Wow, what a busy weekend. Finally got some down time today. The Bears are actually winning [for now] so the house is happy.

Tomar, So glad is better. I thought of you all day on Friday. I had a couple of T&A kids. I kept pretending, the families was yours. And hoping, someone took good care of our

TP2, Yikees, those days S^%$ Completely misses my March trip except for 2 days. I agree, we are 1/2 empty's here too. I go for 18 nites, and after 2 days I am already thinking "only 16 nites left...." I know, I should be happy, we go for so long, and are lucky enough to go alot, but you still think that way. And well come to fall. Leaves are falling so fast here, we will be bare in another week. And 60 today ? maybe?

EE22 Have you ever stayed at swan or dolphin with the teacher thing? We did both and I left the swan after 2 days, was very unhappy. We moved to BC on that trip. Probably, because we 1st stayed at poly, and the comparison was toooooo great? We did the dolphin a few years ago too but like that. Kinda in order of CR. Great views, huge, and lots of action. It is definately worth looking into.

Candi, welcome back, hang in there. Them kind of people never stay too long at 1 job. They make you miserable > and move on.

I was thinking they would have good discounts too, but I watched wall street journal a couple of weekends ago [only thing on at 5am] and they said: do not do big discounts to make up economy > only makes people think they will get them? and you should stick with your prices.

mky...Disney is following that logic online that's for sure. They have had NO SALES to speak of like they normally do and no free shipping codes through DV unless you bought Halloween. So....we shall see I guess. Other places are having big sales.

Candi...lots of people here have fuel that way since there are huge areas of corn fields and the vast majority of the state is rural. I'm a city slicker though

Candi: We still have oil to heat our house. We could be on a monthly budget but that never works out for us. We do better this way. We looked into replacing the oil tank with other forms of heat but in the end nothing was really cost effective. Kindof like buying a new hybrid car when you don't need a new car, just better fuel efficiency. In the end you spend the same, or more.

MKY: So we need to look into the Dolphin. I knew there was one that is more desirable but I did not know which one. Now I do.

Tomar: Glad the Princess is doing better each day.

EE22: Glad you got some sleep. I can't function without it and I am wicked cranky.

the codes for southwest comes out nov 6. is there a certian time you can get them? i was thinking about going online after midnight. i have to beat someone (who i won't mention there name) to that website.

i love donald duck but i also like humphrey the bear. he was in the cartoons with the park ranger. i think he is still at the wilderness lodge.

Update # 2 on the Princess
I was very sad this morning ...DS and DDIL actually had to take her back to the hospital .....she slept on and off all night and day...and refused anything to eat or drink .....they were afraid she`d get dehydrated ,so the Doc said to take her back to be checked...it turned out that she wasn`t (thank Goodness)...but the doctor gave them a Sepository for the pain med to help her feel bettter to drink and eat ....also they want her to take tylenol....tonight she was watching her Disney DVD`s and feeling alittle better

MKY- awww..thank you for thinking of Us on Friday... ......I wish you were PP`s nurse at the hospital tooooooo Then I DEFINATELY would feel comfortable that she was in Good Hands !!!!!

TP2- we have the heat on too....Ours is Gas heat...but alot of people in New Jersey have Oil heat too.....I actually hate the gas heat....for allergies its the worst !!!......Very Dry !!!
When I was a kid (a gazillion years ago ) we had "Hot water" heat....the baseboard type....that is supposed to be a good source of heating for the allergic person....

EE22-Liking the "Deals at Disney" part of the equation too !!

Hi Bug!!

Forgot to answer mky on the teacher discount. I did look into it, but my family consists of AKL Snobs! They refused to stay there.

I don't know about the sales for SW...I just know when we had the tickets I checked morning and afternoon (at least) for prices to go down and would jump on any price decrease.

About Ding!
TP2...I get what you mean about SW having sales. However, if a Ding came out during the day, I would not be able to purchase it at work...not allowed. So, even though I installed it I'm not sure I could ever purchase it. I did take advantage of the sales though.

Humphry: Usually SW releases new rates in the morning. I would always check 8:00am ET and I would watch and wait for the prices to come out. I have never seen anything come out at midnight but you never know. All I can say is that SW prices flucuate on a regular basis so keep checking. Even after you book you can always get a credit.

Tomar: So sorry to hear about the Princess. Thank goodness she did not need to go on i.v. So hope that tomorrow will be a better day for all of them. It is so hard to have a sick child. My heart goes out to them all.

So here we go with my crazy addictions to bring the "magic" home. I am in search of a train that does the Polar Express. I found one way upstate NY, about 8 hours from here. I want something closer but I am not having any luck. I would have to buy tickets soon as they sell out. Have to look out for this.

Got cancelled today from work. We are down again. But am making a whooping $2.50 / hr seating at home "on call". Call is mandatory.

Tomar, So sorry about That is exactly what happens. You get behind on the pain, and can't catch up. As soon as you get to that spot > they stop eating and just keep getting worse. Make take the medicine, even if she doesn't want to. Or isn't a good medicine taker. Truely, the only way through this. Hopefully, they will start seeing a little improvements lasting longer each time.

TP2, Actually, I think most of the people prefer the swan. Because of the 2 queen bed vs. dbl's. Although, I heard they where changing to all queens. Our problems at the swan = We where there while people smoked in lobby > was terrible, and with the conferences was really bad. The pools are farther from swan. No laundry, you have to go to dolphin. The kicker; the room. Tub had to be re-washed, filthy, It was used? and dirty towels on bathroom floor. We had a king studio suite, and only so many available. view was 3rd floor, and smoking area of employees. Oh yeah, I was thrilled. We tried to move, and they kept no available, or try tommorrow..... . After 2 days and unable to change to any room in s or d > We gave up and said we wanted to move. They would not prearrange to move us the next day even. After we got home, they sent me somthing for 2 free nites there and I threw them in the garbage. I liked the dolphin, they have lot going for them. Great pool, nice location. Lots of resturants. Not sure I would do this again thou. We are disney snobs too.:wizard

MKY: You are right. I wanted to stay in the one with 2 queen beds. I would only do it if we got an amazing rate. In 2003, they had rooms for $99 per night. I can't believe I did not jump on that. I just priced out AKL and we can only stay in a 1 bedroom now. They changed the rules I guess because of the villas. The villas are $350 per night. Too much for us. Value is calling us, that is all I know. But those date for 40% code totally stink. I am praying other dates become available. I guess it is still early.

Tomar: Hope that baby is doing better today. I have her on my mind constantly.

Hi MKY !....You continue to be such a great support for us at this time with the Perfectly Princess ....Are your ears ringing ??? LOL...I continually tell DS what you are so graciously telling me.... to help us through her recovery ...thank you again... she is drinking and eating alittle more today

About the Swan- YIKES ! ...Im sorry that you guys had a bad experience there....Mr. Tomar and I Kinda figured that those 2 Resorts (though really Gorgeous to behold)...are very into the conventions and conferences....too much traffic ......and the way your explaining ...not very convienent with the laundry and pool situation

I bet the Swan and Dolphin would remind me of CSR. That was a disaster. Wonder though if it is bad compared to Poly or bad compared to POR or Values? One year I went from YC to POFQ. It was awful. All we kept saying was that if we had just been at POFQ we would have loved it but coming from YC, it was a huge downer.

It was 38 degrees here this am. I think I will win the snow contest. But not sure if I want to. Work went from 3 patients yesterday to 9 today. Great asthma weather. Keeps us busy. But I am using inhaler too. Anyone doing christmas shopping yet?

Tomar, Hope She is doing better. Had a t&a today too. Its in season. Getting it done and out of the way for the approaching holidays.

TP2, For the CR we have been staying in tower and mkv so it is usually 300 > 400 / nite The closer to 300 the better. But the garden. For the std view [parking lot] should be closer to 200.00 and as you get to garden view, lake, pool > would approach 300. Last time we did garden view / pool > think I paid about 220.00 and that was several years ago. I have seen the 238.00 price and thats not bad. My problem too is we are planning 2 trips and both in high season. March & oct. That is not helping. I think that is a fair price for cr, I once paid 199.00 / tower mkv / club level. That would be great in todays world. Not gonna happen anytime soon thou. Did you check out the pictures on deb's line allearsnet? The tower and garden rooms are identical only view and location is different. The walk to mk is nothing less than 5 minutes. And yes, even with our room in tower > we like to park by south garden so > we walk to tower constantly and it is not bad. It is completely covered walkway. Any other ? let me know. Amenities CR has your other choices do not: electric light parade 2 viewings front and back of tower, fireworks from mk can be seen from the front of cr or [super secret>> go in the stairwell of the tower, block the door to stay open and you have a private balcony for fireworks viewing.] marina, beach, boats to wl, fw, [gf, or poly through mk] monrail acess, walkway to and from mk. Yes, there are some convention folks, but aside from lunch break, keeps the pool crowds down.

EE22, Lots of rumors about dining opening up for march? Talking about this weekend? Keep your eyes open.

MKY: Thanks for info on Cont. Where did you hear about free dining coming out for March? I have not heard a thing. Getting back to the cont, other than location, it is not looking too appealing to me. The pool looks so business and adult. I would still love to stay there for the convenience but I can see us (the kids) being happier, overall, someplace else. But DH would love to just monorail it over to MK at 3:00pm after me and the girls arrived early in the morning. Just being able to head back for a nap or use the bathroom. I hate public bathrooms. I definately feel that the values are too far to head home for a nap and then go back again. Too much time in transportation. We usually sleep in and then stay until we are done. I keep saying this but I need to wait for discounts and then book based on what is available.

The Princess is at least drinking out of her "Chip" tea cup ...YAAY....this recovery is taking baby steps....but.... at least it`s going in the right direction !!
