June/July/August 2006 Code watch

We have booked for May at the current discount, but a project has come up that I have work on (I'm self-employed) so I have to cancel and reschedule for June. I would like to go the week of June 5. Here's hoping there's a code.

Anyone care to give us the latest info - meaning if you have called..what info if any did the CM give you?

Not much really info from WDW besidse the usually. Many here are guessing next week is the week for AP rates for June

I'm not sure. If deluxes didn't switch seasons, I'd say "yes" but I'm not sure with their change of season. When they were later like this in 2003 it went to 7/4, but it started the end of April.

Who knows what will happen at this point.

My crew poo-pood on the WL idea so I rearranged - AKL concierge the first weekend and the Poly the next. Appartently theres a fairly large wedding taking place at the Poly on the weekend of July7-9 and thats why the rooms went from everything available to nothing in one day. The CM I spoke to said they had a huge chunk of rooms blocked out for the wedding. They should all be gone when I checkin on the 14th. Woo-hoo Poly here we come.

There's a way to get us off the phone that early--release the darn AP rates beyond 6/3!

My husband made the call this a.m., rep had only this to say "nothing yet nothing to add". . .guess that means she was clueless when the release date may be. . .

I had the heavy call volume message...wishful thinking though on my part.
Maybe next week since there is one that expires tomorrow.

I was told this morning to try in a couple more weeks, but yesterday the cm said she would have expected them by now and to try every couple days. A couple days ago the cm said this weekend or Monday. I really believe they dont know anymore than we do, either that or they get their kicks messing with us.Im torn. I'll just keep on trying. Thanks to everyone else that helps keep us posted. I always call too(usually late after 9pm when my minutes are free) you never know when someone may say call back in the morning and we will have them.

Hi guys, ok, so here`s my little bit of info for this weekend
I called this morning to add a night to our YC ressies, (before our DVC stay).
Couldn`t wait any longer, soo i reserved with our AAA disc. I asked a very helpful cm, if I`ll be able to change this ressie, to an AP disc, if its available, and she said " oh yes, call back at the end of April or the beginning of may !!
AND THE WAIT CONTINUES !!!

Rate or no rate, I tried to book Wilderness Lodge for 7/12 -7/15. I wanted "cheapo view" and everything was gone except Courtyard View. I wanted the least expensive room so even if good AP rates did not come out I would not have a giganto bill. I was surprised to find all the rooms booked. I am afraid that by the time they DO offer AP rates, most of the rooms will be spoken for already!

We'll probably just go to Riverside. It's only for 3 nights 'til we go to a DVC room anyhow, but I really wanted WL.

I wanted to chime in here again because I think that the next round of AP rates may happen sooner than we're being led to believe.......

Looking on the WDW Passholder site, there are 2 AP "codes". The first is for dates of 02/20/06 - 04/08/06 (today)

Here's the quote from the site....

"Rate available most nights Sunday through Thursday 02/20/06 – 04/08/06 in a standard room. The number of rooms available at this rate are limited. Other room types are available at varying rates."


The second set of dates are for 04/23/06 - 06/03/06.....

Now, knowing that there can onle be 2 "codes" out there at a time & one expires today, one would assume that a new code should be available tomorrow, at the earliest.........Mabye Monday or Tuesday.......
