June check-in! Start of summer season!

Hi there!

We are going to be there June 14-19. On June 15, we are celebrating our youngest daughters 9th birhtday!

This will be our second trip....we went in 07 and stayed at Embassy Suites Anaheim South...loved it!! BUT........

this time, we opted to stay at Residence Inn Resort (kids suite). Please...anyone out there...did we make a mistake? Any thoughts on Residence Inn Resort?

Also, since we have the five day HP...we want to get the birthday card that she can buy stuff with and not entry to park....what do we need to do for that and where do we go to receive it?

June 5th-10th Grand Californian Hotel, with my mom. I'm so excited! I was just there (HoJo's) with a friend (Belle Ella) at the end of March.

Now going June 22nd-27th instead of 5th-10th. Still at the Grand Californian Hotel though. My mom and I need our Fantasmic and Electric Parade fixes! Woohoo!

My family is going June 11-15 and staying at the Residence Inn - Garden Grove. We are also staying in a kids suite. After reading the boards I'm affraid I made a mistake picking our hotel. However I've called the hotel and disney with lots of questions. The hotel sounds like we'll like it. We have a 2,4,9 year old. My son Jaxson (2) is a handful. He needs a seperate room to sleep in and needs his naps. A suite was a must have for us! I just hope it's a good choice. The hotel said the room is apx 750 sq ft. I hope that is right...the more space the better!

I was confused at first when I changed my hotel...I was told ours was the Residence Inn Resort and not the one at the Maingate. Which one is yours? Check out tripadvisor.com this site gives pictures taken by guest who have stayed there and gives a breakdown of the room; service; etc.

I believe the kids suite will be a good choice for you...I hope for us also!
