Someone please give me thier take on what to expect?????? We have never been......usually go the end of August/beginning of Sept. How is the weather? Thanks in advance!
We went last June (for our first summer trip!) from June 25-29. The the first couple of days weren't bad. We were able to ride everything wanted multiple times. It always stormed in the afternoon so we would go back to our hotel for a rest and come back in the evening. The last two days we were there was horrible! I think because it was nearing July 4th. Everything had waits of 2 hours plus! But even a crowded day at Disney is better than a day at home!
This will be our 4th trip during early June -- we will be there 6/2-6/11 -- and we have usually found the crowds and weather to be both be very manageable. It will be more crowded than you are probably used to but with some planning and FastPass you should be able to see a lot. It will be hot and humid and will rain a little every day--usually for about 15-20 minutes in the afternoon. Just put on your ponchos and keep going If Fantasmic and Spectro are offered twice in an evening, go to the second one. It won't be as crowded and you won't waste a lot of time waiting.
We have been in June twice-its can get pretty hot and humid but we feel its bearable. Usually the afternoon showers cool things down a bit. It has been crowded when we have gone in June but fast passes help a lot.
Last year we were at Disney May 29-June 12. The first week wasnt bad then we were at Universal June 4-7 then back over to Disney and then you could really see a difference in the crowd.

We go first couple of weeks in June - It is very manageable. But you will need a plan to avoid getting bogged down in long lines. The deeper into June the more the crowds build.
I will put a link to a poll I did about school vacations in my next post. many schools had snow days this year so much of the east coast is not getting out till much later - this means the population centers nearest Disney do not get out of school until the later part of June. This should abate crowds this year to some degree. Out west people are more likely to head to Disneyland. Don't get me wrong, westerners still go to WDW. Its just they have a more viable choice because airfare to California is fairly cheap from western states. Our going to WDW from our origination point in the Southwest US doubles the airfare.
All that being said, June won't be like holiday seasons, or mid summer... but it won't be anywhere near an empty park.
here is the poll
