Can anyone speculate why Disney is doing this? I wish we could talk to an employee who really knows something about this subject!

It just seems so odd that they won't have summer rates and that no one has heard anything!

I have been reading on here every morning to find out if you all have heard about any codes. Our trip is also in July! After reading this morning I had to laugh real hard, it is so funny that there are so many teachers on here! My husband and I are also teachers. Do you think the fact that we are all hoping for codes says something about teacher's salaries? We too only have about 12 days. I did sign up for summer school, just in case I don't get that code!! Thanks for keeping everyone up to date on the codes! I am going to keeping my fingers crossed that something comes out before my 45 day window!

I, too, am a teacher!! I am hoping for a code for my July trip (probably the reason so many teachers are on this code watch is as much related to calendar - we have July off - as salary. EVERYONE can use a code!) Sadly, I don't finish school until June 23rd. However, I leave the 25th for Orlando, since the NEA Representative Assembly is in my beloved Orlando this year!

Mokena here!! Hello southsiders! Just trying to get a room for the 29th of June. Hoping the codes will come out so maybe everyone will get there rooms and they will open some up just regular rack rate. I am getting to disney on the 29th and my ressies do not start until the 30th!!

It's funny I noticed the same thing...my DH is also a teacher. Come on codes....come out, come out, where ever you are.

I, too, am a teacher!!

Me too - but I'm in England and we do not finish until July 21st!
We are hoping for an AP code for August 10 - 13 (we are at DVC for the following 11 days)
My question is this - if free dining plan is available for August 13th onwards, do you think we will have a better or worse chance of getting a discount for August 10 - 13? And thanks to everyone who calls Disney every day and keeps us informed. Keep up the good work!

Hello all! Well I just wanted to let you all know that I cancelled our ressie for June 9-19 at CSR in case anyone wanted to try and pick it up.

We were able to rent points from someone and are staying at OKW. Never been there but hope we like it!

I will still be checking and hoping for codes for all of you! I want to thank you for making this whole waiting game an enjoyable experience. Good luck to all of you and have magical vacations!!

Thought I would introduce myself because I have been lurking on this thread for the past 2 weeks. Something I rarely do because I am a gifted chatter box by nature.

Anyway, we are waiting on and a code for August 7-11. Staying at the GF for the first time and going without the kids for the first time in 6 years

We are still going if they don't come out, but it's always nice to save just a little more than what AAA gave us.

Thank you to all that have been checking daily. I check here numerous times daily to see if anyone has good news.

ya know the first person to report a code for June, July, or August will be a hero!

Thanks for checking and posting. I have no hope for the rest of this week or the weekend but I am thinking that maybe next week. There was a release date of May 8 in the past. I am thinking maybe Tuesday of next week. I will keep my fingers crossed but I don't think I am doing the early morning thing for a few days.

We decided not to share a room with R & D, I reserved a room at the All Stars Movies. I saw it online and thought the girls would love it. It also gives us a chance to check out other resorts. 57 days til Disney. Yahoo!!! Johnny Depp here we come!!
