June Crowds/When are schools out?

I am sure that this has been discussed, but can't find it!
When do area schools get out and what are the crowd levels like in June?
We will be be there the second week in June.
We were there in October and it seemed very crowded due to fall break and I was just wondering what it will be like to compare it to so I can put a touring plan together. Thanks!

Going to visit DL June 11-17. Going to avoid the parks Saturday, maybe drive down to San Deigo Zoo. Thinking about going Sunday afternoon since the park is open until midnight, will the crowds still be bad?

My sister's kids in San Diego get out of school the third week of June. We're going May 31 - June 6 so we're hoping for low crowds too!

A lot of Arizona schools (ours included) have their last day on the Friday before Memorial Day weekend.

It varies like anything else to do with the schools breaks. With all the different year round schedules, there seems to always be a state or area out! Here where we live schools get out June 5th. But a lot of schools don't get out until after the 2nd and even 3rd week of June.

We usually go the second week of June, and this year we'll be there the first week of June. Usually it's not that crowded at all. Last year during the second week we enjoyed low crowds. Found ourselves riding most things in the morning hours! It was really nice, and I'm hopeful for the same this year.

The first week of June is my absoloute favorite time of the year to go. The schools are not out for another few weeks, most people have not started to arrive yet for vacations, there are extended park hours during the week, the shows like the Electrical Parade have been playing in the past (Thats a seasonal parade), the weather is gorgeous and warm but not over hot like peak summer, Most referbs should be completed by then, and as for crowds its not so bad. Extremely manageable.

You will find the occasional school group or church group in the park, but you wont be waiting any more then 15 minutes to get on any ride (Well maybe Nemo now).

Some years though the park will have a Grad night during the week during the first few weeks (usually on a thursday) where the park closes early around 8:00 instead of like 11. But this year it appears to be on the 13th so the first week should be no problem.

Our schools here in So Cal get out June 11, so I concur that the first week of June is a good choice. BUT- look carefully at closing times, at least in years past, the Catholic schools graduated end of May/Early June and so many evenings were lost to Grad Night then as well.

The first week appears to just have June 5th as a grad night. So one night won't be too bad! We'll probably spend that day at Universal.

I was wondering why DL was closing earlier one night during our trip. I guess we will go out to dinner and relax that evening.
I was really nervous about the crowd levels that week, this is our first trip that time of year. Thanks for the good news.
