Apparently no one knew the answer to my question but oh well I got it answered elswhere!

I am so mad at my grandma. She is trying to get us not to go to Disney in June! It is because she is mad at me for whatreason I don't know.

I only have like 47 days left if we actually get to go. I have my fingers crossed.

MKY- thank you for asking. ...we had alot of rain and wind...but thank goodness...we all are ok here. !
The Perfectly Princess will actually make her debut in the world on her 3rd birthday !!
Looks like EE22 and I...are BOTH looking forward to `09 in a big way !!!!

This year...for her first Birthday she`ll be coming up to be with us in June...I can`t believe she`s gunna be 1 yrs old already

TP2- We make an ADR for the GF cafe` also...for Dinner though..before going to the MK for spectro and wishes one evening....the characters will be the same as 1900 park fare until 10/07..
Then... 1900 will have the different character dining as you mentioned....

For some reason I am still not getting alerts when there is a post here. Oh well.

To answer the poster about refunds. If you book a package, you have 45 days from the day of your trip to cancel without any penalty. This is the same day that your balance is due. If you booked a room only reservation, you can get your money back at the 6 day mark. I hope that clears things up for you.

MKY and Tomar: I am so excited. Thanks for being excited for me. We did not tell the girls yet. We are waiting for Mothers Day, it is going to be my surprise gift. DH figures they will be so thrilled to be able to give that to me as they know how badly I want to go again. I am sure once they know about it they may want to change out at least one of our dining reservations.

Tomar: Can't believe that the baby is almost a year old already. Time really does fly by. It is so amazing.

Yes we had terrible weather here last weekend. This weekend was wonderful though. Thank goodness, we are having DD8 communion this weekend at the house and the yard was a real mess. We need this week to clean the property.

EE22: Can't believe you are almost done for the year. We end on June 22 and that is early for us. I am looking forward to some of the extras being done. We are running every day of the week and we just need a couple of days to chill not have a clock hanging over our heads.

Hope everyone enjoys their week. The weather is finally spring and we are all loving every minute of it.

Hiya everyone!

It is so busy here. Work is still crazy. We just had several people quit and haven't replaced / trained new people yet. So that is nutty. Weather is better, getting some rain but not bad.

Planning, haven't done much. Still checking on car prices. Seem that they are going up and not down. Waiting till June 1 for the Princess / Pirate party's. Still going over our adr's. There are so many resturants with changes. IE: Teppankai closed till our last week in august. Italy changing?, Contempary steakhouse closing?, Gf cafe serving the 1900 park faire meals and citrico's serving some of gf cafes? I am so confused.

Also getting closer to my nov / dec date's 180 mark and making those plans. Starting to think about choices for that too.

TP2 congrat's on the communion. Have a great party. I know you will have a great mothers day.

EE22, Only 1 month! Wow! Seems like the year flew by.

Tomar, glad your having better weather. Happy b-day princess

TP2: Cute idea with Mother's Day. I like it.
MKY: I'd be confused too. There are a lot of changes in dining. I didn't know about the steakhouse. That's a popular spot.
TOMAR: You are the closet to your trip We made our reservations for our track events we are going to...one in June and one in July. I'd rather be with the Mouse, but that's not going to happen. The closest I'll get is a Disney Store. MKY: it's near Naperville and I'm trying to check out the area on the internet. Looks like there is a store in Oak Brook, but I thought a friend said there was one in Naperville.

This week the school is putting on Beauty and the Beast so that will be my part of Disney. I heard them singing on Friday (they sounded wonderful) and I walked into the practice and I told them I felt like I was at MGM. They all laughed. Many having been bugging me about when I was buying my tickets. I knew if I didn't go, I'd be in BIG trouble.

MKY- I hear ya about the restaurants going down for refurbishment and just closeing as Alfredos this summer.. .passed on Citricos for Dinner...took GFC instead this year....and we`re going to try Nine Dragons in China...I hadn`t heard about the steakhouse at CR either...

EE22- I love that your countdown is at 14 months now !! The time is going to fly!!

Hi ladies!

Well it will be May 1 tommorrow. Hoping we are getting close to an AP rate announcement soon. I think it was May last year when august came out? Just started to worry, [again] so plugged in numbers with the free dining thing, but with just 2 people, it is still not worth it. Will stand firm with AAA rate. ? Last nite I called disney dining, to switch around a few adr's, to adjust for Party's. (mvmcp and pirate / princess parties on sale tommorrow). I know I will not be able to call till after work tommorrow, but should be ok, planning to go on the off days. Mid week, no fridays or weekend picks. Hoping for smaller crowds.

With the nicer weather here, work has slowed down a lot. Hope it stays that way. Hope everyone has a great week.

MKY: I forgot that you have been to those parties before. I thought that I read somewhere that they limit the number of tickets to 10,000 so that the crowds are light. Am I dreaming??? I can't seem to put my finger on where I got the info but I bet I am mistaken.

TP2, yes, I have read that the tix are limited too. Not that I could tell at the parties I've been to. Just like they say that the e-nites where limited (# of people) when they used to sell tix to that. We have been to mvmcp and mnsshp before. The new versions of the parties are more geared to children (young children) than they used to. But the parades and fireworks are worth the price of admission. This will be our first entry into the P& P party. A friend from work attended in feb? and was very impressed.

Tomar, thanks for the pixie dust. I would call at 6am here But, I need so many tix, that I would still be on the phone at 7am when I am supposed to be at work. I am saving, being late for work, on AP rate day. I will get something, hopefully. We can play with a few days, we are going for 18nites, both times.

I was just reading the dis-abilities board. Sis has a serious knee condition. Looking at replacement, sooner than later. Trying to talk her into a ecv or wheelchair. I tried to explain, to use it as needed. Like around epcot, cause of all the big walking. She could stand in lines. And walk around stores etc.. . but for the long hikes and big days at the parks I know she will be in lot of pain. She is pretty stubborn thou. I know she is just worried about what others think. She does not wear a knee brace etc.. . her ortho guy says it won't help / make a difference etc.. . So no obvious signs of injury unless she is limping badly. Which she tries to control too. I keep telling her we don't know anyone there and what is the difference. She might not get to walk around at all if she keeps this up. She needs to start taking care of herself. Do I sound flustrated or what? Any way any ideas or help with this issue?

MKY: My dad has serious back issues and the first year we went he also refused. When he realized that he was ruining everyones trip and really could not keep up he finally gave in. It took him 2 days of his 5 day trip to cave in. He could not even make it from the hotel room to the food court. Same situation as your sister, doesn't use it at home and feels bad, like looking for line cutting. What was great was having it delivered to the hotel from Walker and then having it every day instead of having to wait in line once you get to the parks. No guarantee that they will have an ECV available at the parks either. Last year he ordered it before we left home and it was waiting at the hotel upon checkin. Much better and once he got used to it he was fine. Only drawback to using Walker is you will need to get it on the buses. If you use the bus system she may feel bad holding people up while the driver loads and unloads her.

One more question for you about the parties, is the weekend that much busier? The day that works best for us is the Friday night. I guess you end up with a lot of locals who just come for that. Unless, we come in 2 days earlier, but I don't think DH will go for that. I am lucky I am getting what I am, I don't want to push it.

TOMAR: Thanks for all the good wishes. You will be there next year with your princess. Did you hear that Bippitty Boppity Boutique is opening in Cinderellas Castle. That will be an amazing experience. Much better than trucking down to DDD and then hitting the parks.

MKY- I know alot of people are waiting for the P&P Party tickets to go on sale, as I`ve been reading another board about it...but even if you can only get a few tomorrow...I really don`t think it will be much of a problem...Yes they say they are limited...but I`ve heard that the Parties during the winter months weren`t overly crowded...
Im so sorry to hear about sis`s knee problem...I think the ecv is a good idea ...I have osteo-arthiritis in my knees... walking actually helps it though..so I really can`t say what would be an alternative to the ecv other than mabe wearing a knee brace...although.. in the heat of the summer...a nice seat...beats walking to me anytime..Im sorry that it causes her such pain...she shouldn`t worry about what others think...we see sooo many of them there...
We`ll be at the world for 2 weeks again this year...but with 18 days ...you guys might want to plan some down time in between the park days...so she can recoup alittle too

Well, I got them. After 48 minutes on hold, I was able to get Pirate and Princess tickets. I took Friday, August 24. I will just pray that it won't be too crowded. It can't be much worse than the crowds in July. After looking at our trip, it is really the only date that makes sense. I want to have a pool day and something late planned for the next day. Friday was the only day that worked. I am sure it will be fine. I can't wait now. We only need to book flights and we will be all set.

Hi everyone!

Just got home and straight to phone! Got 2 princess /pirate parties. Did the ap dates of aug 21 & 28th both are tuesdays. Mvmcp did 3. took the ap date of 11/27 (tuesday) , then reg dates dec 2 (sun) and dec 4th tuesday.
Don't worry about the friday. TP2! If you can do July you can do a party busy.

Thanks for all the advice. And keep watching for the ap rates to hit. Now to get this uniform off.
