Tomar...it's the dust inside I'm worried about.

I'm behind again with all these posts and it's late on a Sunday and I have to go do "stuff". Will get caught up again soon....have a good week everyone!!

raining again here:rolleyes:

EE22 pixiedust is more POWERFUL than that dust !!! :goodvibes
It`s gunna work :flower3:

TP2- Cool link...thank you for posting it !! Alot of new info on that page !

It was 89 degrees here in NY yesterday. But not a nice day, gray and overcast, sticky and humid. Better than rain though, no offense. Crazy weather this year.

EE22: I hope I never see you on CNN.:rotfl: That heater has GOT to work. We are supposed to get Fall weather next weekend. So the shorts can start getting packed up.

Tomar: DD4 loves to sing too. I understand how cute it is. Even when she does not know the words, she will hum along. She especially loves Hannah Montana though. That is really funny to hear.:scared:

MKY: I am shocked by all that noise, even if it does not interfere with sleep, it is still not what I want when I spend that much money on a hotel room. Did they do upgrades at least? I would think that is the least they can do. Discounts at the Cont are not exactly abundant.:rolleyes1

Hope everyone has a great week. Another busy one here for me.

TP2- Ditto for New Jersey yesterday...Fhew  ....it was Hot Hot Hot....I`m not complaining mind you...rather have summer ... then ......the dreaded...."W" word ! :scared1: LOL
DD4 must sound sooooooooooo adorable singing Hanna Montana !! Does she sing...."Ya get the bestttttttt of both worlds".......LOL...that is soooooooooo cute !!.....:cloud9:
the Perfectly Princess is singing songs from her favorite Movie "Lady and the Tramp"...as well as nursery rhymes right now....I get such a kick out of her singing to me..... princess: :cloud9: princess: :cloud9:

EE22- the "Heater better work" squad is in action !! :thumbsup2...we`re all giving it the good vibes ! :goodvibes

MKY :cutie: - Looks like the contemp is gunna be in the construction mode for a long while yet !...Are ya thinking of a "Plan B" ?

Happy Plannng everyone ! :woohoo: ...
Hope the coming week is going to be a great one for all !:grouphug:

MKY...your home away from home was announced today:cutie: And the price is not out of sight like the rumors!

Now...you'll have to decide if you want to buy DVC:goodvibes

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1DV6r1Nk54

Here is the UTube site they sent out in email today.

It is a very cute video.

The rooms on the DVC web site look really small. I am sure we will want to stay there but I am not so sure we will buy in. Maybe we will go and see the model homes but based on the site, they are too small.

:yay: Hi everyone!

Candi, thanks for the link. & EE22, It looks exciting. We would love to buy in, but with just my salary probably won't happen. We want to move in a few years to florida, so probably don't want to get locked into something long term. :confused3

Tomar, a newsletter just stated that SAB is down from Jan > april so there goes plan B. Not sure what we will do. For what it is worth: disney wrote back today and said, no plans for pool area at this time..... . We will see if that last.

There is info on Deb's site: www.allearsnet.com with info on the tower & the tree houses:yay: (TP2, they sleep 9) Info is on the front page with link.

Did you guys read about the "Four Seasons" on property. That should be interesting. popcorn:: $$$$$$:scared1:

Well, we will keep watching and see what happens.

mky:cutie:

Good luck with your decision mky...I guess that's one down side to going when it's not hot...they fix the pools. Would you use it that much during that time? I don't know what the weather is like. We were there a long time ago in Feb and it was very cold and we never hit the pool. The weather at Christmas time was perfect for park touring that's for sure.

I wish we could go at a different time...like for a Halloween party.

I understand about not wanting to get locked in. I have 12 years before I can retire so bring on DVC:woohoo:

MKY: I can just imagine how expensive the Treehouses will be.;) If they sleep 9 probably like $3k per night:rotfl2: We will stay at the values unless they give us a free upgrade.:goodvibes I am not counting on that though so I have given up the search.

I agree with EE22. I was at WDW in February and it was cold. I sat in my bathing suit at the pool with goose bumps all over but I had to get some color.:rotfl:

Candi: Love that link. I want to spend some time exploring other things that had been posted. Some more Disney fun!

Tomar: Cooled off a lot here. Yesterday was so hot we had every AC on full blast and today everyone wore a sweatshirt. Crazy weather.

Have a great week everyone.:flower3:

TP2- Us tooo.....today was cool....I wore a sweater and jeans.....yesterday I wore shorts and flip flops ...I had a feeling the weather was gunna change ................overnight !

EE22- Im with you about DVC.....don`t see us moving to Florida anytime soon.....soooooooo Thank Goodness for my DVC :flower3:

MKY- Great Plan ! ....I wish all your dreams come true....You`ll be in the warm weather all year round if you move to Florida.....
But....I agree with the other ladies...we also were in the world in Feb....and it was COLD on that trip:cold:....You know how Mr. Tomar lovvvvvvvves to stay at the pool........Not that time !!!!

WE got the E-mail with the U-Tube video as well....Im sure I saw that Lady at MGM in the Streetmosphere shows !!! :hippie:

Happy planning everyone !!! :goodvibes

Not sure if anyone saw this but they are offering free dining to Disney Visa cardholders for dates through December. It is looking better every day for decent codes to come out for next summer.:cheer2:

Hiya everyone,

We have been at wdw in oct, nov, dec and then march, and april. We always use the pools. Guess its our northern blood. ;) When we go it will be the last 2 weeks in march and hoping we can use the pools a day or 2:wizard: Probably not looking for blizzard beach, but the pool during the warmiest part of the day.:confused3

tp2, Sorry, :upsidedow I really wish they would stick with room deals & stop the free dining. It really is not that great with just 2 of us. And it makes all the food places nuts. :scared1: That is really the reason we didn't go later in august. But, I do hope your get a great deal or something.:wizard:

It has been in the 70's here and we are officially a flood, disaster area too. Declared yesterday. From all the rain, and over flooded rivers etc.. . this weekend. Lots of roads still closed. Its a mess. We are lucky, our area is ok. And less than a mile to the hospital so work is ok too.

Have a great wednesday nite, mky:cutie:

MKY :cutie: ....YIKES  ...Is this the reminants of "IKE" that you guys are getting ?:scared1: ....Im sorry about the floods ....OH MY.....:sad2:
But...Im happy that you guys are OK and that you weren`t affected personally
Be safe !!

mky...been watching all the rain you're getting and the rivers overflowing. Not a happy time that's for sure. Glad you are okay as well.

Perhaps when we were there that year in Feb it was an odd year too. We were only there once. It was in the mid 1980's so now with global warming I'm sure it's better.:lmao: I'm not a huge pool person anyway and I can't be in the sun like that or I get sick from headaches. I hope you figure it out...not fun at all.

I'm still struggling with what to do over the construction at AKV and Kidani done, but not done....

What is with the weather lately???

MKY: Being that we need 2 rooms at most resorts, free dining is not the best for us either but the dining plan would cost $1000 per week for our family SOOOOO it is still a huge savings. I played with the numbers last week and our best bet is to get a 40% off code and book 2 rooms at a value resort. I would love an Epcot Resort, BW, BC, or YC would all be wonderful. I am not even going Poly. All the MK resorts are way beyond our reach. I have a budget in my head and we would have to shorten our trip a lot to stay at a MK resort. With the 40% off we would not eat out as often and would probably end up sharing some meals and stuff. We really don't eat 5 full meals. I never realized it but we are not the biggest eaters (not that you would know from looking at us!). Spending time with other families lately has opened my eyes as to what other peoples kids can eat.

Bottem line is, any discount will be well appreciated.:goodvibes We cannot afford the dining plan unless it is free and we cannot afford to stay deluxe. I am hardly complaining because with all that is going on, we are lucky to have a stable job and a roof over our head. I still have not made a reservation though because I am holding out hope for an amazing code.:rolleyes1

I can keep rambling but I have gotta go do :laundy: !

Hi everyone

Well lots of basements flooded here this weekend.

MKY - I agree that there may be cool days and usually cool evening in Feb and March, it is WARM compared to the Great White North so we usually hit the pools for a bit if not every day.

I loved the tree houses. I liked seeing them on the boat from Port Orleans when they were building SSR. I guess I will have to find a "reason" to book into them. But they will probably be as many points as the Grand villas I bet. But it would be fun.

So much to do, so little money to do it, not enough vacation time to spare.

I hope the weather holds out for everyone. We got a break from the rain today. It was 74 degrees and sunny.

Not sure if anyone is paying attention to the free dining thread but someone got the Cont, garden view for $199 per night with free dining. Rack rate is $275 per night. That is crazy. Some resorts are discounted and others aren't. I can't wait to get closer to see what is offered for the summer.

I had a thought after you posted this TP2....I wonder if the values and mods will fill up more with the downturn of the economy? Seems odd that a deluxe is that cheap doesn't it?

Okay...help me out with dates...mostly you MKY since you are paying attention to when you can call dining again. I called to book a tour today, thinking that I couldn't with the system upgrades and I couldn't, but I did get a price, but they told me to call back at the end of NOV.

I thought it was to be done the end of OCT?:confused3

Hiya everyone,

EE22, maybe they think it will take longer than it is supposed too OR you got a cm, who was just telling you a late time to call back.:confused3 The cm I called for our adr's = told me to check back every couple of weeks, cause its is up sometimes and down sometimes, but not officially up totally.

WOW, that is a great price for CR & free dining. Still waiting to see if the pool is down. :confused3 and not sure what we will do.

****** There are shows RIGHT NOW on the travel channel about disney. Now through 9pm. The one on 8p>9p is about dvc, and new.******
