I can tell you that the passholder rates are listed on line for Travel Agents and can be booked by calling in!! Belle

Is that just for EPCOT RESORTS??? :confused3

Everything that I have read so far indicates that this is just for the YC, BC, BWI, OKW and SSR.

Hmmmmmmm, the CM I spoke to this morning DID tell me to call back b/c you "just never know."

Do you think all those people holding ressies at the GF, Polynesian, Contemporary and WL will see such a deal over at the Epcot resorts and switch? That would open rooms at the MK area resorts thus instilling the need for AP rates! (I love how my sick Disney mind rationalizes these things!!!) :lmao:

Any thoughts? I might call CRO again and see if the offer is still the same...

I just heard from my travel agent and the YC concierge rate was not available for my dates of the 14-22, however BW was and we could save $442 if we switch. DH is thinking it over.

The AP discounts have been extended - but - only for a few resorts. Not the Poly (darn), GF, CR, or AKL. The guy on the phone did not mention All Stars either. He was talking too fast and I am at work, but he did mention BC, YC, OKW... Sorry for incomplete info - just bummed about the Poly. We're going to the Poly in July anyway, but Cirq and the luau just took a hit... :clown:

From the info here, it would seem that they have thrown the annual passholders a small bone with what they could offer given the limited availability.

I have to go join the December code watch. Maybe I'll join Oct/Nov and watch what unfolds. I wish my flights for Dec would come up so I knew what tickets to buy for June!!!

Is this BW Concierge you're talking about? or just a reg room?

BWI Concierge is wonderful. I would highly recommend going for it!! :thumbsup2

If your "extra person" is under the age of 3, they can sleep in a pac-n-play (or whatever they're calling portable cribs these days LOL) no problem.

Good luck.

Nope sorry you are dead wrong. I am not going to get into a debate about this in this thread but you are 100% incorrect. Call Member Services yourself. I have 5 people listed - with their correct ages - on my reservation in a 1 BR every year. It is allowed - for any age. This is a fact.

If you don't believe me go read the DVC forum.

Congrats to all of you who can take advantage of the rates!!!! :cool1:

ITA that the limited availability is the sole reason why June was skipped & why it's only for selected resorts in July.....I think that this round of rates is a little glimpse into the future of AP rates.....

I'm a bit bummed because we were really hoping for AP rates for our cash stays in June & it looks like we'll have to settle for staying at BWV & VWL.......(I just hope that the jacuzzi tub can ease the pain) :sad2:

The resorts offered are Boardwalk Inn, Yacht Club and Beach Club at $189.00 a night for a standard view room
Saratoga Springs and Old Key West are also being offered at $159.00 a night for a Studio.
Belle

Just an FYI after reading this thread this AM I called to switch from AKL to any of the ones available. (July 5-August 5 I think)

SSR and OKW were-$159 Studio
Boardwalk was $189- Standard
Beach Club only had Water view listed for $255

Those are all without tax. I was in too much of a hurry to ask for others levels. He did say that ONLY those 4 plus Yacht club were being offered. Said June was packed. And also I noticed that these rates end right before Free Dining as well. Good Luck to anyone who can fit these dates. I was expecting a long wait and I got through in about 30 seconds LOL!

I agree. We too like to add a day or 2 before checking into the DVC.

I called this morning and to my dismay was told that the AP rate will be basically skipping over the month of June and it will be offered once again in July. I was very dissapointed because we count on it every year. We are going June 9th to the 18th. We go at the beginning of June every year (for the last 5 years) and have never had a problem before. I have a feeling that they will be very crowded unlike years past. :confused3

Going in June to split the trip between Poly and BC
Aug 2005 - Grand Floridian
June 2005 - Beach Club
June 2004 - Beach Club
June 2003 - Polynesian
June 2002 - Polynesian
August 2001 - AKL

What are ya' gonna' do--last year it was October that fell through the BRP/AP cracks, I guess it's just our turn as June travelers. That doesn't mean I'm not totally bummed, but there's nothing I can do about it.

I wouldn't want to change my vacation to July or August--even if I could--we've gone in August and vowed NEVER again! We spent our entire vacation (10 days) slogging through Tropical Storm Jerry! It was not fun--we had maybe an afternoon of sunshine and then it was too chilly to be in the pool--at least for me! July is even more rainy than June so, no thanks! The heat doesn't bother us, but I do want a bit of sunshine.

So, congrats to those who are able to get the great rates! Think about us poor slobs in June bearing the rack rate (or AAA) to support your AP rates! :lmao:

I am SO bummed about this. We are booked YC in Junc and have been patiently waiting for AP rates. My AP runs out in June and we have gotten AP rates the past two summer for June. I cannot believe they skipped the one month we need -- and it is even at the resort we want at a great rate. Wish we could switch dates. Frustrated!!! :badpc: :badpc:

Congratulations to all who can use it.

Now at least I know that nothing is available for me and I can move on.
