I called today, 4/12 @ 9:30 AM - no AP rates,

BUT ... the current rates end ..
2/16/06 - 4/13/06 EZK
and
4/23/06 - 6/03/06 EZN

So maybe AP rates will be out soon...

CODES - my guess - from letter K to N is 3 characters and period of time rate is good for is 3 months.

If the next set of rates are June/July/Aug (since free dining starts end of Aug) then that would be 3 months - and 3 characters from N would be Q...
AP code for summer months would be EZQ ????

All I know is it is refreshing to see that I am not the only one absolutely obsessed and crazy with this whole thing. For a while my DH was ready to have me committed, now he asks (as I crawl in and out of bed at 7:00am) did you get what you have been looking for? I think my family will be more happy than me when they finally come out.

For those of you who are regular callers, how do you get around the many questions asked by the computer? And, once you reach an operator, is there a quick and easy way to check availability/rates first before they go through the entire list of who will be the guests, confirm my email, etc.?

I'm assuming you booked through disney cro and applied the aaa discount instead of booking through aaa and doing a package. if through cro, you can definitely switch to the code if a better rate comes out. we did exactly that last june.

called this afternoon and spoke with a CM who said the code should be out,"within the next couple of weeks." Isnt that what we always hear,lol.

I had to call today and see if rates are out for myself!! The CM laughed and said not yet. I asked him what is going on this year. He laughed and said they are just trying to drive all of us on the boards crazy!! He also said "honestly", they have no idea until the morining the rates come out and said calling 1 time a week should be fine to check!!

I can't stand the wait anymore either. I just called because I had to hear for myself. I was hoping for some sort of clue as to when but she said she had no idea.

I know I'm stupid, but can someone explainth codes to me? I get that it is for a discount, but are the codes used for booking through WDW? Are they for values or all resorts?

When disney has rooms to fill, they release discount codes. Sometimes these are for annual pass (AP) holders, sometimes for Disney Visa customers, and sometimes just for the general public. Sometimes for room discounts and recently for free dining. You can read more about this at www.Mousesavers.com under WDW discounts. You can usually book these with Disney directly or thru a travel agent. Good luck and welcome to the watch!

I swear I must be sick or crazy. I find myself calling at 7am, at lunch, and 9 pm when my minutes are free. i get the same answer every time. you would think I would learn. The answer is NO.Im addicted to saving money. Disney please help!!

This is very sad. I am thinking that it is not looking good for tomorrow either. It always seems that someone gets in before the end of the night but nothing today. I really think now that it may be April 20th. Only time will tell I guess.

I'm wondering if Disney is trying to be sure those folks who are booked with packages and the 45 day cancellation requirement cannot switch to an AP. As I have posted before, in 2003 we waited until April 23, I believe before release of June rates--although that release date included May! Trying to figure out the thought process behind the release dates is pointless. . .we'll just have to keep on checking and checking. . .

When you look at mousesavers too, it was only 7 days before the code started in April! ICK!!!

NO! He said your mickey monitor will tell you before we know. I explained that I do not have my AP yet, so I dont have it. This is the only time I will get to WDW this year, and there is 3 rooms we have reserved(cabins at ft wilderness) so a good Ap rate would be worth it, but sensless if there were no AP rate. He did not like hearing that. I guess it is people like me that they had the BRP for. He tried teling me that My meager AAA rate would be similar to the AP rate anyway. now come on. Im not stupid.Really tried to make the AP sound bad. that there may not be anymore codes till after August/sept. I dont get it I am very nice and polite when I call. They just dont like me.

This is not good. Not good at all. Most of you are looking for AP codes and nothing is out yet. I'm way back in line behind the AP holders and the Visa card holders this year. I'm just a part of the "general public" looking for a code. I may as well search the inside of the couch for spare change and go out and buy a lottery ticket at this point because I'll have just about the same chance of getting anywhere. Although I just can't give up on the idea that miracles can happen........I could get a PIN code, or win on that lottery ticket......anyhow.....I will never give up, never surrender, I'll just keep chugging along checking every morning like everyone else hoping for a little pixie dust to come my way.

(Although....... I would just like to add that this routine of starting the day with a big letdown is starting to get a little old.) I would much rather be doing the happy dance.

In their defense, they have sales goals.... every call just to check is one that doesn't get them towards their goal. (Not to mention how would you like to come to work and spend your first half hour listening to the exact same question 30 times)
