Hey all my friends from the June, July, August code watch thread. Just wanted to start a new place for us to come and discuss our planning. We will put all of the code !#!* behind us and think happy Disney thoughts.

Question for you, if you know, do they sedate children for an upper gi? I did not think so but then her pediatrician said they would as we were leaving. I think she got the tests confused.

I think it is time to start packing. Gotta get that luggage from the attic.

Hey TP2, No we don't sedate for upper gi. > That is the test where you have to drink (swallow) the barium fluid. Only other way to do it, is to insert NG (nasogastric tube) from nose to stomach and put in the barium through the tube. So you have to be awake for the test.
Yes, I am off all weekend, we should just dissappear and show up at wdw this weekend.

There is a POP Fridge swap that really needs your help. They have a HUGE gap between 7/12-8/11 that needs to be filled or they will most likely lose their fridge if anyone is interested here is the link:

Disappearing sounds good right about now. Wonder what flights would cost.

Christi: I think that most of the people on this thread are staying DVC or deluxe and already have a fridge. If I were going, I would be right on it but this group is all set. Thanks for the heads up.

I just checked my ticker. I leave in 4 days and my luggage is still in the attic. If we were going to WDW my luggage would have been packed a month ago.

Saw my old friends last night for my girlfriends 40th bday. Told them I want a 40th birthday trip next year instead of a party. Maybe stay at Poly. They said they were all planning on taking their kids during the next year so maybe they will wait and go with me and my family. That would be a blast. Nothing like good, old friends.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful time. Gotta get my luggage.

MKY - so sorry to hear about the shoots. Sounds horrible. I think that is why a lot of the folks from the US come over here for the fireworks show.

We are not immune from it though. We have a very large bar district that the US kids come over to since our drinking age is 19 and their's is 21. We have had more shooting and fights because of the bars than anything else. I would support raising the age to 21 to reduce some of the problems we are having. Our policing costs are crazy because of it.

I am glad you are down to the three week mark...it will pass quickly.

I had the bike out yesterday (and will later today) and did some skills riding to brush up. It is a lot heavier than my last bike - about twice and I need to learn to manage the weight better than I am. Plus I am rusty and have lost a lot of muscle since I sit behind a desk so much. No busy traffic and no kids on the back till I am up to my own standard...which is really high. I am really particular about safetly on the bike and I am considering taking the coarse again if I don't get back up to spead fast enough. But I think it is just the practise that I need.

TP2 - the group trip sounds like a "Grand" idea! I love going with friends. It just is more fun to have a group. Try to have fun on the trip even though it is not Disney.

EE22. Welcome home! Sorry. Pictures where all wonderful. Looks like everyone was happy. You got to see the studios fireworks. Thats a coo. Did they inflate the big mickey or change it. I didn't see him in the pictures (he could of been obstructed by sky rockets). This is my favorite show. I love the movie music with it.

Minnie, you should be on your way! Have a great time.

Speaking of not being ready, Candi? You are very close and should be busy too. Just put the bike down, You can do it.

I actually cleaned out some draws today and "thought" about packing. Well still have 3 weeks.

Vader is once again, more healthy. He is doing well.

We saw Walle' and sorry, it was my first pixar, i didn't like. Story seemed slow, liked walle as a character, just didn't like the plot> of his adventure. What did you guys think. Could be the "fat" thing? Found that offensive.

Flying question: Can you use one of those weekly pill carriers and just take that or are you supposed to carry each perscription bottle?

MKY - I am busy trying to divide my time between organizing the cruise photos into a DVD (lots of time but incredible results), the DVD movie from our March trip that is still in rough form, trying to get the house organized...what happened around here? With my working so much, the house has exploded into chaos and trying to get motivated to pack for next weekend.... it's next weekend that we leave. Oh and a bit of time on the bike. Both DDs have been hogging it with Dad....they are hooked now! Don't worry, we bought them well fitting, good quality, and way cool helmets. They ware pants and proper shoes and at least a light jacket.

I printed some park tips off of TGMs today. We shall see if we use them.

So, if I have this right. EE is just getting back. Minnie is leaving, TP2 is leaving soon and Tomar is there now?

MKY - what is the studio fireworks? Not Fantasmic? I am not aware of any other fireworks at the studio or was it a 4th of July thing?

I need new gloves for the bike because the grips are making my hands sweat and thanks to all the other women riding bikes now, I can actually look for ladies riding gloves In the OLD DAYS..I had to buy a small mens glove because women didn't ride bikes...just took rides on them.

The studios firework show, was before Fantasmic. The would close down the back a little early and shoot them over and behind the chinese theater. I guess I am having a senior moment cause I can't remember what the show was called. This may of been different / or change too for the fourth of july. But it was previously there nitely show. Which I always felt was the best.

I am so over illuminations. They need to work on that show. The original show was much better with the countries music and lighting of the pavilion. Only show worse than illuminations = the epcot parade / hand in hand. That was the worse. You would get by the crowd and away from it and then it was back, what a mess. Didn't like the music repeating and that drum. I know people love both of these things, but very glad the parade is gone and hopefully they will update illuminations sometime.

MKY: Call TSA and find out about the pills because the rules change all the time. 2 years ago I used the daily pill thing but last year I needed the bottles with the prescription labels. Of course you could pack it but them that is not advisable. I used the daily box for aspirin, tylenol, vitamins, all that stuff and shoved it in my checked bag no problem. Prescriptions that are necessary went in carry on in original box.

Started laundry and packing. Started to clean the car but ran out of time. Have 2 doctor appointments today and then need to clean. My house is trashed. Maybe DH will take the kids out for awhile so I can take care of stuff.

Heard same thing about Wall-E. Have not seen it yet but was told not to waste my money.

EE22: Welcome Home. Going to miss the daily pictures. I will send stuff when we get home. I don't ususally have a lot of free time with the 3 kids. They keep me busy.

Hi All...we are home and so very sad. We are all very tired not really a vacation.

Not much time this am as DD has driver's ed at 8 am!!

Fireworks at DHS were behind the hat. Didn't see a Mickey?? We went to MK on the 3rd, but my camera wouldn't work on those...not really sure why either. DS and DH came to DHS with us which was fun because they usually don't come out for those. They were awesome. They only have them on the 4th and New Year's Eve from what I can remember. They were GREAT!! MK were also wonderful too. We cannot decide which ones were better thoug...the DHS ones had rock music which the DD and DS enjoyed.

Better get a move on!!

We leave again Friday...we think...have to wait and see how the kids throw this week with being gone for so long and being so tired.

I hope the dates for next summer's track meets come out soon so we can plan our getaway!!
