june hours

anyone heard anything on june hours yet? Or, is it time to start complaining?

You need to wait. I'd say we'll see preliminary hours sometime next week, or possibly not even for 2 weeks.

Look what happened with April and May. The hours we released then changed around multiple times.

Disney is probably trying to get a handle on attendance and resort capacity before releasing hours.

If you need an idea for what to plan for check historical hours from last year. They probably will be very close if not identical to this year.

I would also say, just wait. I sent an email last week and told them I was a little disappointed and fustrated that the June hours were not out yet. I received a call from Disney and the CM I spoke to apologized about the hours not being out yet and basically said what has been stated on the board before. They are trying to wait to determine hours till they have a better grasp on how many people will be visiting the world in June. They are trying not to do what they did in May. She also looked to see if hours had been posted for CM's, because they usually get them a few days before the public does, and there was nothing posted. I would say that they will probably post them within the next week. Hopefully! If I find out anything different I will post it here on the boards.

I got a call back from my CM today and she said that the hours were still not posted.(Duh! Like I don't check for them at least twice a day!) She expected them to be out in the next couple of days. I sure hope so!!!!!

Looks like the hours are going to be good!!! I had been a little worried when the latest PS I could get at the Plaza for 6/5 was 4:50....it appears that my angst was unfounded.

Slow news week, but here we go anyway. Besides the obvious, MS opening dates, Pop Century and Forbidden Mnt, here is what else is going on in the world.

Tinkerbell Rehab.....from now till may 9th, tink will not fly high above the Magic Kindgom and light our Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks.

Plaza Pavilion to close for rehab from Now till May 23rd

As mentioned be *********, SADCT will be rehabing the Princesess and Vilians Floats now to May 24th. Do a thread search for all the details.

Castle show canceled due to grad nights on May 2nd, 3rd, and 9th.

Diamond Horseshoe was used for Grad Nights this weekend to host a Improv Comady show. I was inside the building and can say that nothing at all has been done yet to the stage or Saloon itself. This can only mean one of two things. Eather they are going to run the new show on the stage and not have to chage anything, and that could mean a lower buget new show or that they have not yet even begun to make any small or large changes to the building, stage, lights, bar ect ect. for the new show, meaning it is a long time away. hopefully this is not the case. IMHO, don't expext anything here anytime soon, and if there is not a new show by june, then dont expect anything this year. I hope WDW entertainment proves me wrong. I will be the first to admit it. Lets hope they have something great in the works.

BTM rehab notes....I have mentioned before that BTM is RUMORED to go down for a rehab for 2 to 3 months late summer. I am now hearing that this may be shorter then that, or not happen at all. What is happening, now, is a mini rehab of each train, one by one, to insall new non movable doors, to prevent guests from sticking there feet out of the train. One train will feture these new doors very soon. This makes me again think that the rehab will be shorter then expected if they can get all 6 trains done one by one.

New CM name tags will debut May 1st. They will have tink and the words where magic lives and feture the hometown of the CM.

New Frointerland attractions CM custumes to debut sometime in May. Adventureland Merch is already wereing theres.

PI delayed openings to 9pm on May 2,3,9 due to Grad Nights

Reduced Hours at MK are back.
Jungle Cruise now opens at 10am agian
Riverboat open from 11 to 5 or 6pm
Aunt pollys and El pirata y el perico closed again
Tike closing at 6pm.

And now DISNEY/MGM hours for june and july

Open from 9am to 9pm with 9pm Fantasmic!
June 1-15,18-23,25-29,July 6-7,9-13,18-21,23-27

Open from 9am to 10 pm with 9 and 1030 Fantasmic
June 16-17, 24,30 July 1-3, 5,8,14,15,16,17,22,28-30

Open from 9am to 10 Pm with 9 Fireworks and 1030 Fantasmic
July 4th

Parade everyday at 530

Does that sound right though....the park closing at 10:00,but Fantasmic! is at 10:30???
