first. We have plenty of disney cd's [thanks candi] and I purchased the sirrus radio for the vw > there are hundreds of stations there. And always perfect radio disney anywhere.

We are purposefully coming back earlier to recover from the drive home. Going your so excited and raring to go> coming home different story.

Tomar, Tree houses are sooooooooooooooo cooooooooooooooool. I remember seeing them from the river [pors] and going by thinking: what a waste. I want to stay there. I agree, I remember being at PORS {then dixie landings} thinking "we are so far out and away from everything. Now, its in the middle.

MKY- Im sooo curious to see how the Tree Houses are gunna play out ...I mean in the respect of ....the folks that rely on Disney Transportation to get around (no car)...Will there be Main Roads leading to the Treehouses ?...Will there be Bus Stops for Disney Buses to take guests without a car to the parks and such ?......
Im hearing that the point value for the treehouses are gunna be as a 2 bedroom accommadation at Saratoga Springs....Not quite sure if that is just a rumor... or a fact ...but Im watching as this all plays out for sure !!

Tomar: Your DH sounds exactly like mine. He drives until he gets there. Makes me crazy though. He makes me pack a cooler for the car because he won't stop for food. I would rather drive for 8 hours, stop and spend the night or at least eat a meal and then get back on the road. I agree, the way home would be torture. I just got a SW ding for $89 each way. Would be $1000 round trip for all of us but worth it. I can't believe I am happy about that price. In 2005 that was the highest price I would see and we would never have paid that. We instead paid $44 each way. Can you believe it. Crazy how times have changed.

Ya know Im not a fan of flying....but once you`ve driven to WDW with MY DH.......it brings a whole New Meaning to......"DAPLANE" !!
DH is the original "Commando Road Navigator"....

I used to ask for a "Nature call stop"...just to stretch my legs !!
I know that the price of flying to the world has increased enormously...but....haveing to travel to the world with my DH in the car ......Im going for Broke !!!!!!!!!!!! ......

Tomar, Since they will charge for a 2 br. do you get a jaccuzzi tub and the washer, dryer too? I have not seen these options in the literature so far.

Tomar: I think we married the same man! DD4 started telling us she needed to go potty so we would stop. You can't say no to a 4 year old that says she needs to go NOW!

MKY: It was a hypothetical Ding! They only released travel until the beginning of March and the Ding! was for dates in November. It is just nice to know that they do exist and we are not destined to pay $400 per person to fly. We may have needed to rethink our plans.

Hi everyone

I am under 100 days now. We are at the 98 mark. In a bit over a week we can select our seats for outbound.

What a rough week at work so far. And the weather has been beautiful and I have been missing it. I am also trying to get our house back in order. I have discovered that will all the overtime at work for the last year or so, I have not been keeping up on the clutter and it is even worse than it looks.

I have spent way too much time on it and you can hardly even tell I have started. It does not help that DH is tuned out and apparently has been for over a year or it would not have gotten this bad.

I need a Disney fix so bad right now. I think I will check out Tour Guide Mikes and see what I can plan.

I know there will be a laundry room ...there was one when we stood there long ago....so Im sure of that....The Jaccuzzi...Im not sure of....
But if the Treehouses are having the usual DVC layout....it must be haveing one ...wouldn`t you say ?

When we stayed there ....waaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the `80s...it was far removed from everything...and you really needed a car to get around.....BUT....
I believe (from what Im reading )... the "NEW" Treehouses will have all the modern anemmities...with bus stops and roads, and I believe, even thier own POOL !

Good Morning Ladies !
Well ....we are sort of "Drowning" here in New Jersey....How`s thing`s out in Long Island today TP2?
I couldn`t sleep listening to the Monsoon like rain hitting our windows......umm......the windows I just finished cleaning this week...ugh
Mr. Tomar has a bad cold and Ive been spraying lysol around the house so no one else gets it...but....I doubt if we`ll escape the sniffles as the germ is here in Full bloom !!!
I`ve been thinking about the ADR situation now that im trying to plan days for our next trip.... and hope that by the time we have to call.....the system will be back to the 180 days and with no problems
I told Mr. Tomar about the new name for the DDE Card....."Tables in Wonderland".......he just looked at me and said...... "Im not saying that".!!....

Tomar, sorry about the rain. seen the national weather looks bad out there. I feel guilty it is sunny 54 > 80.

Make a big pot of chx soup. And don't underestimate the power of the sinus flush. Hope everyone (else) stays healthy.

Tomar: We have the same husband and the same weather. My DH would not say Tables in Wonderland either. I was also up all night listening to the rain hit the house. Thank goodness we got that new roof last year! I got the cold. Every one of the kids has a cold or sore throat. I have been spraying the Lysol too, every day. Too many boogie kisses I suppose. I can't say no though so I will have to suffer.

MKY: Good luck on Chef Mickeys. Can you believe we have never been. We were supposed to go last year and DD9 got sick. We had 2 adrs and both had to be cancelled.

I got an e-mail this morning from WDW. They offered the 3 digit code but I think that is a gp code. $59 per night at a value resort through December. I am happy I am getting e-mails from Disney though. Funny thing, my sil has a trip planned for the dates in another code and I called her to tell her to apply the discount. She was told that it is sold out, then I get an e-mail for the exact same dates. Seems like there are more than 5 codes out for the same time period. I wonder if they are releasing a certain number of rooms under a code and then filling them and sending a new code with another limited amount of discounts. I bet the hotels have space it is just the discounts that are sold out.

Yep- we have the same DH alright !! .......After he said he wouldn`t say "Tables in Wonderland"....he said when the server asks what plan we`re on....he`s gunna just "POINT TO ME" and Im supposed to say it !!!

Sorry about your weather too TP ....this weekend is supposed to be a "rain out"...and Our town here in New Jersey is haveing thier annual "Day"....rides for the kiddos in the park..and food and such.....just like the "Block parties" in New York....but ...Im wondering if they might cancel..or postpone it due to the weather !
About the code- mabe you could call and find out for yourself if the discount was sold out...if you just got it...and you tell the cm the date that you got it......I would assume that your intitled to the discount !!

As much as Im looking forward to calling on our "Call date" ....I know your right and it`s gunna be .................scarey !
We are supposed to be able to do our ADR`s via the internet when all is said and done with the new system also...but..... I prefer to do it on the phone....I feel like my ressie is being confirmed, ... by... another ......Real.....person !!

Hi everyone.

Sorry to hear everyone is having bad weather and only MKY and I had a nice day today.

I worked a short day today and was able to enjoy the day a bit. The kids had the day off school for teacher development so it was nice to be home for part of it.

I hope everyone's weekend dries out.
