MKY: I did finally finish our itinerary. I deleted yours by accident. :headache: I will send you mine. We are going to Concourse Steak House on 8/28 for lunch before P&P. Hopefully we can catch up. :yay: If you still have the PM in your inbox, can you resend it? I can't believe what a ding bat I can be at times.:flower3:

Tomar: We talk a lot, huh? It felt like you were away forever. Glad your home. Thanks for the Specto info. I think I am going to find our cd from last year.:3dglasses

EE22: Stay away from that school...far, far away. You can torture yourself next week when your vacation is over.

Wow, I can't believe how the time has flown by. Good luck with the shoe issue MKY. It will be great because you'll be in the World.;)

TP2 I'll continue to gather info from my buddy that just left and went to the P&P Party last night.

Tomar, we'll have to hold down the Fort :goodvibes

EE22, Looks like your back at work tommorrow. Sorry. But that means you are working towards your trip.:thumbsup2 Hope the eye and your foot are in "working" shape now?

Tomar, Your trip reports are fabulous!:wizard: Your a great writer.:surfweb:

TP2, I still had my iternary from the PM's so I resent in to you. Looks like we will cross paths without too much planning.:thumbsup2

I cannot believe we are this close. still alot to do. princess: princess: princess:

I want to wish you both a proper send off tonight in case things get too wild here this week and next. I know you'll have a wonderful time.

The eye is doing well and the foot is so-so. I worry when I wear normal shoes. Perhaps I won't for awhile yet. I hope yours holds out MKY while you're gone.

Tonight I cut the strings on DS. He took his first solo drive up to the high school. I hope he stays safe:love:

ee22, thank you!:) Good for you, letting hime drive. My mom still freaks out when in my car. :confused3 And I have been driving for 30+ years.:rotfl2: Good luck in school, heres to a great year.:cheer2:

Yeah, my mom just gasps when she drives with me:lmao:

When we were in Chicago I was back to my old driving ways when I lived north of Detroit. WILD WOMAN on the road. DD was holding up a sign from the back seat that said, "I'm Scared." It's just not like it is here and especially when we didn't really know where we were going...flying across 5 lanes of traffic for an exit isn't my usual style around here. We only have two lanes on the interstate:rotfl:

Well, DS says I have some real unique students this year;) It's rather odd when they know who the kids are. I think I like going in blind at the beginning of the year. I'm so old now that half the time I can't remember what they tell me anyway:rolleyes:

When I was following DS up to the hs for his first solo drive, I could only wonder where the years have gone:hourglass

Be sure to stop and smell the roses, Ladies at WDW. Also, buy something with MGM on it since the name is going away.

MKY: I've got my notes here for ap rates too. Hopefully they will come out in the morning like they normally do and I can give you a ring.

party: MKY- HAVE A SAFE TRIP...AND A WONDERFUL TIME !!...I HOPE YOUR FOOT IS A NON-ISSUE ALL THE WHILE YOUR IN THE WORLD !!!! party:

TP2-party: YOU`LL BE LEAVING SOON TOO.....HAVE THE BEST TIME !!!party:

EE22- I`ll be here with yu holding up the fort....:goodvibes :flower3:

EE22: Oh, how scary. I think it is more of a milestone for us to live through these things (not that I am there yet) but just leaving the kids at a birthday party or a new friends house is scary to me. Glad you lived through it. Each time will get easier.

MKY: Got your itinerary, going to print it and put it in my paperwork. I have to start to pack. DH keeps telling me things I need to pack, gotta make sure I do it. Have a safe trip tomorrow, what time is your flight? Can't wait to catch up. I am sure we will this trip. I will definately look for you before the 28th but I think that is going to be our best bet. Can't wait.

Tomar: Thanks for the good wishes. It is getting so close now.

MKY:
Disney Visa Discounts are out. It's following the same pattern as last year.

Remember I called you about the DV deals when you were at WDW and you called CRO to find out about the deals and found out ap rates were out and you then called me. Did you follow all that?:rotfl2:

Anyway...I'm pulling for Wednesday before you leave:banana:

Tomar, Your trip reports are fabulous!:wizard: Your a great writer.:surfweb:

Im gunna print all my episodes out again...and leave them for the kids to read someday....as a reminder of "How much I loved......MY MOUSE HOUSE" ;) :mickeyjum

Have a WONDERFUL TIME !!!!!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

The boys go to Universal for usually two days and DD and I stay at WDW. They love it there and LOVE FOTL access...ride all day long as much as they want.

I'm hoping ap rates come out so MKY can forget about it and have FUN!!!

Well, DS went off to football alone. Very strange feeling. I'm really gonna miss our morning and after school chats with him driving himself:sad1:

Work was sort of wild this morning. 3 new people is going to keep me busy this year that's for sure!

Foot Doctor: Shots or surgery if things don't improve from where they are now. Time will tell with going back to work how I do. I wore my pedometer the one Sat when I went in and before I accidently reset it, I had walked over 3 miles and I still worked for another hour. I don't think my tennis shoes are gonna look real great with my dresses though:guilty:

Eye Doctor: Ulcer is gone:woohoo: 4 more days of drops 4 times a day, then 4 days of 2 times a day with drops. When I go to drop twice daily I can wear my contacts again:cheer2: I'll wait for the first day of school, but I'm happy about that. Okay...I've written down too so I'll remember ;)

Here comes Mickey for MKY and TP2::MickeyMo

Lots of packing done today. Not too much left for tommorrow. We fly on wed. the 15th. about 3:30pm chicago time. But it is supposed to rain all day tommorrow and wed. so hope we won't be delayed. :wizard: Will keep fingers crossed. The limo come on wed. at 12pm.

EE22, thanks for the heads up, and yes I can totally follow that.:confused3 We have been "talking" to long.;) It is just for packages now, so will definately not need tix, with our ap. so will keep watching for now.

As it stands right now, I am unsure about our nov / dec. trip. If we come back, and the "foot" thing is too much of an issue & / or depends what the md says next. :confused3 If I need surgery, or am off longer than we now plan, the trip will probably be cancelled. I have been told, this could be a life changing injury, and that the foot might heal and be ok or never be ok again. Which that large cut in pay for the school nurse job, might be more interesting? If I can't walk without pain > means I cannot work the job I have. Not good news. Desk jobs in nursing are few and far between. Usually needing advanced degree's.:rolleyes1

TP2, If our itinary overlaps (I change something earlier) and we wind up somewhere you have planned, I might call your cell. Likewise > if your around the contempary call me.:wizard: Have a great time at wdw! Lets hope for good weather, and low crowds.;)

Today I got the call, about Japan's resturant not opening in time. We are switched to mexico. And they gave me some special illuminations viewing pass for that nite with dinner. :confused3 Wondering where that will be? Maybe around the mexico cantina?

Minnie, Yes we have done universal a few times. And like ee22> we move to universal's resort's for the days we are there. It is so worth it. We have a special fondness for Portofino bay resort. Love the quiet villa pool. Hard rock is ok, but for the price, I thought our room was very small. :confused3 The FOTL is a great perk.

Tomar, thanks for the good wishes. I am sure, your family already knows how much you love disney.

Speaking of that, EE22, has your dd read this entire thread yet? My sister is very excited to "meet, my internet friends".

Hope, school starts off really nice. Are you using the same book you did last year?

mky 2 days to go!pluto: pluto: :hourglass

MKY: I really hope your foot gets better. What you wrote earlier is a little scary. I guess early retirement is out? My friend started some shots for pain management. They are pretty much killing the nerves where he is feeling his pain. It was better than more surgery. Is that an option for you? Hope you feel better soon.

EE22: Good luck tomorrow. Hope all goes well.

MKY: I can say...have a great trip tomorrow:cool1:
I, too, hope the foot gets better for you. When I was at the eye doc she told me she had foot surgery and was on an antibiotic directly in her veins for 10 weeks afterwards.:scared1:

DD hasn't read our entire. She usually looks at pictures...she has an amazing one as her background on her pewter...of the Castle. She has Bill's old computer. She showed me yesterday some funky white on the Castle that is new...we don't care for it. Maybe it looks better in person. The one she has up now was taken around Christmas...beautiful shot at night.

I am using the same textbooks this year...hopefully the extras that we need will be here by Monday. It took me all day on Friday to get someone to order me more books:headache:

Minnie: Remember too that one night in a Universal resort gives you two days of the FOTL access. The boys only stayed one night and had two days in the park. They would go over around 9 am on the first day and check in and get their room keys and then spend that whole first day in the park and then next. Works out great for them.

Hiya everyone,:yay:

TP2, Yes, it is very scary. I have searched the web, and the hospital library about this condition, and not much info on it. My orth md, is like "take one step at a time" ... I keep asking and he tries to calm me down. But, I saw my gyne md this week (yearly physical) and he scared the heck out of me. And told me all this :scared1: Not to mention, being depressed and my blood pressure set on boil. All side effects of the foot thing. Sadly, not married so no early retirment in my future. On my own. Well gyne md, said going to wdw was just what I needed.

Looks like the weather people are on target. It is thundering outside and pouring.

Well, thought I should check here early in case of ap rates.:yay: Can't hurt to dream.

They are supposed to have computers at the contempary, but different reports on if they are use able. So might be able to check in once in a while. Need to finish some packing, get our paperwork all sorted out, and find our tix, and info. Hmmmmm, I better get busy cause tommorrow we go to disney!:dance3:
