June/July 2007!! Anyone else??

I'll be at there June 15th-24th.

We will be there the 10th thru the 16th of June. We have never been to WDW before so this will be a magical experience for the kids. (and us)

We will be in the parks from June 10-16 and June 21-23, we will be going on the disney cruise inbetween.

We had to postpone our June trip.

But on the happier note - dh got a new job (he'll be starting on Monday w/United Airlines!) Hence why we had to postpone our June trip.

So I'm thinking of either September or October to reschedule.

Ok I know its dang hot & crowded but hey...its WDW! We (my mom, my 2 kids 13 & 10 and myself) are going to at ALL Star Music June 26th-July 6th!!

Work has been truly annoying & depressing lately so as a pick-me-up, I made a magnetic sign for my locker at work laminated with a countdown! Everyday I wipe off the previous days number and correct the countdown (using dry-erase marker)
So today I will change it to 238 days till I get to see Mickey Mouse in WDW!!
Of course my co-workers already know I am WDW obsessed. They have seen me countdown almost a whole year till my WDW trip twice before.

He we (me and my sis) will be down there june 23-july 2 for my 21st b-day on the 24th

June 6-12th the count down has begun. Things are getting scary...One of the kids got sick and we are hoping to get through the virus before we leave. We are also praying all the wild fires are put out soon. We have one child with asma and it could really be bad for him to breath all the smoke.

It's so nice to hear someone will be there in July!! We're going the 22-27. I was beginning to think we'd be alone! We're staying at the WL. My ADRs are made, so now we just need to pack and go! WOuld love to head out right now!!!

Na, I know what you meant, I'm just giving you a hard time. Yea, sometimes around here it's like a mortal sin to not strive for the off season at WDW. It is nice to hear from the other summer-goers. I love the summer. Our trip is 6/10-15, so it's not quite as crowded as later on.

Anyway, I'm posting to say hey and also to selfishly check my countdown.....

We all have to check the countdown. I would love to go when it is cooler, I'm not infatuated with the heat. . but I'm a teacher, as is DH, and that makes it really difficult. . .
SO, with all the activities in June, July was our only option this year.
I'm sure it will be so full of people who don't know better, there will be very few DISers there.

If you'll be there with me, can I hear a shout out???

My travel agent called this morning and I can pick up my documents. Unfortunantly my DD4 spent the entire night throwing up so I guess I won't be getting those today. Please Virus Go AWAY ........ I need some serious pixi dust. We leave in 20 days and there are still 4 more of us who need to catch and release this virus.

I know what you mean. We're also traveling June 6 -13 and yesterday DS7 woke up w/ 103 fever, headache, and I'm thankful that he only threw up once. Today, I'm glad to report that he woke up fine. Just a hoping, that the rest of us don't catch whatever it was that he had. So, good luck!

Good luck with the family staying well! This brings back memories...The first year Test Track opened, I took a bus of 5th and 6th graders from NC for four fun days. However, MY ds14 became very ill with a virus and we did not get the chance to ride that year. I stayed at All Star Music All day with him. Turner Drug delivered meds to the room and he slowly recovered. The group did not even get to ride due to the long lines. But I was greatful that the local drug store delivered his prescriptions to our resort so quickly!

Another July trip here; July 14th through the 21st at SSR. I can't wait!!
