MKY - glad your trip was a success. With all of the construction going on, I bet it does look like a war zone..

Reason for being MIA - Midori was ask to the homecoming football game and dance.. soooooo, I have been shopping for a dress, shoes getting her nails and hair done for the festivities..

The homecoming festivities was a success.

Now Midori has a BAE (The kids call it) Before Anyone Else.. What happened to going steady, boyfriend or girlfriend.

OMG - when did BAE come into the dating frenzy?

Tomar, I wish I had a good excuse, but we don't.
-- Not sure how Dad will be, he just turned 85 Even thou he is a very healthy 85.
-- A little[and i mean little] disalusioned with WDW. Yes, I know OMG. Only because out of near 30 days in florida this year we had nearly all 30 have some kind of rain. People tend to be nastier when there expensive vacations are ruined by bad weather. And that was sooooooooooo evident this sept.
--What will happen with bugs situation? Will she be working? Have her other knee surgery?
-- and then we seriously considered disneyland / california but it is a big anniversary year 2015 for them so kinda a turn off will be more crowded?
-- We are leaning now towards doing a few cities in florida we are interested in seeing, and maybe start and end at wdw? Do not plan to get ap this year, unless there is a crazy discount.

I am imaging a great party in your future. So so so sweet! So happy for your son.

Well hello everyone. Thank you all so much for all of the birthday wishes. You can see from our posting activity that we are all very busy lately. So for birthday weekend I had my grandmother and father in the hospital and my DD15 in the ER. Things finally getting back to normal. Fall sports season is starting to wear on me. Feel like all I do is run. I know I will miss this all one day but right now we need a real meal!!! I don't even have a minute to go food shopping!

Still working on pictures from our trip, forget about a trip report.

MKY: I was not feeling the magic so much this year either. It was very amusement parkish, if that makes sense. In the past, I would love going to Disney, not for the attractions and food but for the level of comfort, ease, and love I would feel while there. There was a sense of magic and positive energy in the air. Not so much the case this year. It was clean and we had fun. Food was fine, no complaints. But no more going above and beyond for the guest. Almost as if they are so sick of the complainers and people looking to get something that now all guests are wrong and you have to really prove when you truly have a problem. Sad to see this happen.

TP2, Exactly. Your right, we felt the same thing. We thought, it was caused by the terrible rain > but seems like you had the same thing going on.

EE22, what is the count down to??????

** about 3 nites ago I took the boys out and we had a snow flurry. OMG Today at 7am it was 40 degrees. Our trees are loosing leaves at a very fast pace.

Is everyone ready for halloween? Got all my stuff up and hoping better weather than last year for the trick and treaters. It was cold and raining last year. ugh.

They have improved the FP+ reservations since last fall.
However, one improvement I don't like is the tiers so I guess that's not an improvement, but a horrible change. We cannot ride TSM as a group...only RnR and I'm not sure I'll ride it, but someone will use my turn. DS doesn't care. DD does so I'm not sure even if we go at opening if they will let us ride. I've heard that the only way you can ride it is with a FP

I'm glad we went for so many years when we did with the old system.

I also had to give up Star Tours for DD and I to do the Frozen sing along, but loads of people has said that it's great so we'll do that. Star Tours will be there and we've been on it many times.

I guess with all the changes in our lives...it's another change that's not for the better.

But, we'll all be together again so that's ultimately what matters

Ee22, glad you got your itinerary set. Lots of decisions. Especially at that time of year

Halloween here in the great midwest. 38 degrees snow flurries off and on, wind up to 70 mph, But no rain.
Most costumes where coat mitten and mask eith hat. Poor kids. Was just sad
