Bug sends her "thank you's"! Yes my little DS is another year older. Time is ticking away.

Bug also found the "new" discount for late spring through early June and we saved alot of $. WooHoo. She said she felt like there might be something out and surprise she was right. We are staying with being frugal and opting for an entire trip to CSR. We really liked the pool area and the adult atmosphere there. Yes, there still are families but in comparison to some resorts > we felt it was more adult / or adult themed activities.
Now, we have to figure out how to tell "dad" he is babysitting the twins again ?????

Hiya everyone,

Is everyone settled into 2015 yet?
Lets see our whole house is passing around a nasty bug.
The weather here is TERRIBLE. We have been sub zero for over 3 days. Gotten about 4 to 6 inches of snow on the ground and today we are having high winds and its all blowing around.
Well the good news is the furnace is working Bad news the refrigerator died So delievery will be tommorrow if the weather isn't too terrible.

I need some Still hoping to go down to florida in may / june. Will see what happens next. Can't plan to far in advance.

Tomar and TP2 > this weather is heading your way look out. It is very nasty.

EE22, have you settle back in after your wonderful trip.
We are hoping you turned it around for the rest of us > cause of the "rain" of 2014

AP question > anyone know if you buy your ap online at disney or call > is it "activated" or just a vouchure? I want to have our tix by the 60 day fp+ time but don't want to waste months of tix use if its already active.
I thought if you bought at disneystore > they where just vouchures. And if you have a vouchure can you make fp+ ressies?

MKY: This weather needs to go
So sorry about the fridge. Not good, but good that the heat is still on.
Last night was the worst night over all. The blowing snow was horrid.

I thought I knew the answer to the voucher question, but I'm not 100% sure now that I think about it. I am pretty sure you can load a voucher, but I'm not sure about if you get them at different places. I cannot believe that they are active either.

They sure have made things complicated that's all I know.

Yes, I hope the rain is gone for 2015. One night it poured and I mean poured, but other than that...the weather was the best we ever had on any trip even the summer trips because of the amazing heat.

I'm in a mess here because the state is dictating start dates more for schools so I'm not sure when our Christmas break is. We have a calendar done, but I'm not sure we'll be able to use it.

Midori has pretty much taken control planning her Korea trip. Wish People To People Ambassador Program had a Korea Trip. When Midori went to Australia 2 years ago, planning was much easier.

I may go with Midori the first week and then come back home, letting her stay for 3 more weeks without me. I am going to miss Disney this year..

10 pm at night and its -1 now. That is no wind chill either
We are starting to become hermits hiding at home to stay warm
Upside today no new snow.
Are fridge got here 5 pm. Then cleaning and fixing everything ugh and then another $200 at store for stuff we threw out. Ugh
Dad said he had new cars that where cheaper than this fridge.

Hello dear friends! Sorry I have been away for so long. I miss all of you and think of you often.

Life has been a crazy and there are days that it is all I can do to get through them. There wasn't even time to spend surfing for my beloved Disney adventures.

My youngest daughter (DD16 now) has been struggling with depression and a host of things that often brings with it. But things seem to be improving a bit so I am hoping we have turned a corner at last. The last year and a half have been bad! She is spending the night at a friends tonight for the first time in what seems like for ever!

The last link I had in my in box took me to the closed thread so I am happy to see you stared a new one.

We are finally heading back to Disney this May. (maybe MKY will want to tag along?) It will be our 25th wedding anniversary this year so we have a bunch of people coming with us to Disney again. We did a big family trip in 2012 was the last time we were there. The new system is making it much harder to plan. I have to learn it all over again now.

Hopefully I will be able to get online a bit more now as I really did miss everyone.

Okay...mky...you made a great point...when did tickets go up last year? I thought Feb perhaps.

I'm not sure what we are doing because of no calendar but I sort of know I won't be there on the 24th and 25th I "have to" make a reservation in 7 days for AKV though. Decisions. Working off another new schedule with DD too next year. It shouldn't be this complicated. It's vaca.

I saw the deal you got in on mky...I think you said that. Must have come out while we were gone.

EE22, Good luck booking. I don't know if you can do it or not > but I usually add a day or two on the beginning and end. Till you get your dates, for sure.

I called wdw today about the ap's. She said they are vouchures and good till when ever you activate them with 1st use. But, that I can add them to "my disney" and be able to book fp+ at 60 days with our wdw ressies.
I did see ap rates are out till june 15th. But, cannot access it yet.

Happy friday.
I got our ap's by calling wdw. They are still vouchures > and you can link them to your ressies.
So saved about 250.00 with the ap discount over the spring deal. Luckily CSR was about the only resort with all our dates and the water view we wanted.
Now, just waiting to hear about bug's job and vacation request.
Will see what happens. Not getting my heart set yet.

Funny, after the crappy weather for both trips 2014, I am actually kinda looking forward to it. Which took about 3 months to occur. Starting to feel withdrawl.

It was 42 degrees here today. And the snow melted some but not gone hardly at all. This is some weird weather.

Our 2 DS`s have a birthday, a week apart, and our little Prince is on the 26th...I`ve been feeling the last few years , like we have a Second Christmas the month after the first one ! lol But, these things are happy ones, and I`ll take that all the time

We stayed at the Grand for our 25th, it was Amazing, be sure to let your resort know about your celebration !

MKY- Looks like your Planning for Spring is in full Swing
Glad you were able to get your AP`s again.
There was a DVC deal this year for tickets, a 4 day 4 park tic for a great price, so I jumped on it back in Oct. However the trick to the great price was: one day at one park (can`t go to Epcot twice and leave out AK for example)....that`s it....and that was fine for us ....we are doing this trip after the big EVENT for our DS and future DDIL in May, so no problem , and we saved money. Our PAP`s expired in August, and this was perfect.
Here`s the thing with linking our tics....when I bought them through DVC, I was given a will call #....to be placed on my MDX acct. ....so NO actual ticket was sent to us at all.....I had a confirmation #, that`s it. After I hung up ,I went to MDX and there they were !
We had 2 extra tickets that the kiddos didn`t use the last time they came down, and those I linked myself (just to go to Epcot twice since we have never been for F&G) Looking soooo forward to seeing that !!

EE22- How did you make out with your Ressies for AKV ?.....I hope Every day you wanted , you were able to get.....Smoothly
Trust me I know, as time goes on..... As the kiddos` Plans go....so does ours ....when they get older.

RHMH- Great news on your trip to Korea this summer !!! Wonderful !

Hi everyone.

Thanks for the support. It is appreciated. Yes being a teen these days is harder than it was for us. Dang social media does not help. We won't let her have a Facebook account but Twitter and such are bad enough. Tonight it was a fight over chores. So she will have to get up early to take the bus in the morning as I won't be driving her.

I am once again looking for work.. The company I was with the last 4 years had to cut costs....so out I go (a week ago today). I was ready for a change so am not upset about it but will miss the pay cheque till I find something new.

Then on Friday we had to put down our dear old dog. She was such a wonderful dog. The house is so lonely without her. I was hoping I would be able to spend the last couple of weeks with her as we new her time was drawing near. She was almost 14. But I only had 2 days. She was starting to suffer and I could see how sad she was. I changed my profile picture to Ginger as I have never figured out how to import them.

So I am trying to spend some time getting the planning under way for May to distract myself. Tomar when are you going?

I am trying to figure out how to plan FastPass + for the 12 people on our up coming trip. What do you think? Should I book the rides I want to go on for everyone and if they want to change it they can after I get what I think is best?

I have been reading on line about which rides to book first. Toy Story is a MUST!
