I've been watching this cruise for two months now. Saw it reduce $400 and got excited. It's still about $400 (for 3 people total) off from my budget. Saw it increase $500 this a.m.??!! Ugh! What should I do? I hear many of you talking about sales last year; i.e. kids sale free, etc. Do you think this is preparation for a sale. Does Disney do that, increase to have a sale? Jish?! Or is this just a case of classes selling out? So depressed this a.m.! Help! ha, ha!
It's only a hunch (after watching the bookings for this particular June 8 cruise for the past 13 months), but I think Disney is having difficulty selling out cabin space on this voyage. It's a shoulder-season cruise date where most USA children are still in school and before Europe swings into its Summer Holiday period.
My best guess is that Disney will offer a "last-minute" promotion in late February or early March, after all of the presently-booked guests have to lock in with their final payments. If it were me (faced with the current pricing), I'd wait another 6-8 weeks to book to see if the promotion materializes. That said, be aware that waiting always carries the risk of an increase in price.
Good Luck! We hope to see you aboard in June!
