It does pay to keep calling dining too. I was able to get two today that have been full for the entire day since Thanksgiving!!

Hiya everyone!

EE22!!! 3 Days! WOW. You will be at wdw in no time. Looks like you should be in luck with the weather, they are saying bad snow starting tommorrow [thursday] and ending friday >> so hopefully sat. will be cleared up. I saw the room discounts, but think with saving our ap we are really saving more $$ staying with the 4for 7 deal. Or, at least until something [ap] else comes out, and wows us. We have our adr's through march 22 but we are there till the 28th so need the rest yet.

Candi, time to start packing. We sent you some wicked snow yesterday, sorry. All ice and snow here.

NO School today...I don't like snow days that's for sure.
We are due to have snow tomorrow, but hopefully not much.

Tomar: Yes, I think I am done but my parents keep taking my stuff. They feel they don't have enough, I do, but they don't. I was out last night too and for the first time of the season, people seemed frantic. I guess because of the weather report. I am down to baking and cooking too. I have some wrapping left but most of it is done. I am really looking forward to the warmer weather but I am releaved I don't need to go out in what is expected for the weekend.

EE22: So hope all goes as planned tomorrow. No school today gives you a chance to dot your i's and get everything in order for tomorrow. I will be thinking of you tomorrow. Have a wonderful trip.

Thanks Guys. The midwest and northeast sure are a mess today. Flights are still leaving here if they are going to warm places...as well as flights leaving last night. That is a good thing. It didn't hit till nearly 9 pm. DS and DD Were not pleased about doing homework, but it was due today if we had school.

I really hate snow days, but now that DL11 has a make up game tomorrow at noon right before we go...I'm glad I have some time to get things done...wash, change out my purse, etc.

Remind me that I said this on June 20th when we are still in school. When we have snow days before winter break...it's not good!! I know some schools get out that late normally, but we started EARLY!!

I have secured the dining that we want. I'd love to get a breakfast at CP but I think it's a no go. I did get Tusker House so that is awesome. We have lunch at CP but we love breakfast there, but we'll be back in July.

I was even able to secure a Sleigh Ride for one night at 9:30.

Can't wait to see the WL all dressed up for Christmas. Strange not being at AKL.

TP2- LOL about your parents ....I can sympathize with them They know exactly what the girls want when it comes out of Mommy`s mouth ...or in your case....Hands !! ....Our DS and DDIL let us do the same too !...LOL ....She just got the box with Santa`s gifts yesterday ...They will go under the Tree on Christmas eve !!
Cooking will start this weekend for sure !!!

EE22: I am afraid to know what he is saying. It is a mess here. They let the kids out early and it took them over an hour to get home. We are 1/4 mile from the school. They could have walked faster.

Tomar: My mom says that she does not know what they want anymore so it saves me from doing returns. I guess she is right but everytime I am done I find myself shopping again.

It`s been a MESS here in New Jersey today...Rain...Sleet...Ice...Snow.....the WHOLE 9 yards ! !!..Im paying for better weather for us .......and for EE22 for tomorrow !!! Have a safe Flight EE !!

Hiya everyone,

EE22 Happy Disney EVE Hope you are all ready for tommorow!! Have a great time! We will miss you. Sounds like you really pulled things togther so quickly. I think the WL will be a wonderful change. Don't forget, if you have time to check out the other resorts. Xmas decorations are wonderful. I was blown away by boardwalk. [and you know, that is not our fav. resort] Good luck with the snow.

We got more ice than snow here. I guess we where right on the dividing line, between the snow going more north and the ice storm going south. we got more ice, but some snow. The drive way was a killer today. Chipping through 4 inches of iced snow. I think all of us got to enjoy that storm.

TP2, my mom does that too. She can't get out, so she picks out stuff we buy and takes them.

Tomar, will be so happy xmas eve. Missing her nana thou.

Candi, hang in there. Looks like your work is getting alot tougher. At least you will get away for a short time.

6 days till christmas! I am ready for xmas, and today finished bug's b-day. Its the 27th. So, have to do double duty.

Called dining this morning and I secured CP for Christmas Day before we leave the World. My arteries need some Puffed French Toast.

Going to our second basketball of the day soon.

mky...dining is still only out to 3/22. There is a thread over on dining...I'd watch that if I were you. They are saying mid Jan now. It better be a GREAT system that's all I know.

I checked too for WL for the 26th and 27th of Dec...they still have rooms. Not good

It`s been a very nasty weekend here weatherwise !....Rain...Snow....Ice...ick .....I still have to get to the mall today for 2 more gifts ....finished food shopping last night ...so as of sometime tonight or tomorrow...."The Cooking shall begin" !

I`ll be missing the Perfectly Princess for Christmas Yes.. ....I speak to her though on the phone almost every day....she loves to sing songs to us !!

Hi Everyone: Been busy here and I have not checked in but I wanted to see if EE22 made it to the World okay. I guess no news is good news and her flight got out last night. I am done shopping at the mall, my last attempt was Thursday night and it was the first time I noticed nasty people. I guess because of the weather forcast. Mom is taking one more thing from me so now I am uneven but they will have to survive. Hopefully we can get them to open something quick and not notice. Somehow that does not happen though.

Baking is going to start today and one more day of work for me before I am completely off for the 2 weeks. DD4 thinks we are going to Disney World tomorrow. She keeps telling everyone we are going to vacation on Monday. She is a bit confused. Still have not officially told them about August, just in case of anything, but they hear rumblings so they know something is in the works.

Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and stays healthy. I am fine staying home at this point because everyone is coughing like crazy out there. It is terrible.

laptop was toast, but now is working fine...we think the change in weather caused the screen to go nuts.

We have a Woods view here at the Lodge (upgrade). Didn't realize we could see the Wishes fireworks till tonight looks like Michigan out the door at my parents minus the snow

line for the FP for Toy Story Mania

EE22 - I am glad you made it safely.

10 days till our January trip to SSR. We are doing a cruise for 7 days in March about the same time MKY is going. We added a couple of days before and after but are not planning on going to the parks. We are going to spend a couple of days at Vero Beach after the cruise.

Sorry I have been neglecting everyone. My mom came down with a nasty gastro virus and I had to try to take care of her a bit this week. Then I caught the worst cold I have had in a very long time. I missed one full day from work and should have been at least three, but could not chance being away so long at this time of year.....they might start to think they don't need me. I hate it when your eyes water and they get red and puffy and hurt... nice look too. I am finally starting to feel close to normal after sleeping most of the day yesterday.

We got hammered with the snow on Thursday night and Friday as MKY predicted. DD10 had a test at the hospital here on Friday morning and it took forever since a lot of the staff were late. They put the tube down her throat to have a look. Turns out she has acid reflux They gave her Prevacid and we see the doctor again after our trip to Disney. Hopefully she will start to feel better now.

My shopping is pretty much done. Not much wrapped yet but that won't take long. We cut way back this year.

January is going to be a very hard month since most of the auto plants will be down for most of the month. I just hope we are strong enought to survive until it picks up again. Until then, no more trip planning after our March trip... I need to watch the pennies but both of these trips were already planned, and mostly paid for so away we go.

One more day of work for me then I am off (half without pay) until after our trip. But at least I still have a job so no complaints here.

Hiya everyone,

3 days till christmas! Saw the first batch of EE22's pictures = fabulous. I was worried it was cold there too, but looked ok in pictures. So jealous they got to meet Bolt. Hope you guys have a great time & enjoy the lodge! Good luck with availability. Didn't know you where still working that out.

Tonight, the Bears play on national tv. Its -2 here right now, without the wind. That is going to be a nasty game. We have done 3 days now in total negative digits. It's freezing here. Is bored, can only be out for 5 to 10 minutes at a time. We are still snowed in too, and tonight at 3 am we have another winter snow warning for 6 to 9 inches. Yes, winter if definately here.

Candi, Look out, we aren't sending anything good. This snow is coming from EE22's house, She will have to shovel when she gets back. Your cruise sounds great & we want pictures and info on vero. Looks interesting.

Tomar & TP2, Hope you get everything ready in time. Shopping and cooking is alot of work. But still fun. Dad is attempting Prime Rib for xmas dinner. When he cooks, means alot of dishes for me to wash. He also has some weird recipe for marinade, does not sound good but we can't talk him out of it.

Have to work tommorrow and xmas eve, but it is usually fun. At least for us. I still am coughing, and a little tired but feel better and no problems breathing now. So on the mend hopefully. Just need the weather to stablize.
