I even have a color-coded spreadsheet with our SEVEN resort preferences, listed in preferencial order with room type, total cost with tax, and cost including park tickets. Our current reservation info is on the sheet and the phone numbers for CRO (like I'm going to forget them!) That way I'm ready when and if I finally get to call. Anyone else as nuts as me? I've never been like this in previous years!

Count me in for the support group! Until a week or so ago, I hadn't been to the boards for months....now I can barely tear myself away!



I wake up at 5:00 am to start getting all the different windows open so I can go get ready for work and then come back to the computer and search away until the last possible minute when it's time to leave! I was spoiled because my son was home sick earlier in the week so I was home all day and could check whenever I pleased. (Read: Every 10 minutes.) Now it's back to school/work and I'm away from the computer from 7:00-3:45 and It's torture! Somewhere in my head I'm sure that every room at AP codes will be gone within minutes of their release.

I am as nuts as you. The only difference between you and me is that my spreadsheet is handwritten and not typed but it really should be. You have given me something else to do while I count away the hours until the codes are released. I am so bad that I had to go away on Tuesday and I carried my 2 sheets of information with me and had all of my phone calls forwarded. I have even slept on the couch twice this week so I could be closer to my computer . See you aren't the only one who need therapy from all of this.

For the first time in days it is down for me too. Maybe this is FINALLY it. I think we decided 7:45pm was the time when they sneaked out at night???

I have been thinking since my talk with "Capucino".

All disney CM's reservations employees are put on alert...but I dont think its tomorrow.

my reason is this...would they put out AP rates that are obviously in high demand on a friday ?? if something goes wrong, ( and we all know how disney computers seem to "fizzle" ) all the disney honchos are off the weekend.Who would be there to fix any glitch???

Im thinking they come out Monday or Tuesday. This way if there is any problem they are fully staffed to correct it.

In the past that I can remember, codes have usually come out on a Tuesday or Wednesday. If im not mistaken, last year the codes came out on the first wednesday in May.

That being said, i will call 6am chicago time tomorrow and see. Do you all get aggravated by that silly answering system..."thanks for calling, yada yada yada." ....i have called so many times, i have just punched the number "1" 12 times to speed things up. 12 numbers in your reservation...and everytime i get right on thru.

Im also glad i already have my AAA reservation booked. We are at POR from June 14 - 25. One conversation i had with a CM was that June was 92% booked. I have a hunch there will be minimal AP rates available for June.

I just went through the booking for an AP rate for June 3rd - June 4th and AKL standard still came up. I figured they would all be gone already.

I started with a handwritten sheet because we've already booked a split stay at AAA rates as our "back up plan." But then we've been weighing the differences in cost, and pros and cons of staying at a couple of different resorts, and which order for the split stay would be the best for us. Then I wanted to compare what the cost would be for booking at AAA rates (which was hard because availability at AAA rates differs between online and what CRO has set aside) vs. the cost with a potential average AP discount. Then came the preferencial order. Last came the color coding: green = Go ahead and book it, yellow = Costs are creeping up; tread lightly, red = I'll be in hot water if I book at those rates!

Boy, do I need a new hobby!

Hey I have one for you, Tuesday I was so sure codes would be out that I must have gotten in a really bad mood after finding out they weren't. Then yesterday morning as I was running to the computer to check codes at 6:15 my teenage DD says 'hope they come out today mom so you'll be in a good mood and not in a bad mood like yesterday!' So this morning after I checked I tried to be cheerful but when I got to work the bad mood came upon me. Then a couple of people where like 'did you not sleep good last night' but I just said 'oh I don't know what's wrong i'm just having an off day' because in truth I was too embarassed to say 'well see i have been waiting for codes for the past 3 months and they still aren't out and then i tried the whole AAA thing yesterday and that went down the tubes so now i am still waiting even though we will still stay at Poly but if the codes came out that would be more money on other things like food and renting a surrey bike or watermice...'. But I know that would look at me like i was insane, put their fingers in their ears, and tell me I was nuts!

Just checked all major sites and nothing changed. I cleared my cookies / files and now can acess passholder site again.

Sounds like a lot of the CMs are saying the same sort of thing....maybe that's a good sign?! Of course, I'm still worried that they will have codes for after the 4th of July...halfway through are trip!

Does the AP Website get updated at the same time as the new codes become available to the CRO CM's? Or is there usually a delay of some kind?

In MY experience there is a delay in the Disney website being updated. Not long, maybe a day or so.
