ok, FE gifts are DONE! I made 14, just in case a few more join in the next few weeks.....ANY TAKERS????

Maybe we need a FE cut off date to make sure we all won't end up running around the last week buying more FE gifts?? We did this on my last cruise and it took alot of stress off us. I would suggest MAY 7th, 1 month before we cruise. Let me know

That would be great! I'm going to order what I'm handing out and I don't want to be short or get too much unnecessarily.

I am all shopped out now and I am desperate to start packing, I can't believe we'll be heading to WDW 7 weeks on Saturday

I have the suitcases out and have been shopping for everyone for summer stuff - woo hoo! I've been packing some things and ironing, although I don't know how the ironing will work as we are spending a few days at WDW first and then on the cruise.

Is everyone staying at WDW before the Cruise ? We arrive on the Saturday before the Cruise, and we're staying at the Polynesian for two nights, and hoping to get to the Star Wars Weekend on the Sunday. On the Monday we head to the Comfort Inn at Port Canaveral ~ bring it on !!!

DD's dance recital is on Saturday, so we hop in the car as soon as it's over (~6pm) and will head on down to Orlando from there. We'll pull into Pop Century sometime Sunday afternoon, and we're there for 2 nights. I was hoping to hit Star Wars Weekend, but I don't know if we can see/do anything in however many hours we have on Sunday, so we're going to have dinner at the Yachtsman's Steakhouse and spend the pre-Cruise days at Epcot instead.

We wanted to do WDW before the cruise but make-up school days because of snow messed it up. Now we're going to WDW after the cruise instead.

we were going to do the AKL before the cruise, but we have decided to roll our DVC points and stay during Christmas. I hate the WDW Christmas crowds, bt it is sooooo pretty!!! So we are heading to port Mon morning and staying at Country inn & suites.

Looks like the May 7th FE cut off is a go, so I will add it to post #12

Wow I haven't visited this thread in so long lol and let me just say I can NOT wait for this cruise, I am currently finshing up student teaching and everyday that I feel stressed I just go wait JUNE 8th JUNE 8th JUNE 8th lol looking so forward to being done with school and relaxing this summer, until I have to apply for jobs that is lol.

I'm new to the forum/discussion board thing and am having a hard time with the jargon.

I'd love to join the thread with others on the same cruise as us, but I'm not sure what the FE and Roll Call are. Can anyone enlighten me?

If you can't tell, this is the first time I've ever posted on a board and it will also be the first cruise for my family.

Good to meet you all...and am counting down the days 'til sandy beaches and warm sun.

FE stands for fish extender it is for exchanging gifts on the cruise something like a secret Santa if you look back on previous post here you will see a photo of one.

the roll call is a listing of everyone that is on the cruise I think it is about post number 12 here.

if you have any question just ask people on the dis boards are a very friendly group. usually there is a dis meet in the cruise so everyone can say hi.

The idea of the Fish Extender Exchange is to leave little gifts for those taking part. You can either leave a gift for everyone taking part, or you can leave gifts per stateroom, it really is up to you. It's lots of fun to take part in

We currently have 10 families taking part (see post 12 on page one of this thread) and the cut off date to join in is May 7th
