I know I'll have nightmares tonight...I did last summer when we bought our new car. I never did when we bought our house. Ignorance is Bliss I guess.

I have to figure out how to get the AKV pic on my signature and then once I make our reservation I will for sure change my countdown, but I think it's pretty close to being what I'll ask for.

I woke up this morning and saw all my DVC notes and realized it was true and I didn't have any nightmares about it I have to take a hard look at dates so I can figure out when we will try to go.

I just remebered I need to call Disney and have all of ADR's put on my hotel choice.
I called in March and did them all before the free dinning was released.

I called and they said there is no need to do this, yet I was told when I made the all of them, that I would need to call back!

So I got flights. The price is great, only problem is we have to come home a day earlier. I have ADR's and everything. I am not going to give up just yet though. Maybe there will be another Ding that will give me a decent flight on August 30. I think the problem is that we are so close to Labor Day. DH will only fly direct so that also creates a slight problem. No worries, still going and it only cost us $94 after using our vouchers.

TP2 Wow! great news, all that airfare for less than $100.00! That is a great deal. I liked your idea about taking the vouchures. I have considered it in the past when they are giving deals out, but we are always in a "hurry" to get somewhere.

EE22 You must still be celebrating! Right now they are building the eeyore villa.

TP2- Keep trying to get the one day back that you had to omit with the plane tickets....it`s worth the try...to stay an extra day !!

Are any of you driving instead of flying? just curious. We are driving... and are from Indiana.. however we don't have any children.. and i know once we do we may rethink the whole driving thing.

Friends of mine drive from Iowa which has to be further than where you are and it's just the two of them and they don't mind so much. They like the flexibility with not being tied to a plane reservation. Tomar drove last year but it was in shifts.

This would be far too dangerous for me because I would know I could BUY more when I am there!!

lol yeah that is why we are driving! lol Well also because we love road trips and have never been to many of the southern states we will go through. But yeah, definitely helps with how much we have to spend on whatever we want! lol

MKY: I am feeling your pain. It is quiet today so I am assuming that no AP rates came out again. Maybe they are waiting until June 24 when free dining promo ends. This way they know what inventory they have left.

As for the vouchers, we got stuck on the runway last year for 2 hours because of bad weather. They sent everyone on the plane a $100 voucher for future travel. We are 5 people so we got $500. No complaining or anything here, just good business (or bad, not sure). They made more money for Disney than themselves.

EE22: I am so excited for you. And you slept which means it was a good decision. It must be so nice to know that you can go every year for like what, the next 50?

Luggage...That is the best feeling when it is actually time to start packing.

I am going to keep my eyes open for better flights. I was even open to going down a day earlier and losing one day of free dining but that flight is a fortune too. As it stands now we are there from Tuesday evening until the following Wednesday evening. We have ADR's for Chef Mickeys that night that I really don't want to cancel. I am keeping my fingers crossed that our flight will open up and we can go back to traveling on Thursday instead of Wednesday. Now I need to come up with a second itinerary, just in case.

Yup....50 years of AKV I can handle. I knew we wouldn't go otherwise so now we "have to" go!! I am going to figure out what dates we are going to shot for next summer and pray that they work!! I think we are going to stay our first night at BC so we can use SAB for two days. DD has always wanted to go there. So...I may be on the ap code watch anyway!!

VMK-
We drove part of the way last year...when our first DGD was born..so we flew to South Carolina (where our DS & DDIL live now)....and then drove from there to WDW .....it took 7 hours....
We drove from NY...many times as our DS`s were growing up....it was a long haul...I won`t say that it`s a walk in the park....you have to stop and rest alot....but the anticipation of getting closer to Fla. is fun!
Luggage-
Congrats on getting new ones ...I think we`re just about due ..for new luggage...mabe next year !!

thanks!! We hit the 2 week mark tonight... exactly.. we are leaving at 9 pm and driving over night on June 29th. It's just too exciting. I feel like a little kid planning this vacation! Hopefully it will be a great stress relief for my husband!

Do those of you that drove, know where the toll roads are? and about how much they cost? I'm trying to figure out how much I need to bring in 1's and 5's , etc.. for tips, tolls, etc..
