June comes before August & the APs will still be valid! I think we're done here!

I was thinking about getting something for DH but what do you get someone at Disney that hates Disney? Disney Florist has a cooler of beer for like $100 but we'll have beer at the concierge lounge and I don't think he'd drink the entire 6 pack in the 10 days we are there.

Do you have Peggy's website? I tried searching but couldn't find it.

That stinks about the Talbots shirts!:headache:

Congrats on the 30% at Gap.:woohoo:

Thanks!

I really can't think of anything DH would like from her or from Disney Florist.

I thought I had talked myself back into just sticking with BWI CL for July but now I'm wavering again. Gene really enjoys a nice meal so I don't know that he would love AKV. I was thinking that BWI would put us within easy reach of lots of nice places but now I'm thinking he'd really love the GF. On the other hand the kids & I would enjoy AKV and maybe he won't be happy anywhere??? I better hurry up and decide so I can make a few more ADRs.

You could always call and have them do a custom basket. But the hard part is choosing things to go in the basket.

AKL is my favorite resort, so I am not going to be any help. I will say we hardly ever eat at AKL except for Mara and breakfast at Boma. We had a less-than-stellar experience at Jiko several years ago and haven't been back, and we typically have dinner away from the resort. People say Sanaa is good, but their menu doesn't grab me. I think Gene would enjoy AKL because there is A LOT to see. The CMs are fascinating, the grounds are lovely, there is artwork everywhere, it's just an amazing place. But you've been there, so you know. ;) Good luck with your choice!

I wore my Ecco sandals to the mall. They felt pretty good. The thing is, I am never sure if the shoes are making my foot hurt, or if it hurts because there is something wrong with it. I mean, there are going to be days that it hurts because there IS something wrong with it. I can't blame the shoes.

I went back through my closet and decided which shirts I want to bring. All 30 of them. I will worry about shorts next weekend. And shorts aren't that big of a deal since we'll have a washer. I am afraid to wash any of my shirts in the villa because they will be the size of Bitty Baby shirts when they come out of the dryer. And NOTHING air dries in that humidity. :sad2:

I'm trying to remember what else I need to do.

-Load the reward dollars from the Visa
-Cash the check in my purse that belongs to DS
-Put money in the tip envelopes

Of course all the packing, printing out boarding passes, that sort of thing.

I might want to add either a late breakfast at Kona or a lunch at The Plaza to replace the lunch I cancelled at LTT.

DERP!! I silly. Well hooray for Memorial Day! :thumbsup2

:rotfl:

ETA: I just wanted to clarify, I meant hooray for not working. Not really hooray for Memorial Day, because it's not a hooray kinda holiday.:goodvibes

I know what you mean. :)

It works well for me to have a 3 day weekend right before we leave. I am having my hair colored on Saturday, I'll probably go for a pedicure. Then I have Sunday & Monday to clean so our pet sitter won't be frightened! :rotfl2: She has been our pet sitter forever. I am sure I am not fooling her with my last minute rush to clean before every trip. But that's OK. :rolleyes1 Also, DS and DH will only have Tues - Thurs to make a mess. Yes, 3 day weekend is a very good thing! :thumbsup2

17 days! :bitelip: That sounds pretty close!

I added lunch at the Plaza. Of course the first time I tried to add it the dining system wasn't working, so I had to go back last night and try again. I really don't hate online ADRs, even though I was sure I would.

I cashed DS's check and gave the money to him.

Macy's didn't have the polo I wanted in DS's size. Which is OK, because I bought him a polo at Gap and he hardly ever wears polos anyway. Probably because he has been in a polo for his school uniform for the past 8 years! It's a good thing there are only 11 school days left, because his black polos are distinctly grayish. Next year - NO UNIFORMS!!

I'm so glad you posted that....I almost forgot!! :scared1:

Somehow I think they lose the "wow" factor for the recipient if they are empty. :rotfl2:

I bought DS 2 more pairs of shorts and 2 more polos today. I had a coupon for 40% off any full price item at Gap (valid today ONLY), so I bought another pair of shorts. The problem is I can't remember if this is the same pair I ALREADY bought for him. Those darn plaid shorts all look very similar. :sad2: If they are the same I can take them back.

They were still handing out those "scratch off" coupons, so I got a 20% off to use on the polo and a pair of clearance shorts. Then I went to Old Navy and bought another polo. The thing that chaps me is that these stores ALWAYS run "Buy 2, Get a Better Price". BUT they never have 2 shirts in DS's size in colors that I want. :headache:

The grocery store had a bunch of mints, gum, sunscreen, etc. 50% off so I grabbed a bunch of that. We should be set as far as that stuff goes.

15 days! :dance3:

The shorts I bought yesterday are NOT the same ones I bought over the weekend, so that's good. :thumbsup2

I wonder what else I was waiting to do until the trip was closer? Now it is closer, but I can't remember what I was waiting to do!

You need to look at the touring plans crowd calendar. They changed the way they express the data and are taking all four parks into account now, not just the mountains. Wow! The numbers for your dates changed, as did some of mine. I actually have a nine in August!:scared1:
