Hi,
Opinions please? I am Looking to book from 6/20-6/27 for MCO. My crystal ball is broke. Does anyone think the fares will come down or increase during the next couple of weeks?

P.S. booking from Boston...:surfweb:

I see you're from Rockland. I'm in East Bridgewater, and my son and I flew out of TF Green the Friday afternoon of February School Vacation week. So we were dealing with a HUGE travel day on top of the airlines getting caught up from all the snow delays/cancellations.

No word of a lie, we were dropped off curbside at 12:00, bags checked, through security, putting our shoes back on at 12:15. It would probably only take you about an hour and 10 minutes or so to get there. It took us 1 hr, and we went all the way down Rt 44, NOT 95.

Not sure how many of you are flying, but Southwest has some decent prices for your dates. If I can get a non-stop out of BOS or PVD for $275 or lower, I jump on it. JetBlue is also flying out of Green now, but they are significantly more than SWA right now. Flights out of BOS may come down some, but I don't think I'd count on it.

Good Luck!

go to Kayak and put your dates in for BOS to MCO and show nearby airports, the picture isn't pretty. Kayak has a Price Trends forecaster and it says that there is a 79% chance that fares will rise and to Buy now.

Of course, that doesn't count on fare sales which will bring down prices for the short term. With the current fares at $352 pp and up, I'd hold out a bit longer and like the prior poster noted, try TF Green (you can take a train to it now from Boston South Station) as its an easy drive and has inexpensive parking compared to Boston.

The cheapest flight right now is Airtran at $266 pp with non-stop one way and one stop (Atlanta) the other.
