I am trying to be able to go in June and wondering if anyone knows of any discounts etc that may help. Trying the value resorts so we can also afford the DDP. We can not leave until June 5th due to snow days in school. We want the 10 days at least and DD's first 4-H fair is the 16th. So we are stuck with the 5th thru the 15th.:guilty:

We are not AAA members and probably not worth it to join for this. No AP either. Any ideas?

Yes, AAA IS worth it! :thumbsup2 Which resort are you looking at? Deluxe/DVC or Value/Moderate? This makes a difference in the AAA discount. During your travel time (June 5-15) you are either going to be in "regular" season with Deluxe/DVC or "summer" season for Value/Moderate. The AAA discount for these seasons is: 10% off Deluxe/DVC and 15% off Value/Moderate. Since you are staying 10 nights this adds up to quite a bit...much more than the basic AAA membership fee.

I am by no means associated with AAA (other than being a member) but I whole heartedly recommend them. We are staying at CSR in June (summer season) for 11 nights and are saving $325!!!!

AAA could save you 10-15% off your room only portion of your trip.

10 days at a value at 119$ a night.. would mean savings of about 150$

10 days at a mod at 160$ a night would mean savings of at least 220$

And

10 days at a delxue at 350 a night would mean savings of at least 400$.

So AAA can be worth it depending on your needs.

Otherwise - can't think of anything else that would be available for June as of right now.

We are staying at the Pop 6/12-6/15 and booked with a AAA discount. We tried several times to book through AAA, but the rate was the same as Disney's rate (109.00). Thankfully, a helpful CM asked if we were AAA members and the AAA rate booked through DISNEY reservations was $92.65 per night.

So check with Disney about the AAA rate...BUT have your AAA card with you, because they have asked for ours before.

Also, we stayed at the Pop this past week with a passholder rate and they ARE asking to see your Annual Pass...thankfully we really are passholders. They seem to be cracking down...which as a passholder, I appreciate.

Since you are wanting the dining plan if you decide to book with an aaa discount you must contact aaa. Disney can not book aaa discounted packages. AAA discount in summer season at a value saves you 15% of the cost of your hotel. In a rack rate package, all the components are rack rate. So the hotel portion of your package cost is the exact same as it would be if you got a room only. So whatever the amount is you deduct that from the package price.

Value hotel Summer season -
Std Room 109/Preferred room 121
AAA 15% off 16.35/18.15
10 nights with tax, total aaa savings 183/204

Typical aaa member rates are around $50 so even after paying for membership you will still see a savings of well over 100 if you can get availability. There are some other small perks that come with a aaa vacation like preferred parking, discount card (small) for shopping and tours etc, story time with a character...and having aaa for your travel and auto club needs for the next year. Do I sound like i'm in aaa memebership sales yet? I'm not but we really like booking our disney vacation with aaa as long as we get a decent rep. We even got in on another code this time but had the aaa agent book it so that we could take advantage of the extras...We loved the story time. It wasn't a big deal but kind of cozy and not overwhelmingly chaotic like most character events.
