june crowds??

How are the crowds the 1st or 2nd week of June compared to the 1st week of Aug? Thanks

I cannot compare the crowds to August, but I have been there during that time for three years. I really like that time of year. The crowds are moderate but get heavier around Father's Day time. We always get to the parks when they open or on EE at MK and leave in the bad heat time in the afternoon for a break for a swim and return to the parks after an early dinner. We also do e-ride night to make sure we can get all the good rides in at MK with shorter lines.

I am not used to humidity, so that is what bothers me the most with going at that time. There are chances of afternoon showers during this time and the humidity is high. Take a squeeze breeze/misty fan, drink lots of fluids and enjoy yourselves!

As more schools get out for summer vacation, the more crowded Disney and other vacation destinations become. We usually go at the end of May into the begining of June. It is crowded and hot, but not as bad jas the end of June and into July. Just my opinion though.

My family has been during both times. We like them both as it is hot. In early June, there are less people as some of the schools are not off yet. Based on our experience, it was less crowded but rained more in June (sometimes for 2-3 days, ALL day). In August, it was hotter and there were more people. As long as you go early, the crowds won't be a big problem. We love them both!

By this August, our house will be built (in Windermere where we can SEE MK fireworks from our yard) and we will get FL Annual Passes so we will be there a LOT (at least until we get tired of it).

Either way, it's warm enough for the water parks, swimming, and packing lightly!
