June comes before August & the APs will still be valid! I think we're done here!

Today I am laundering bed linens and cleaning the rest of DS's room.

We have used "traditional" litter in the cat boxes forever, but I decided I wanted to switch to scoopable. DH has some sort of issue with scoopable, so he has been resisting the switch. Not sure why he cares. :confused3
We switched the one box to scoopable a couple of weeks ago and it seems to be going fine. We switched the other box yesterday, so we have several days to make sure things are going OK before the trip. I think it is easier for the pet sitter (assuming we HAVE a pet sitter :headache:) to scoop the boxes instead of completely changing out the litter. We only have trash pick-up 3 days a week and there are only certain hours that we can put the trash out, so this will be MUCH more convenient!

At some point today somebody needs to go get enough groceries to get us through until Friday AM.

I went to CoinStar with some change yesterday and it added up to $28! :thumbsup2 That was a nice surprise! We weren't really saving up change. DS had a bunch in his room that was loose on his dresser, we have a dish where DH tosses his change, and I have a little piggy bank where I dump my change when my wallet gets too heavy. Considering that DH and I NEVER carry cash I was shocked to have almost $30.

DH went to the grocery.

I am finally washing that last load of towels.

DS's room is as clean as it is going to get before the trip.

The pet sitter e-mailed, so all is well! :goodvibes

FOUR DAYS!!! :yay:

I need to go get a pedicure today. I thought about going Saturday after my hair appointment, but I realized I left my cell phone at home. I figured I should go home in case DH and DS were having some sort of altercation. They like to bicker with each other one weekends. Too much time on their hands.

It would probably be a good idea to clean DS's bathroom again today. The rest of the house is looking pretty good! :thumbsup2

Elizabeth - I saw Laurie comment on your trp so I headed over here. What page are your dining adrs on??

Hi, Maryann! :)
I am sorry you didn't like Narcoosee's. :guilty:
I think I listed the ADRs back a page or two. Tokyo Dining, bluezoo, and The Wave are new this year.
I traded my Altima on an Accord. I have owned 4 or 5 Altimas, and the quality REALLY varied with the model year. I would Google whatever model you are looking at and see what other people are saying. My '07 had the most HORRIBLE squealing brakes. It was embarrassing. :sad2:
We are really looking forward to the trip! :thumbsup2

DH claimed that the 20 oz. bag of coffee I bought for the trip was too big. Besides, we ran out of coffee so he opened it. So he bought 2 12 oz. bags for the trip. Um, hello?

We usually don't bring anything other than coffee, but on a whim I decided to throw some Pop Tarts, some granola bars, and some of those little boxes of cereal in one of the suitcases. I have a feeling they might come in handy since we aren't staying concierge this year! DS has been snacking more, but I am not sure if he is really hungry or just bored. Better to be prepared.

THREE days 'til departure!!!

Back to work today! And the next 3 working days are going to be CRAZY busy. On the one hand that should help the time pass quickly. On the other hand, it will make me a frazzled mess! :scared:

3 more days of middle school for DS!

SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!! AND DS!!!!!!

(not for the work, but for 3 days!!) and DS is done with MS!!! AMAZING!! :cool1::cool1::cheer2::cheer2:

OMG, I think DP and your DH are related....I get that line about taking too much too....as if....have to go replace the jerky now....ugh...

Doing laundry tonite, and mowing tomorrow, then all good for departure Thursday afternoon. :)

Hang in there...and hide the coffee from your DH...lol...

See you there!

Gypsybear, I thought it was odd that one 20 oz. bag of coffee was "too much" but 24 oz. split between 2 bags was fine. Not quite sure of the logic there. Will you guys be at AKL for drinks Friday night? I think you should. Even if you have to ditch the other 11 members of your party. :rotfl2:

Princessallegra, I hope we get to meet you and your DH!

Aristocath, yes, got my pedicure. :thumbsup2 The polish looks more "red" than it looked in the bottle. I was trying to go bright pink without being too coral, and it ended up more red than pink. But whatever. They look better than they did! :rotfl:

Looks like just a couple of little last minute tweaks...

One of our friends isn't able to join us for the Wishes cruise, so I think we're going to cancel and save it for another trip. We'll keep dinner at The Wave, though, because of the CAKE!

I need to cancel our existing Citrico's ADR. I haven't decided if I will move it to another day or if we'll just skip it this trip. I love Citrico's, but their current menu isn't just blowing me away so if I DON'T work it back in on another night it's not a big deal.

I keep saying we'll give Jiko another try, and I do see a slot where Jiko would fit in really well. :rolleyes1

We are leaving in TWO DAYS! The day after tomorrow we will be ON THE PLANE! That's just 48 hours from now!!!

OK, so after a bit more discussion we will leave Citrico's the way it is. I am going to cancel the Wishes cruise. I don't think I am going to book a Jiko dinner. Maybe Boma. I'll talk to DH about it.

I am going to miss your departure, Elizabeth. So I will simply say, HAVE A BALL!!

OK, so the Disney Florist does NOT have: pressed penny books, refillable resort mugs, rice crispy Mickey heads NOT dipped in chocolate, graduation plush, or anything else that I was planning to use to craft a custom gift basket. OK, so fine, I could use another vendor BUT they can't do food & beverage items! :headache:

Perhaps NOT a gift basket!
