Does not seem to be an advertised discount though. I also wonder if that is the only property with a discount and free dining. I would put up with the construction in the lobby to stay there with a decent rate AND free dining. 
And a well kept secret.Shhhhh................. Large rooms, great location, because of the convention center > it got the reputation for adult themes. But we have always been a fan. We have been twice through the construction in the last 2 years. The new store on the 4th floor last year, was noisy during the day. Started about 9am and till about 5pm. This year with the resturant, on the 4th floor. Now they really did not affect the rooms in the garden at all. But the pool construction could be right outside your window. Not sure how bad that would be. If they tear up the concerete it will be bad, but if they are just re-planting, or doing something on the beach > might not be bad. I would not consider changing if they kept at least 1 pool open. Don't really want to get on the monorail to go to the pool.
The new building, virtually has had not effect or noise that bothered the tower or garden, or even pool area.

Toy Story Midway Mania Single Rider line gone
The Single Rider Line at Toy Story Midway Mania at the Disney Hollywood Studios has been discontinued. No word on whether this is permanent or just temporary. Guests have the option of Standby or grabbing a FastPass.
I think single rider lines should be on everything.

And why close both pools at once? Doesn't make sense. If they keep the dock open > then there would be a possible walkway to the round quiet pool. There is no room out there to plant trees or redo the pool deck. Unless they scrap the entire thing. But for what purpose. Guess, we will have to wait and see. Sis wants to stay with CR. If you see anything, let me know. 
Maybe to sleep for the night will be not as bad too. But then if AKV are going for $580 per night then BLT will probably be closer to $700 right? Isn't that kindof what the points work out to? That is a fortune for a room to sleep in. There is no way they can charge that much. Even $580 per night is scary. I like $82 at the values. With the airlines charging what they are these days we may have no choice but to stay value.
Too bad we all didn't fall in love with some really cheap vacation ideas. Maybe we should look into a tent at fort wilderness. [can you tell, i have never camped]

What are we going to do now with flights being so expensive. I though $1000 in the budget for plane tickets was a lot but now I am rethinking that. They only have a schedule until early March right now so I guess I am just going to have to wait for SW like I am waiting for Disney.
But the savings will have to be worth it. Or at least that is what I am telling myself.

....I just remember after enjoying ourselves @the world for 2 weeks....I was soooooooooo NOT ready for the trip back home in the car again..... 
They were better when they were little...more entertainable at that age. We listend to books on tape. Thomas the Tank Engine, Richard Scarry.... Disney songs...one summer our theme was the Mulan soundtrack. Whenever I hear "Let's get Down to Business" I think of that horrid trip I had along I-80 near Chi Town where I got stuck for 4 hours and drove 5 miles.
