Hi Everyone...

EE22: So sorry to hear you had a bad reaction to peanuts. Glad to hear you are feeling better. Your Christmas trip is getting so close. Don't worry about the car rental. At least it is already planned. Hopefully you will get that well deserved raise and it won't matter as much the cost of going over the holidays.

We got our puppy. His name is Sully and he is a cream colored Havanese puppy. Very cute. We have been VERY busy, just like having a newborn. Can't go outside until he had all of his shots. I really had no idea it would be so complicated. The first few days were torture but he is so much better now. Getting used to our schedule and sleeping through the night.

MKY and TOMAR: So happy you guys are planning your trip for next summer. How exciting.

Sorry I haven't been around. You probably think we have been doing packing  Not exactly. Doubt it hit the news but we had terrible storms here on monday, and we have not had power till this am. Monday 2pm till 3am wednesday. Our tree landed on power line and took out the whole neighborhood. News here said that 47,000 homes where affected overall from the damage (no power, of the storm [not us] :) ). Luckily we just had no power and lots of tree damage. No one hurt, no houses etc.. . damaged just all out in the yards. Some people are still waiting. All this in the south suburbs of chicago. It was lightening, and wind burst, that caused all the damage. We still have 1/2 the tree derbris in the back. We have an unsafe tree that needs to be taken care of, before we can clean up near it.

EE22, I didn't realize you where not going next summer. You will be that much more excited next time. I envy your holiday trip. That would be the ultimate. xmas day at disney. [even if it is packed :wizard: ].

TP2 I searched your breed, and they are beauitful! :thumbsup2

Tomar, yes we are staying at the Poly in october. I didn't want to waste time moving around either. We are thinking about the Cr tower next summer and maybe pors or the poly again? (pors to economize, & poly so we don't miss it?) We might wait till late august or september? The best would be July but I can't make it cooler, or less crowded, so I guess we will have to get new tickets? Our passes lapse in august. :hourglass Sis wants to add a 4 day disneycruise in there somewhere too. I really like Castaway cay but not that crazy about naussa or some ship activities. Thinks it takes away from my disney time? :confused3

WOW :yay: a week from today we will be at the Poly. Doesn't seem real somehow. This came up sooooo fast! :dance3: But I know it will be over just as fast. :sad2: Tommorrow work and haircut, and friday I am off but having endoscopy done (stomach problems), then I work sat, sun, and monday > and I am on v-a-c-a-t-i-o-n! :woohoo: Yikees, I better stop writing, you guys will think I am such a bragging b*^%$! Ummm, fool? :stir: :surfweb:

Have a great thursday! We are thrilled to have lights and working fridge again! :cheer2:

Hey Guys !!! :wave2:

MKY- OMG ! :earseek: I`m sorry to hear about the bad weather that you`ve been having where you live...I hope all is well now :wizard: I also hope that everything went well with your stomach test :wizard:
4 MORE DAYS !!!!!!!!
You must be sooo excited !!!!
I hope you have a wonderful Time @ MNSSHP.... :hmghost: :mickeyjum :hmghost: :goofy:
Have a safe trip...and take alot of pics!!!! :goodvibes

TP2- So happy to hear that you got your puppy now....I bet it`s sooo cute :goodvibes Love that you guys named it Sully ;)
Puppys ARE alot of work in the beginning that`s for sure...our DS has a Malmute Husky.."Alaska"....but the kids call her "Ma-laska" :goodvibes

EE22- Before you know it.....the Holidays will be here :goodvibes :santa:

MKY: Have a wonderful time! I know you're going to one of those parties for me since I cannot go!! :lmao: I think that is so cute!!! DISNEY ADDICT!!!

Tomar: I have decided I need something to look forward to this summer to make it through school. Maybe I'll talk DH into a summer trip. I don't know though with the kiddies. DS16 might not go for it :guilty:

TP2: I'm so happy you have a puppy! LOVE the name!! I was informed by DD that it's my fault that she'll be allergic to animals since we didn't have one when she was little. I told her about your dog and the non allergies. Both of my kids want a dog when they grow up! I took microbiology and I have OCD, I just couldn't deal with a dog or cat. She's been very upset though as her Beta fish that she had for four years died last week. His name was Eeyore. She was so sad :sad2:

MKY: Hope your feeling better and your tests go well. Sorry you lost power for so long. You don't realize how much you rely on electricity until you don't have it. Hope you have a great trip, it is coming really soon.

EE22: I know what you mean about the puppy thing. I have washed his butt about 5 times already in the sink. After each potty run I use a wipe and I make the kids wash their hands all the time. We are going through soap in the kitchen like crazy. Sorry about the fish. We went through them too. I had a hard time keeping them alive.

TOMAR: Thanks for the well wishes with the puppy.

We are running out the door. Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.

MKY: I missed the note about your tests. I hope they go well. I need to concentrate more when I read posts!

Hiya everyone!

Thanks for the well wishes. Still waiting for the results. Still have the chronic gastritis, but awaiting biopsy's on tissue. No more caffine (coke), chocolate, spicy food, grease, etc... Eat small frequent meals. Nothing large. Doctor said if I don't change something now, if the test are ok they might not be next time. Not sure how this is going to play out with my ADR's we have. We might wind up splitting alot of dinners. The upside is We could save some money, and ? loose weight?

Electric is in place and working! No other problems.
I have gotten the house ship/shape and all completed. Finished scrubbing the floors today (after work). So next project >START PACKING!

EE22, great pictures. That looked like a fun wedding! They brought a disney wedding home!

TP2, Wolfie is having the same bathroom problems. I found diaper wipes for dogs! (at petsmart). The work real well. Says you can give them a whole bath if needed with these in the winter. Now, I would much rather clean up your pup, then my #118 pound german shepard. Wonder if he could get up in the sink? Hmmmmmm.

Tomar, thanks for the countdown. I think we might walk around SSR and check it out. > Future scouting trip.

Well, have tommorrow to work, and that it! So at 3:31pm monday > I'm on vacation! :cheer2: Everyone have a great nite.

MKY: I feel your pain. I can eat almost nothing I love anymore. It's just not worth it anymore. At the wedding I had a reaction to my new hot pink liptstick :confused3 must have yellow dye in it. At least I got it free from Vicky's.

Have a GREAT TRIP!!

TP2 and MKY: the doggie thing...I'd have a nervous breakdown :rotfl:

Tomar: Keep me posted on DVC and AKL. I have no time for the boards. I'm buried. I'm hoping after football and volleyball I'll have more time, but then it's chapter 7 again in math for me. Time is running out for working ahead. :hourglass

Hey Guys!!!!!

MKY- I hope and pray that all your tests come out well. Don`t worry about how your eating in the World....I had a similar problematic stomach condition....but was put on Nexium first...and it seems to be working for me :thumbsup2 .....Yes...you must eat more frequently...and in small portions
Try to have Breakfast...lunch and Dinner....don`t miss a meal...but eat things that you think you`ll digest easily. OOH...Drink Decafinated Tea instead of coffee....helps the tummy :cloud9:
2 MORE DAYS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

Still waiting on my test. I will call tommorrow and try again. Holiday weekend? :confused3

EE22 :teacher: So glad we have dedicated math teachers. I could not image still doing (school) math at my age. I think I've had that nitemare.

Tomar princess: Thanks for the great advise. Nice to know, others have this too. I have also been on nexium twice a day & carafate four times a day, since july. Hopefully things will start turning around. Mky likes to popcorn:: (eat). :rolleyes1 I hope md tells me to quit my job for stress reduction. We are definately going into busy season. Had a real crowd of patients this last weekend.

Good news I got Tikiman's news letter and he is saying the building Tokelau is now open at the Polynesian! Just re-modeled. I requested this and hope we get it. :wizard: Almost done packing. A few things tommorrow and Our limo will be here at 3am wednesday am. Hope we get out of chicago thou. They are calling for rain & snow flurries Yikees. It was in the 70's about 1pm today and at 6pm it was 50 & still dropping. Look out you guys on the east coast.

Hope everyone has a great nite. mky

Have a great time MKY!!! Snow predicted here too. I'm worried for December now...YIKES!!!!!!

Tomar: Just because I'm considering summer doesn't mean it will happen, but I can dream :rotfl: I somehow think I need to just veg this summer and not run like fool and WDW is Foolish, Fun Running :teeth:

TP2: I feel like a bad mom since we never had a pet :guilty: but I had a cat growing up and most of the time DM took care of it :goodvibes

HMMMMM.....Until......you know who ;) :goodvibes Comes with us !! princess: princess: princess: princess: princess:

I do think you need a countdown clock for the Princess Trip!

It's spitting snow here :faint:

MKY: So glad the tests came back okay. That is great news. And now you are off for your Halloween trip. I hope it is great.

I just got a code for November and December travel. They included park tickets in the price so I am not quite sure how good of a deal it is. We are not going anywhere now anyway so it does not matter much. I am sure they are only sending me a code for times I don't normally travel. It would be nice if something good came along. We have 2 days worth of park tickets left from this summer and the free vouchers from Southwest so it may work to convince DH to go again this summer. I have to feel it out though. I would love to stay somewhere with nice amenities and have a lot more down time. Maybe even stay offsite and visit some of the other parks (dare I say it) :rotfl: .

Hope everyone is well and free of alergies this week. Seems like everyone is a lot busier lately.

I wonder when MKY returns? I know she was gone for a long time, but I don't remember her return date.

I knew that I wouldn't get a code for our travel dates since we were going and I always did all the other years!! :rotfl: I'm glad MKY alerted me to the AP rates that's for sure.

62 days for us! Can't believe it's so close. I'm starting to stress, but now that football is over I should have more time. I did get a better deal on a car rental so that makes me happy :cheer2:

Stay warm!! it's cold here...we were suppose to get snow, but we didn't.

Hey Guys !!! :goodvibes

Yep....seems like MKY is gone awhile now....Enjoying MNSSHP :hmghost: :sulley: :mickeyjum :goofy:

EE22- 62 days :goodvibes - How exciting !! :tinker: :santa:

It would be soo nice to get a room only e-mail code for July....but.. in all reality...I`ll probably be straining my eyeballs to open.. each 7 in the morning  ..on the code/watch board.. ..sometime in the near future..I hope :cloud9:

Hiya!

Got home very late last nite. We had a great relaxing time. But it was :grouphug: crowded :grouphug: Oh well, I guess everyone heard about October. :confused3

I will write a mini trip report again, (maybe?). but here are some of our highlights.

--United airlines, I love them. We got to upgrade seats on both ends of our flight for extra room. :yay: Very nice and friendly staff.

--National emerald aisle: We got a very cool ** VW bug convertible** Great car I want one! light blue with black roof (always open). leather, and automatic. Just my size (short). And we got in all our luggage. 2 large suitcases, and 2 medium's, then 2 back packs. Sis is a packing marvle.

--Polynesian Resort: Got our request for tokelau, 3rd floor quiet pool view. Great room, brand new. Just rehabed.

--Food and Wine fest: don't go during the weekend, nuts. never seen epcot more crowded. $4.99 for 2 shirmp at austraila?

--MNNSHP: very crowded, not enough time to do everything. great parade and fireworks, best we have ever seen. (including mvmcp, sorry ee22). We wore: party #1 convict costumes > early in oct. and not many people in costumes. #2 wore halloween shirts and black shorts very hot this nite, still not many costumes. #3 Mickey baseball shirts, with matching shorts and long underwear shirt under > very cold this nite 50's. Party #4 Nurse outfits, with mickey halloween nurse shirts, stethoscopes, and hemostat's. More people dressed and weather great. We didn't trick or treat, lines very long, and sis allergic to chocolate anyway. Dance parties where ok, but just really for kids, we watched. Liked the way the party was in 04' better. Had more adult things offered then too.

--Overall it was nice going in October, but I think I liked the rat race of august better? Longer hours, and weather more perdicable. It never rained at all. (yeah) but it did get cool at nite, and lasted a few days. Any where from 103 (1 day) to 50's. Not enough swim time.

-- Food: Stomach an issue earlier in trip then got a little better. Just ordered what I wanted and ate till it hurt. Was ok. Highlights:

Concourse Steakhouse: B, L, D. All where great meals. We really like this place. Must have ressies for dinner thou. They could not find our ressie, but I brought my numbers and they found it.
England: was ok, not great, nice to try once, but won't be back.
China: good when you don't have a ressie. Still think portions much smaller and service always in a hurry.
Mexico: ok food, and waitress nice. But not impressed with matr'd. Rude and spoke in spanish to other matr'd about where to seat us. I guess he didn't know we understood him talking about us? :confused3 **we let him know sis speaks spanish**. he was surprised.
Kona: not a big polynesian flavored food person, but salad was ok. good service.
GF cafe: B,L,D. Nice and pretty room, good food.
Gardenview tea gf: Love this tea. Not to be missed.
Tony's town square: YUK! soggy noodles with ketsup. good service.
Hollywood Brown derby: Empty resturant, gave us the back hidden table? I wanted a romantic dinner with sis???? Ok food.
Sci fi: L,D. We love this place. Had a new reel for the movies? mistake. great food.

off site:
Olive garden LBV: clean nice, good service.
Vito's chophouse: International drive: Oh my god. Went early, looking for meat but not ponderosa, and wondered in here at opening. If you want a fabulous, expensive, beauitful, expensive, romantic, did i say expensive dinner? WOW. This is the place. Does not look that fancy from the outside, (we had on shorts and nice shirt) (yikees) but wow. what a meal. I had a rib eye $28? It looked like a roast? All sides including potatoes etc.. are extra and keep adding. Very elegant meal. too bad I went with sis? Our bill for the 2 of us over $100.00 and we did not have wine, drinks, or dessert / appetizer.
Perkins LBV: B ok clean and has been improved since we where in there a few years ago.
Friendlies International drive: sentimental fav. of ours. we had lunch here good diner food and snack one nite.

EE22> be sure you have all your ADR's they are important. Or your not eating. Make extra.

Tomar> We drove through SSR twice. Seriously considering for next august. That washer / dryer and bathtub are worth it alone. It is really nice.

Missed you guys. Happy planning. Must start on august 07' now. Thinking of just 1 trip next year. (sans max). Are the AAA discounts our for 07?
