Thanks for calling guys .... I'm running a few mins late, so you saved me a few cell mintues!

Ratpack - check mousesavers & the AAA website - you can get a really good idea of the discounts from those. We joined AAA last night since we're already booked with that discount. Something's better than nothing & we need to be AAA members with all the miles we drive (especially me!).

DofD - we'll be there @ the same time!!! I just realized that. We're booked 7/1(offsite until the 2nd) through 7/9.

Just called, nothing yet! Trent said they are waitin just as we are. He also said "I am sure your boards will know about an hour before we do..."

I find that hilarious....

Maybe tomorrow. Don't give up hope ladies... Sorry Kinggoofy, I have a new refridgerator box if you need some temporary shelter....

This is really getting disheartening. Us AP's holders are just being pushed aside along with fellow Floridians waiting for the FLA rates.

AAA is better than nothing. I am probably going to pay off room tomorrow this way its all paid for when we get there June 14.

For all of you who wish to know what me an my dog look like right now.....
envision the old man and his skinny dog near the end of the Haunted Mansion ride.....THATS US !!!!!!!

I did that yesterday. Figured, might as well get it done. Now, if something miraculously does come out. They'll just credit the CC back, right (its a debit CC so it really will be paid for ) Now I just need to save up extra for meals and souveneirs.. Fun times.

Perhaps you could call up Disney in the US and ask to book the AAA rates, you need to be in the AA though although I don't think you need the card until arrival, its only about £35-£40 for basic membership and you can get discounts at US with that too.

I just spent the last 1/2 hr researching the wdw web site: for my date (all 18 of them) it is very wide open. So that is keeping me very hopeful that with availability = comes discounts.

You are HILARIOUS! I really needed that laugh today - thank you! I'm more like the opera singer with the viking hat on.

Where will you be June 14? We'll be at WL on June 18...it'd be neat to just say hey to ya. I'll have my green mickey's pinned to our stuff!

And you're right, it is disheartening. Just get the whole idea of a discount out of your head, just assume there won't be one, pay off your trip, and be wonderfully surprised when/if a code comes out!
That's going to be my approach.
