Awwwwwww...Thank You MKY....you are sooo thoughtful  .....but..HeeHee ;) ..Im not celebrating anymore birthdays ;) ....LOL...
As of last year....I started to go ....Backward in years !!:rotfl:
Glad that max is all ready for his trip to the world...after his shopping spree with his aunt this weekend !!:cloud9:
AND.....YES.... Im starting to get very excited ......VERY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay: :yay:

EE22- Congrats to the Kids for being # 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAAY !!!!!!!!!

Minnie, I know alot of people talk about these homes, and condos, and the prices are fabulous. But, Have you personally seen any of these homes, or the areas they are located? Think I would research it all out, for a future trip (you know there will be one), or make a split stay? Start at the house and then finish at a resort and compare which one you really liked better?:confused3

mky:cutie:

We stayed in Windsor Hills last July and had a wonderful stay :goodvibes The house this time is in Windsor Palms and looks awesome and gets great reviews here on the Dis :) Right now we are leaning on giving it a try. The extra savings would really be nice right now ;) And if life gets back to normal anytime soon the savings would pay for a quick trip later in the year :wizard:

We personally prefer the itzadoozie popcycles. ;) Congrat's to DS & DD on there great field events. Sure they will be throwing in college and Olympic's in no time. Are you packed yet?

mky:cutie:

DD does too!!!;) I can't eat the color though:worried: so I'll have to suffer with a Mickey bar. Thanks for the congrats :) I am packed...sort of...unpacking from today and moving things from one bag to another one:laughing: Glad you had a productive weekend with Max.

I cannot believe our trip is almost here...seems like forever ago when we started planning.

Three weeks for myself...and MKY....I never did put the suitcases away!:rotfl2: That is a first!

So excited for all of you that are leaving.:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

So I spent Saturday afternoon with DH cousin. She drives from here to Disney all the time and says that Disney is right around the corner from Williamsburg.:rotfl: She said we should recoup from the ride in Virginia and then push on through. DH said he figured I already had it all planned out already. We do have one day worth of tickets from last year and about $450 in points on my DV.:stir:

MKY: Glad you have Max taken care of. One more thing to check off your list. Now that I put that ticker up, I realize that I need to start packing. My mom thinks I should just hit DC too. I know everyone says it is beautiful but enough with the education.;) I want to play a little bit.

Minnie: I completely understand how you are feeling. Would you lose any money if you cancel at this point? I am assuming you have a room only reservation so you still have time to cancel. Honestly, I would save the $1000 but you have to add car rental into the equation. May not be too much savings in the end. In any case, you are going and will have a wonderul time.

DH is looking into Ipods as we speak. Need the docking station which doubles the price. Have a great day everyone.

TEN!!!
:dumbo: :dumbo: :dumbo: :dumbo: :dumbo: :dumbo: :dumbo: :dumbo: :dumbo: :dumbo:

We spent pretty much ALL DAY yesterday reviewing our itenerary .... specifically dining! :surfweb: The past 2/3 yrs, we've had the DDP, so I've never really worried about the specific cost per meal ..... this year, we aren't on the DDP, so when I figured out how much $$$ we were spending for food, I about had a heart attack! :faint: It was over $2,000!!!!! :scared1: That's just crazy ............

So, since we'll be in a 1BR villa for 7 nights (4 @ AKV & 3 @ BWV), we decided we will be doing several meals in our room! :thumbsup2 This will give the kids more pool time (which is their cheif complaint every year) and save us some serious CA$H!!! ::yes::

TP2 - I'm looking into the wegoshop option now. I found a thread where other DVC members posted their order lists to give me a general idea. I haven't decided yet if we will just bring the boxed items with us and hit the nearest grocery store for the refrigerated items OR place an online order for delivery. :confused3 Either way, I can tell you our family will be using that FULL KITCHEN that we pay for every month this year! ;)

Oh yeah ....... what's an itzakodoozie??? :confused3 DH & I saw these listed on one of the menus this weekend (I think it was the Fantasmic Refreshment stand  ), but we had no idea what they are. Are we missing something wonderful in the World???

EE22 & Tomar --- We're right behind you!!! :dance3: Have I started paking? Nooooooooooooooooooo :headache:

Where are y'all watching the July 4th fireworks? We're planning to hit the beach at the Poly! :thumbsup2

Candi - TP2 - MKY --- I love my ipod! I've been listening to the DIS Unplugged Podcasts & they are AWESOME! I HIGHLY recommend them if/when you do get any kind of MP3 player or iPod. They have 2 podcasts per week & they definitely entertain me on my way to work ... and I get a dose of Disney magic! :wizard: I've also started listening to the WDWRadio podcasts recently. He's good too! They are both VERY informative as well. :thumbsup2

itzakodoozie???
it's a frozen treat;)

TP2: I know how you feel with not going this year since we didn't go last summer. It's painful:worried:

Minnie...TP2 is right. Car rentals are really up in price now this close to trips. Mine was over $500 when I tired it again and Tomar's was sky high too.

Mouseaddicts: if you want a shopping service you better sign up...I guess they fill up FAST! We used wegoshop. TP2 highly recommends them and Marge is wonderful. When I called to give her my vitals, she asked how we were doing with the floods. Too sweet!!

I'm PACKED!

itzakodoozie...they are all over by the way...;)

I have DD's hand me down ipod and I bought a Tink skin from Disney online. I have the hang of the click wheel finally, but DD needs to move my music.

We have an AP rate room only ressie so as long as we cancel 6 days prior there's no cancelation penalty :thumbsup2

Ah thanks for thinking of me guys that's so nice! We always rent a car and got a great deal $100 for the week! If anyone wants details send me a PM and I'll give you the code - only issue - you must have National Emerald Aisle

Awwww.......DL11.....how wonderful of you !!!!!!!! :cloud9:
ROTFL...I have DS`s hand-me-down IPOD Nano TOOOOO !! ;) ....he put all my Disney CD`s on it ...I love it !...but.... I am haveing a hard time with the wheel ....I keep moving the songs :rotfl: ...DS promised a lesson on "IPOD 101"....(even though I suppose it is the easiest thing to work)...I seem to be IPOD challenged !! LOL LOL :rotfl: ...

:cool1: ALL PACKED HERE TOO !!!!!:cool1:

I was iPod challenged at first too .... :rotfl: BUT ... you get the hang of it pretty quick. Just keep fiddling with it! ;) I tell you, once I started listening to podcasts, I became an ADDICT quick!!! :hyper: Talk about a Disney Fix! :thumbsup2

Minnie --- Save the money. $1,000 is quite a bit. If you already have an AP, you won't have to pay to park at the Parks either, so you'll save that money too. The only thing you won't really get is the EMH, but the parks are open late to the public in July anyway .... best wishes! :wizard:

Hmmmm .... I guess we'll have to check into the itzakadoozies .... I'm sure this is something the kids will love! :goodvibes

I guess I get to start packing tonight, huh? :worried:
DD14 comes down this weekend, so I'll have to go thru her suitcase once she gets here. I know I have to take her shopping for a white sundress, so I'll only have a few days to get it! :headache: (for our photos @ the Poly) And, I haven't found DS a shirt yet :faint:

DH bought the Ipod today on his way home. Now we need a docking station but I said lets wait and learn how to use this first. Didn't think of the podcasts and stuff. I will end up owning that Ipod.:rotfl:

Minnie: I would make the move. You will save so much money and you have everything else taken care of. Have a wonderful trip.

Looks like we will all be off within the next 3 weeks. Happy packing everyone.:dance3:

How exciting - everyone is so close to their summer trips :cool1: :cool1:

itzakadoozie is a popsicle type frozen treat. It is long, curly and wonderful...it is a good value for the price too. But in the heat of summer, we share them so they don't melt all over.

We have been so busy with baseball, I hardly have time to check in. The All Stars will be starting in a week as well.

Tonight was the international fireworks show over the Detroit river. We are a city of 200,000 that has nearly twice that number in town with all the US residents that come over for the show. We have great park land that runs the length of the riverfront so a lot come over here for the event.

This is one of the best shows in the world. Other than the big shows at Epcot and MGM studios, we don't bother to watch the fireworks at Disney because they cannot compare to the multi million dollar show. Three bardges all sending up fireworks at the same time.....MAN WHAT A SHOW.

So if you ever get to Detroit/Windsor the last week in June, make sure you catch the show. :cloud9:

NINE!!!
:donald: :donald: :donald: :donald: :donald: :donald: :donald: :donald: :donald:

EE22 - you're rubbing it in .......... :rotfl:

Candi - Where are the PHOTOS of the fantabulous fireworks show?!? :confused3

(I've started packing) :p
