I didn't know that about National...good to know for future trips!! I didn't sign up for the National Emerald membership because it wanted the name, rank and serial numbers of my kids, DL #, and CC#. I didn't want to give all that to them, but maybe there is another way?

WL is awesome. Reminds me of Michigan :love:

of course, we go back way before you did. Someone really smart was on our calendar committee too and we made up our 6 snow days during the school year so we wouldn't get out so late either :cool1:

EE22: This is late, even for us. I can't believe you made up all those days during the year. How many snow days do they figure for? We only got one and used it for Memorial Day weekend. I would rather have school end earlier but that is me.

Since I've worked there, we've had one year in 22 that we haven't had any snow days :worried:

believe it or not, even though I hate snow days, it was a long year :rotfl:

We usually have 2 or 3. One year we had NINE! That was our first Disney trip in 2001. We had a week and a day after school got out before our trip and it turned out we got out the day before we left.

We figure in 3 into our calendar and we had another professional day in April that we took and turned into a student day and the teachers made it up at the end. The students were done Tuesday and we were done Thursday. We had two professional days at the end which many thought would be bad, but it actually turned out well.

We have the ability to make up a couple more in there too so I suggested that if December is bad, we should make up some in Jan before all the other opportunities are gone. I hope they listened.

As it turned out, all of the days we were making up school...the weather was horrible...rainy and cold. Bad winter, Bad Spring, Bad Flood :worried:

I go back August 14th though.

Tomar: Glad to here he is feeling better. Hopefully you will be germ free. You are a lot like me with germs. I am sure you are nervous this close to your trip. Stay healthy, take that vitamin c.

Mouseaddicts: I am okay with the Williamsburg part. I just bought our tickets for the week. Got a special, 20% off which saved almost $100. Pretty amazing considering how much everything is these days. I called Busch Gardens to ask questions and the backround music could have been from WDW. I just didn't listen to the words. Maybe this trip will be better than I thought.

2.5 hours to we head for the airport!

TP2: Our trips last summer were fun. You'll have a good time. It's possible to have fun besides at Disney World...it's just that Disney World makes you forget about the outside world.
